About Clancys Cork
Clancys Cork re-opened its doors in November of 2019 after its closure
two years prior. The 15/16 Princes Street/Marlboro Street premises has
been trading as a bar since 1824, which positions Clancys as one of Cork’s
oldest pubs. Since reopening after its complete renovation, Clancys has
gained a reputation as one of Cork’s best entertainment venues, offering
high quality drinks made by talented mixologists, casual dining ranging
from breakfast to dinner and some of the best live music acts which Cork
has to offer. The historical significance of the pub is maintained in the
décor which displays Irish sporting memorabilia and All-Ireland medals
collected throughout the decades. Clancys Cork is quickly surpassing its
former glory, and is becoming one of Corks most beloved and enjoyed
venues. Call into us to enjoy a coffee with friends, a meal with loved ones,
or to enjoy a night on the tiles. We cater to it all here at Clancys, and look
forward to having you with us.
Thanks to Sully and the team for a great night
Absolutely loved the decor and the lovely staff. I can’t wait to go back after level 3 is lifted. The Food was excellent.
Food and drink was very good enjoying Peroni and the fish and chips for my meal . Unfortunately the table I sat at was a bit old fashioned not as stylish ias some of the other tables in the venue . I hope that in door dining will resume in 3 weeks time once government restrictions might go back to level two but very pleased to hear Clancy's is open for outside princes street seating while on level three hopefully will come Least to have a coffee and a pint of Peroni on a sunny day over the next three weeks and look forward to eating back indoor dining once allowed two by the government.
Lovely night had by all, food service very prompt, attentive waiter, only negative was the poor quality of the cocktails, very watery overall
Lovely decor and fab cocktail menu
Your friendly staff made clancys even more inviting, also the food and Irish coffee’s was exceptional, well done to everyone involved
Cocktails where amazing but wouldn’t come back for the food, not a great option of food and ‘spicy’ wing sauce was dry and not crispy
Loved the rooftop bar on Saturday night. Great buzz and everybody kept to themselves. Lovely cocktails
Fab restaurant with great staff, keep up the great work
Really disappointing to book for a specific match and note this in the booking and when we arrived.. to be given a table with an obstructed view. We were told we would be moved but we weren’t.. so we just left once we finished our meal and watched the match elsewhere
Excellent, buzzy lively space. Staff were excellent. Felt very safe as all protocols were observed. Very nice cocktails
