The waiting staff always let your restaurant down - we waited over 45 mins for our main course and the restaurant wasnt even busy!!

I have stayed lots of times in Q hotels but this was the first time here. The suite was lovely and I would use again. Food and drink were good , the spa is too small for the size of the hotel as is the car park. You need to do the breakfast differently as it is too complicated. The juice and pastrie sections are next to the hot food which means if you just want juice you can't get to it.

The food was lovely both nights, but I wasn't impressed with being charged £2.50 more in the restaurant, for the same glass of wine I purchased at the bar! I ordered a small house rose spritzer both times, both times the glass was a175ml glass but I was charged £2.50 more in the restaurant!!!

The Reception, Fitness/Health Centre staff were great. However disappointed with the professionalism of some of the staff in the restaurant, there seemed to be a lack of camaraderie and motivation to smile at each other and to guests. Overall, the rooms are nice, everything worked and location is very good.

Amazing food but starters and desserts were a bit pricey. My husband had the fishcake for starter which consisted of 1 modest size fishcake with a bit of green leaves/salad at a cost of £7 approx !!!!!!! Service was good and staff very polite and helpful. Wine was expensive and the £23 bottle (2nd cheapest) was a tad dry/sharp. Breakfast was very good with plenty of variety.

Hotel was supposed to be 4*. Room was not 4* walls scuffed carpet lifting up where join is with laminate floor bed was 2 single mattresses together with separated during the night and was on wheels so moved away from wall when leaning back to watch tv. Spa facilities were poor pool too small 11-3 adult only but children were in pool. Gym needs updating machines are dated and old need servicing. Staff and food were excellent so a definite positive.

Some staff really friendly! Steak served with no steak knife or any question of whether we wanted any sauces or vinager when main dish served! Waiter never came back to check if meal ok so struggled cutting steak and had no vinager! Did not see any member of staff for 2o mins. One spotted other end of huge dining room setting up for next day breakfast so left my table to tell her! She apologised and deducted cost if deserts ! 2nd night of dining service much better

It is impossible to get a three course meal for the allowance and that is what one expects when booking DBB. The tweaking of the menu for special diets was not good.

We were the only diners so enjoyed private waitress service from Chloe! She was very friendly and helpful (without hounding us) and it was no trouble at all to make up a tray with our dessert to take back to our room. We enjoyed the music and were impressed it was different - Chloe even found out what one of the songs we liked was. There was a great selection on the menu and our choices were delicious.

The hotel was lovely but it is in the sticks a bit, the deal we had was good value as it included Warwick castle tickets and evening meal, it therefore was good value. The room was lovely as were the staff.

We have stayed at your hotel on a few occasions now and I have just applied to be a qhotel member, however we arrived on Sunday and booked in for dinner at 7pm the restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived but it then took us over 3 hours to get through our dinner. The service was horrendous, people came a long time after us but was served in front of us, the staff did not know about the food being served and generally did not care, the head waiter/manager with the curly moustache was very rude and completely disinterested even when the bill which we had to request again and again standing at the counter was incorrect he still basically was not bothered and simply said we are very busy. The staff seemed to be discontented with each other and were sniping at one another at the counter. When we came last time there were 2 weddings on even so the service then was great even with the extra people. I am now thinking of cancelling my membership and rather than choosing this hotel next year to stay in for the Bowls championships which is out of town may re consider for future weekends away. I found crisps on the floor in my room which clearly had not been hoovered, ordinarily I would cope with this but this years visit was an eye opener. I have never ever complained about a hotel stay before as I usually think not everything can suit everyone but I felt so disappointed with this years stay, especially when I booked it for the 6 of us.

Very disappointing experience on a special occasion. Restaurant and hotel very poorly managed. Staff lacked direction on priorities and service was chaotic. Long wait for main courses. Roast chicken was dry, steak wasn't seasoned or cooked well. Managers walking past messy service stations and tables in the bar area. Had to ask for our table to be cleaned 3 times. Didn't complain at time as staff seemed overwhelmed. Individual staff members not at fault, no clear leadership or direction provided by hotel management. This is a shame as seemed like a really nice hotel and restaurant in a lovely setting which we would have returned to if we had experienced better service. Value for money was excellent as we were on a spa break, however, we experienced issues with the package we had booked- long wait at reception, room not ready, confusion and long wait for lunch, complimentary bottle of prosecco not in room on arrival, not enough area around pool area to relax, pool full of children so not very relaxing, however the treatments were really excellent.

The menu was confusing as there was no mention that vegetables were served with main courses so we ordered a separate portion, however when the meal arrived there were some on the plate as well as the portion we ordered.
