Great restaurant. Fabulous food and drink with excellent service
Booked a table for 4 on boyfriend’s birthday and had specially requested to arrange a cake or even a bao with an candle which can be included in bill. On arrival, despite of booking the place more than a week ahead we were allocated a table which is meant for like 3 people the max and we had to sit squished all the time!!! Table didn’t changed on request too!!!! No news about the cake or the surprise at all. While leaving the place and paying at the counter, the lady tells me that the cake it ready but yap too late as the birthday boy had gone outside for freshair as the place suffocated us and couldn’t eat properly as it was congested. Food was good but too difficult to eat in the congestion.... All the service girls didn’t even had a smile on their face!!!! The ambience was lovely but not worth appreciating as the place to sit was so so tight! Why the hell would someone expect four people to sit which is ideally made for 2 or max three. Don’t wannna be so rude but guess what my boyfriend’s birthday dinner was ruined because of the mismanagement of the place !!!! Paid over 110 euros for the spoiled birthday dinner !!! Thank u guys !
Good meal, good service.
Excellent food and service will definitely be back. Thank you.
The restaurant and setup is very unique and wholly enjoyable experience. The food was great, a little light on quantity (especially in terms of meat) but the quality more than makes up for it. Not really knowing what to order we went with two of the platters and were not disappointed, it was flavoursome, different and every dish left you wanting more. The only downside is one that can't easily be fixed, ther often wasn't enough space at the table, on the stairs, in the toilets, especially for anyone over 6ft. I would recommend Chameleon to anyone visiting Dublin, if you're wanting a different, more refined evening and not wanting to stray outside the Temple Bar area this place is for you.
Absolutely fabulous , loved that we got to sample a lot of on the Java menu and a few extra tapas highly recommended ! Staff we very friendly and helpful. A glass of wine was expensive but worth it over all. We will be back.
Loved the food and the whole ambience of the restaurant. Staff were also friendly and very helpful. Will be back the next time we’re in Dublin.
The Javanese menu hit the spot.
I love this restaurant and the food is absolutely amazing! Great atmosphere and very cosy. The only thing I find a little annoying is the staff having to explain every dish to every table. I think no one actually listens and it just leaves the diners waiting till they finish talking to start eating... people can read what's on the menu, I don't see the need to do that every time
we had a wonderful evening, great service and ambiance, thank you - we will be back :-)
Exceptional food and a wonderful array of vegan options. The staff and service are always exceptional, extremely friendly and professional. The food is utterly delicious and it's such a cosy, intimate space, I love this place! I took my mum here so she could taste just how delicious vegan food is (to which she agreed) but there's plenty for the meat and fish eaters too! Great system for ordering with the set menus and tapas menus which makes it super easy to order from such a varied menu. 5 stars all around.
Great Spot. Lovely athmosphere, excellent food.. absolutely loved the platter options. Would definitely go there again
Service was quite slow. Waiting a long time to get the bill and order a drink.
Food was really delicious and gluten and dairy intolerances were catered for with no compromise on flavour or choice. Staff were all so helpful and friendly. We were seated at one of the low tables upstairs and it wasn't the most comfortable physically and because of our close proximity to a large group right in front of our table. I would probably book a regular table next time. Will definitely return.
Fabulous as always
The food and the service are always great at the Chameleon. In 20 years of eating out here I've never had a bad experience.
Great food, the staff are very friendly. Amazing atmosphere.
We really had an excellent night which was made possible by the lovely food and great service. We will 100% be backand recommend to family and friends.
Second time that I come and it's still lovely to eat there, the team is very caring for us. The food is delicious and the atmosphere unbelievable. I really recommend this place!
Great experience, been multiple times now and always consistent food, service, and atmosphere.
Excellent Indonesian cuisine and service. Really enjoyed the satay and short ribs. Really everything we ate was great
We had a lovely dining experience. The food was delicious and waitstaff very attentive and helpful.
€46 for 4 beers... for real! Other than that, food was really good, waitress was exceptional (short black hair)
