About Cecchinis Ardrossan
Situated in a converted old Power House on Ardrossan Harbour, Cecchini's Ardrossan has spectacular views that stretch past the Marina onwards towards Arran and is just a few minutes from the ferry terminal. Be it a romantic evening in our restaurant, a catch up over drinks in the Bistro or coffee outside watching the sun go down there is no finer place to enjoy an occasion.
Very good as always.
Was too busy! Food was as good as! Had noisy rude irritating underdressed loud mouths right next to us when we were trying to have a romantic birthday meal. Asked for a quiet corner, got a quiet corner until those two guys arrived.... food was lovely and so was the wine. Prices were better than expected.
Due to the time of our meal it was so busy and very noisy. Food was excellent as normal. Staff very attentive even though they were very busy. Overall a lovely meal
Was booked for my sons 18th birthday dinner and everything was great. Would visit again.
Lovely service. Value for money. Food lovely
The four stars for atmosphere is only because the mezzanine floor gets unbearably hot at times.
Not very many vegetarian options that aren't pizza. Staff where friendly however had to ask several times for a glass of water which never came. Value for money was okay, would be back but wouldn't rush back.
Soup was served at a tepid temperature. The accompanying bread was rather dry. The chicken pieces in the risotto were rather too chunky and not very tender. The waiter provided adequate service, but remained underwhelming in attentiveness. Good ambiance. One water glass still had old lipstick marks on it. Very reasonable prices.
Choice of a la Carte menu and a deal for two courses at the time we went to the restaurant. Good sized portions on the two course deal It was a lovely evening which enhances the view from the upper floor.
The meat pizza I had was very poor, not much better than a frozen one that you could buy in a supermarket & at £13.95 it was extremely overpriced.
The food was amazing as always. Terrific view as the weather was lovely.
Lovely food at a great price!
First time we had visited, could not fault the food, service or location. Had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch and will be back.
Dining experience was let down by the fact we were right below the air con unit, not only were we cold, our food went cold very quickly. Other than that first class and food was delicious.
The Barga Night was a great event, great atmosphere, fabulous food and live music very entertaining
We booked for a 60th birthday. The place itself is gorgeous. The food is amazing. The service however left a lot to be desired. We waited a good five minutes to grab someone’s attention to be seated and hand over our cake. Waited 15 minutes before being given our menus. We were offered wrong drinks, wrong food. When we did finally get served we were given extra main and desert. The service was very poor. The card machine wasn’t working when it came to paying. Eventually decided to pay by cash only to be shortchanged by a tenner. This took a good 15 to get resolved. When we got home and checked our receipt we were actually charged for the extra food which we did order. It took us three hours in total for a two course meal. Really disappointed as it was for a special occasion. Will not be back!!!!
As a regular at Cecchinis, I have found that the food and drink on offer meets my needs very well. What I particularly like is the friendliness and efficiency of the staff, I have never had a negative experience, and that is what makes sure I will continue to visit.
Apart from couple of mistakes made with the drinks orders we had a pleasant evening.
Fantastic. Great service. Delicious food. Well done.
Three quarters of our way through the meal, a quiz started. The volume of the speaker was far too loud upstairs where we were eating. We couldn’t have a proper conversation because we were drowned out by the dj. Not enjoyable so we promptly finished our mains and left. In other circumstances we would have stayed for desert and coffee. Simply Turing the volume down or off upstairs would have sorted this. We didn’t come for a quiz, we came for a quiet meal
Had a lovely dinner for my birthday. Will be back
A lovely visit on Saturday for lunch. Service was really good and food excellent. We had the choice of the Lunchtime special menu as well as the full menu. Very happy with the price for four adults and two children enjoying a lunchtime two course meal.
A pleasure from start to finish. Great service and food with generous portions, so much so that we had to get a doggy bag! Quickly becoming our favourite eating place and would highly recommend. We will be back soon.
Went with Itison steak voucher for 2 and 2 having standard menu. Service was great but steaks were requested medium and came with correct on inside but outer was charcoaled and just tasted burnt. My daughter drowned hers in peppercorn sauce to disguise it but I enjoy the taste of a sirloin and only managed half as I could sadly only taste the burnt outer. Would definitely think twice about ordering a steak again and definitely not at full price.
Had a lovely meal will definitely be back
