About CATCH Fish and Chips - West End
CATCH is a posh modern day neighbourhood fish & chip shop and restaurant.
Light and crispy batter on the freshest fish is what we're all about. In addition to perfect haddock & chips, expect to order lobster, halibut, langoustine tails, beef burgers & old fashioned fish finger butties. Where possible we source from Scottish coastal fisheries that we are satisfied are best practice and the most sustainable.
Our takeaway menu makes for a delicious night in. Everything cooked fresh to order every time.
CATCH also features a fully stocked bar featuring craft beers from Scotland and beyond, as well as bubbly from Italy and France and a carefully selected choice of wines.
We hope you enjoy your experience!
A tasty meal in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Staff were lovely.
Staff were very impressed with food; already talking about going again for any further company night outs! Excellent attentive staff, prompt service and a very reasonable bill at the end of the night - highly recommend.
Came highly recommended and have to agree. Good value, good food so 2 happy kids and 2 happy adults. Would recommend!
Well overpriced. Would I go back? No !
First visit for myself & my Husband & we were not disappointed. It is the first seafood restaurant we have been able to enjoy together as I am a vegetarian. From my point of view the vegetarian/vegan choice was amazing & very delicious. My Husband said it was the best fish he has ever had. We can’t wait for our next visit not just because of the food but due to the lovely atmosphere & fantastic/friendly staff :)
This was my second visit & will definitely return for a third
This was my first visit. I has the Haddock which was delicious. I liked the way it was served and the vinegar spray was a nice touch. The decor and ambience was lovely too. I would go back again.
Lovely would definitely recommend
Great food and service
Gluten free fish and chips - tick Great, attentive team - tick Fab kids menu - tick Most excellent!
The vegan fish and chips was delicious but the portion was tiny - only 2 bits of tofu? I left still feeling hungry. Great to see the full vegan menu but would love to see the portion size increase if I come back.
amazing food, lovely service staff very polite and attentive.
So so poor. Cold fish, staff/chef arguing. 12.50 for poor fish and chips. Not even a big portion. Not another soul in the place, dead. Expected a lot and got below average.
Great casual lunch. Excellent menu choice and all food was very freshly cooked. Decor is simple and modern and very comfortable. Scored atmosphere down as only one other table in when eating but am sure busier as day went on!
I asked if they were accessible for my wheelchair. There is a step at the door, and seating is upstairs. They did offer to sit us virtually in the take away queue. We declined.
Best Fish and chips I had for a loooong time, possibly ever! Healthy portion as well! We will be back, that’s for sure 👍
Attentive, pleasant staff. Perfectly cooked tempura prawns and fish, as always.
We had a great meal with some friends. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Loved the little vinegar spray bottles that came with the meal! We will definitely be back!
Second time customers, and when we are next in Glasgow we will be back. Perfect fish and chips. The "small" fish dinner is really perfect size for an adult. Crispy, piping hot fish, nice twice fried chips,...just perfect. Decent wine selection. FIsh pakora is a magnificient starter, enough for 2-3 people. Best fish and chips in Glasgow.
Restaurant quality food. Very attentive service. Would recommend.
Hi Atmosphere is marked a 4. However we were eating around 16.30 and that is not a busy time for evening meal. The staff were as usual very attentive and my grandchildren will not go to any other restaurant.
Lovely food, friendly atmosphere.
Wonderful meal. Maybe have platter as a takeaway too. (Ever hopeful).
Was disappointed to be seated in a private room downstairs with no atmosphere. After ordering, we were then told the dish three of us had ordered had sold out and to choose again. On a previous visit, I had had the lobster. Thus is no longer on the menu. I tried calling all day to change the booking from 10 people to 7 but their phone wasn’t working. Wasn’t worth the money to be honest. Won’t return unfortunately.
