Fantastic place, views amazing and the service and food was fantastic! Highly recommend!
Enjoyed a lovely meal with the family. Very friendly, helpful staff. Thankyou.
We spent the Easter weekend close to Edgehill and chose to go for lunch to the Castle following recommendations. We asked for a window sit and were located ath the conservatorio, amazing views! Bonnie was our waitress and could not be more pleasant and accommodating, explaining the dishes to us, recommending food and asking for a taxi for us. The pork and cod were to die for! If we come back to the area, we will definitely come back to the castle.
service very good. food very nice. lovely location
Thank you for a lovely lunch on Easter Sunday. I was particularly impressed with the children’s meals. My son is an incredibly fussy eater, he usually does not eat restaurant food but for the first time he cleared his plate. Staggering!
Great place to have food and drink after a walk wit views. Thank you
Friendly, efficient, humourous
Lovely evening. We all really enjoyed our steaks at Steak Night. Good value. Thank you.
Excellent service and food was to die for Highly recommended
What a fab venue, great food and lovely staff.
Warm and welcoming staff accompanied by great good
Fabulous evening! Excellent food! Brilliant service darling 😜
Our party of 4 had a nice meal in the pleasant conservatory with views over the countryside. Service was attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend for higher level pub food. My tip try to get a table in the conservatory, the restaurant looked a bit sole less.
Delicious afternoon tea in lovely surroundings with excellent service.
Great location, lovely garden and great views. Food is excellent
The food had far too much seasoning on it
A dish of fresh assorted vegetables would have enhanced our vegetarian dish otherwise everything was fine
Excellent service, friendly efficient staff, amazing food.
Lovely evening with fantastic food! The staff did everything to make us feel welcome and special. The birthday plate decorated was a lovely extra!
A nice experience and setting. Nice food-though menu and red wine list quite restricted. Both waitresses were helpful and attentive
The food was great especially the Fillet steak and the Sticky toffee pudding. The wine was also lovely.
Booked for afternoon tea on the Saturday for mother’s day treat. Venue was extremely due to the occasion and also as such a nice day the garden was very full of diners too. The bar staff were coping very well and service was always with a smile. My only slight critic was when we did sit down to have our afternoon tea we weren’t offered any options ‘just normal tea’, we would have liked the choice of early grey maybe? Also we sat for a good ten mins with just our pot of tea, I had to ask where our prosecco/sandwiches were. For the price we paid, the food was lovely, however the overall experience wasn’t quite as special as I hoped.
Really good venue, quite busy on a sunny day but plenty of staff working to keep things flowing.
Quality of food, speed and friendliness of service i couldn't fault. Our table was quite cramped to the 2 around it which made getting in and out tricky for all parties. Menu was maybe a little overpriced for what it was though probably on a par for mother's day. Would definitely return.
The staff are so friendly and welcoming, the food is absolutely out of this world and the views are just spectacular!! We will definitely be coming back very soon.
