Very authentic Portuguese restaurant, serving very authentic and delicious Portuguese food. I felt like there were a few too many tables and therefore slightly cramped, and would like to food to be a bit spicer, but other than that, one of my favourite restaurants!
Food was exceptional and delicious. Its a beautiful restaurant and staff were friendly and helpful. The only problem was the noise, we could barely hold a conversation, but we went at a peak time. How busy it is a good indicator of how popular the restaurant is. We would definitely book to go again.
Had a lovely dinner here with my sister! Friendly, attentive staff, delicious food and great cocktails (I would recommend the Caipirão). What more could you want? The restaurant itself is also absolutely beautiful.
Great simple food cooked to perfection and served well. The pastesi de nata were exceptional.Lovely staff and service. Seating a little cramped
Authentic and delicious piri piri chicken
Our first visit and we will be back. The peri peri chicken is just like in the Algarve - juicy and delicious. Also loved the octopus rice and huge, creamy pastel de nata. Fab setting too. Only downside was the tiny portion of lukewarm chips for £4 - won’t be ordering these next time.
The starters were the highlight of our experience!! The chicken was nice but average. Amazing service from the team !!
Hello, I had a very pleasant evening. The staff was great and the food was as good as expected. However, I was rather disappointed to be chased from my table at 8pm (we arrived at 6.30pm) although it clearly states on the website that the second sitting starts at 8.30. The waitress was rather insistent and it did not go down well.
Don't be put of by the entrance as we initially were venture in and have a great experience.
Delicious! Lovely space, wonderful service. An excellent restaurant.
What a fantastic evening. Such a great buzz of people all enjoying themselves. Service was very quick and efficient ran very smoothly. Food was very tasty ate every bite, for me just a little to much salt. Couple of things niggled at me, one being the varnish on the table left the table sticky as if not clean and two at points in the evening it seemed the extraction fan was not strong enough to cope with kitchen use. Would definitely go back, next time as a group.
Lovely food and service. Best Pastel de Nata in London by far.
Visited first time with a friend who eats meat (I'm a piscatorian). Beside chicken they had quite a few good looking starter that are vegetarian. I ordered roasted cauliflower and salt cod&chickpea fritter. Both lacked flavour and fritter wasn't really piping hot. My friend who ordered chicken and batatas fritas was disappointed with pale white "normal" looking fries. Custard tar was the best. Staff were cheerful and very buzzy atmosphere.
There was a lot of staff running around shock Made the experience overall not so good, also we got the feeling that we had to hurry up sp the taboe coups be used again asap.
Been to Portugal many a time but a little disappointed in quality of food. Also very expensive for the portion size. Peri peri chicken was delicious thigh. Bring prices down and I’ll return! Thanks
Lovely restaurant and great food : )
Fantastic lunch!
A fantastic lunch on all fronts. What a great place!
I expected more. i won't be coming back.
Great food and atmosphere. A little hard to find but would definitely eat there again
Very good, will come again soon!
One of my favourite restaurants and always goes down very well when I bring others along who haven't yet visited Casa do Frango.
Fantastic food service and experience
Such a wonderful lunch, great food and lovely attentive staff who were fantastic with the kids too. Couldn’t recommend highly enough
Very nice space, shame you can only book large groups at 6pm or 9pm as the later setting the staff rush you and restaurant empties out. Only serve nuts in the bar to keep you going, definitely should do some small snacks if they are going to make you wait until 9pm to eat. Other than that and few small things, they are nearly there!
