Beautifully cooked seafood with wonderful views. A real hidden gem. I'll definitely be going back the next time I'm in Liverpool.
King prawn starter didn't appear to have had the black tract cleaned from them. Staff forgot about my main course so my companions were finished dining by the time my fish arrived. They said this was their error and it would be removed from the bill, but it was not. Over priced for average food. Disappointed.
My boyfriend and I had a fantastic meal here , the scallops and muscles were very tasty and Lobster was reasonably priced and very fresh. Fantastic service , very hospitable , welcoming and friendly . We will definitely be visiting again.
Food was lovely especially the monkfish and prawns, staff were very friendly and great value for money.
Lighting a little bit subdued , our old eyes struggled to read the menu, parking could be a problem spaces limited. Sea food platter was excellent!
Absolutely wonderful will be back soon
Excellent food & atmosphere 1st class!
Food and service is outstanding and we could not have asked for more. A go, go, go!
Once we were shown to our table, the service was excellent. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of Shiraz and chose fish/seafood dishes since this appeared to be their speciality. We weren't disappointed as the fish and chips (cod) and seafood risotto were delightful. It was a great experience and we will be returning.
Food was delicious. Not easy to cook, seafood, but everything came out just right. Very tasty. Atmosphere was good; friendly, attentive Maitre d' and the service wasn't too busy. We had scallops, calamari, fish cakes, fish 'n' chips and the monkfish...bottle of half decent Rioja (decadent eh..red wine with fish), chockky pud, cheesecake, ice cream and two liqueur coffees. Oh and a pint of Guiness. £102.50 for two. I think it was tremendous value. Suggestions - spot where we sat could have been warmer, to be honest, and the liqueur coffees were too cold to our taste (although the measures were spot on). I'm nitpicking though - I've not enjoyed a meal so much in a long time - well done. Will be back.
Definitely place to come back!
Everyone really enjoyed their food, however service was poor. Had to wait 20 mins & ask twice before we were even given menu. The wrong drinks were then brought to the table. We had two small children with us so asked for 2 extra side plates with the main meals - they never appeared. Shame service let down a nice venue, food & drink
Lovely meal on a wet Friday afternoon.
great service and food.
