Thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunch although the restaurant was very quiet. The food was excellent, particularly the monkfish & Antonio provided great service. We will definitely return.
One of the best food in Liverpool and very good service.
Staff were outstanding, food was good but the price was more then it should have been and the place was out of the way but really nice and worth the extra distance.
Really enjoyed the visit. Couldn’t choose from the normal menu as it was Valentine’s Day but the fixed choices were fine and fresh. Food was very well presented and very tasty and I would go again if I’m ever back in Liverpool. Staff were also great and considering it’s location it was reasonably priced.
We ordered the seafood platter for 2 to share. The quality of the food was excellent. I loved the chilli kick of the mussels, the meatiness of the seabass, and the seasoning of the squid. Really enjoyed it. Service was personable, and very friendly. I would definitely come here again.
Great hosts, very friendly and welcoming.
This was by far the best tasting restaurant for fish and lamb I have been too, everything tasted so fresh and cooked very well. Very reasonable price and customer service was excellent. Will definitely be back again.
The restaurant felt quite understaffed on a busy night. Nevertheless the Manager could not have been more apologetic for the long wait and the food was delicious. Great view of the dock so would return on a brighter day!
Excellent service. Took my boyfriend here for his 21st and the meal, waiter and atmosphere were unbeatable!
I was disappointed firstly by the fact I had advised both via email and over the phone it was my stepsons 15th birthday yet there was no acknowledgement of this by any of the staff. We didnt need waiters singing happy birthday or cakes/candles but a happy birthday or concersation with him acknowledging his birthday would have made him feel special. The foid was lovely and service was ok albeit I had to ask twice for a soft drink despite my glass being empty for a while during main course. Also disappointed that certain food was not available and we were told the menus had been updated so didnt reflect the website. Stepson wanted the langosine dish we saw on website but no longer offered in restaurant. Would we come back, yes but not for birthday occasion
the owner and staff at this restaurant are passionate about service and quality of there food. They were warm and friendly and make you feel welcome. We cant wait to go back
Good service friendly alternative staff lovely food
It was fabulous I could not fault a thing!
Our favourite restaurant in Liverpool, always top notch freindly service and stunning food. Never disappoints any time we visit
Quality of food and service were outstanding. Thank you so much.
Beautifully cooked seafood with wonderful views. A real hidden gem. I'll definitely be going back the next time I'm in Liverpool.
King prawn starter didn't appear to have had the black tract cleaned from them. Staff forgot about my main course so my companions were finished dining by the time my fish arrived. They said this was their error and it would be removed from the bill, but it was not. Over priced for average food. Disappointed.
My boyfriend and I had a fantastic meal here , the scallops and muscles were very tasty and Lobster was reasonably priced and very fresh. Fantastic service , very hospitable , welcoming and friendly . We will definitely be visiting again.
Food was lovely especially the monkfish and prawns, staff were very friendly and great value for money.
Lighting a little bit subdued , our old eyes struggled to read the menu, parking could be a problem spaces limited. Sea food platter was excellent!
Absolutely wonderful will be back soon
Excellent food & atmosphere 1st class!
Food and service is outstanding and we could not have asked for more. A go, go, go!
Once we were shown to our table, the service was excellent. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of Shiraz and chose fish/seafood dishes since this appeared to be their speciality. We weren't disappointed as the fish and chips (cod) and seafood risotto were delightful. It was a great experience and we will be returning.
Food was delicious. Not easy to cook, seafood, but everything came out just right. Very tasty. Atmosphere was good; friendly, attentive Maitre d' and the service wasn't too busy. We had scallops, calamari, fish cakes, fish 'n' chips and the monkfish...bottle of half decent Rioja (decadent eh..red wine with fish), chockky pud, cheesecake, ice cream and two liqueur coffees. Oh and a pint of Guiness. £102.50 for two. I think it was tremendous value. Suggestions - spot where we sat could have been warmer, to be honest, and the liqueur coffees were too cold to our taste (although the measures were spot on). I'm nitpicking though - I've not enjoyed a meal so much in a long time - well done. Will be back.
