About Caravan City
Caravan City is a multi-terraced all-day dining restaurant, coffee and cocktail bar with a flexible working & events space. Signature favourites are combined with new additions, with flavours from around the world, inspired by a lifetime of travel. Open from 7am on weekdays and 10am on the weekends, food is served from three menus- breakfast (weekdays), brunch (weekends) and our all day lunch & dinner menu which is made up of small and large plates designed for sharing.
Natural fabrics and charcoal exposed steel set the scene to the bustling cocktail and coffee bar. Caravan City has it’s own private dining room for up to 20 guests. The outdoor terrace looks over Bloomberg’s new European headquarters, with covered walkways leading to open squares and calming water installations.
Booked for a large group and was easily accommodated. The service was great and really friendly. The food was amazing - everyone in my group left happy!
Great as usual
Client dinner... everyone was incredibly impressed with the quantity and quality of food, which was served with a smile. Will go back again. (We opted for multiple small plates between 6 of us, highly recommended)
The reservation did not come up on the restaurant records, when we arrived, which was a problem. Luckily a table was found. Service was pleasant but disorganised, lots of people rushing about but not always easy to get attention. Evening was good, will probably return
Wider selection of desserts would be great! The rest were all excellent!
Delicious food, great service, lovely atmosphere.
Had a fantastic time at Caravan. Staff were brilliant with us, patient and ensured that we were fed quickly. Wonderful place for a Sunday brunch!
Great experience Service is good ... sometimes too good Maybe you and they should slow it down so that it doesn’t all come at once This was in autumn but it’s fun outside in summer
Enjoyed a lovely lunch yesterday. Found the the staff very helpful and kind. Will certainly return. Food was unusual for an oldie like me but very enjoyable .
Such an interesting menu, especially for the city. I have already recommended the restaurant to a number of my colleagues as I work very close to this restaurant. Thank you for such a lovely experience- I actually came for both breakfast and lunch last week and both were delicious!
Charming international service!
Very good buzz about the place, an unusual menu but food (pork schnitzel) was very good.
I met someone here for a meeting and only had a coffee which was lovely. The space itself is also well-situated and very beautiful. However, it took a long time for someone to come over and take our order and when I asked if they had any pastries, the server said she didn’t know what they were called so it would be better if I walked around to the front and had a look myself which was a little hilarious. You would expect a place this nice situated in the heart of the City to have better service. And by better, I don’t mean snooty. The other server who came to take my payment couldn’t be bothered to make eye contact or smile.
Really enjoyed our brunch. The hotcakes with stewed plums and maple yoghurt cream were delicious, and the baked eggs warm and comforting. Nice relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.
This is my favourite Caravan restaurant - easy to reach from my house, friendly staff, always able to find a table for weekend brunch (which is almost impossible at other branches).
Popular eatery in a classy setting with great staff and reasonable selection of contemporary dishes
Overall the experience was fine. However, it was spoilt by the fact that we were asked to move tables before we had finished our drinks. It was not stated in the booking that the table was only for 2 hours. Whilst in theory we had no problem with moving, I advised the waitress that I could not sit on bar stools due to a painful back condition and that I needed a seat where I could place my feet on the floor. This was the only option we were given as according to her, all other tables were booked from midday. We moved to some stools (which made the experience very uncomfortable). There were plenty of tables free during the time we finished what we were drinking. I think this was unreasonable of the staff - it was just for the ease of not having to re-set tables, and my comfort was not taken into account. I’m interested to know if they would’ve treated someone with an obviously disability differently
Nice atmosphere and menu
We had a great experience at Caravan City - the staff were fab, attentive and so friendly. It made our night a great one! Thank you
Great location & atmosphere, food excellent, service very good, have been before & will definitely be going back. Be sure to book to avoid disappointment as always very busy.
Took colleagues for a team dinner, we essentially ordered everything from the small plates menu. There was something for everyone, we had a few with dietary requirements (vegetarian, lactose intolerant and someone who only seems to eat pizza. . . ) who were all very well catered for. Everyone was impressed with the quality of food, and the variety. will definitely recommend.
Food was lovely but overpriced for the for what it is
