Lovely Afternoon tea. Service was a bit slow but we were in no rush, and were happy to be left alone to chat. However, we had to ask to be served and for the bill, no-one came to check if we wanted more drinks or everything thing was OK etc, which was noted - hence only 3 stars for service.

I am very sorry but we were disappointed in our Cream tea experience. This was booked back in early December. A Vegan Cream tea was ordered. Considering the cost involved I would expect a 'non- dairy' cream alternative to be served as this is the main ingredient to be served with scones and jam. When I asked if they had a suitable alternative there was no option. The dairy 'cream tea' option was of a good standard. I believe for future 'Vegan' diners you may want to check what's included in your cream tea. .

Meet and greet could do with improving as staff all took busy to stop and see you. Paying for car parking is ludicrous. You pay well over £100 for food and drink and to add £4 for parking is an insult. Also you need change to put in the machine which you might not have. You also have to guess how long you will take to eat you food as you pay before you know and have to place the ticket on the car. So although the food etc was lovely, this will definitely have an effect on my decision to eat here in the future as there are so many lovely places where this does not occur.

Thank you for making my parents 75th anniversary lunch so special. The attentive staff ( even thought to put two armed chairs for my parents) the amazing food and location couldn’t be faulted. Thank you again and we will definitely be back!

Great food and service. Was a little loud for afternoon tea but we were offered to move if we'd have liked so no problems there. The only slight criticism I have is that the blue chairs in the bar area are very awkward for older people to sit in. Many thanks for a lovely afternoon tea.

Lovely meal and great service , more choices of wine by the glass would be better. Parking is a pain, I think it would be nice if having a meal in restaurant a discount off parking would be a guesture of goodwill.

we ate in the lounge bar which was lovely but the music was in the background such that all you could hear was the bass beat. There should either be no music, soft music or audible music as the bass thump merely made it difficult to talk or hear conversation at the table.
