From the warm welcome by Walter and Michael and the excellent and attentive service by Sam to the superb sommelier skills of Paulo, a wonderful evening as always
This was a special evening to celebrate my parents 55th anniversary and the team were amazing in organising this surprise meal and in paying attention to them on the evening. Amazing evening on every level- well done Captains club
An excellent afternoon tea! Thank you!
Good service lovely views good food
Good food but inflated prices on food and wine. Under-informed staff and the food and the wine who seemed on a tight schedule. We spent over £400 and would have expected better service. Lovely spot but disappointingly complacent staff.
I felt the service considering there were a lot of staff on was quite poor. Generally couldn’t catch the eye of anyone to ask for a drink/sugar for the coffee or anything else and they didn’t check on us apart from to being us our food and drink. Also I had already selected afternoon tea online when I booked yet we were still seated and given a menu which revealed the price to my grandma whom I was treating for her birthday. All in all, food was nice but service needs much improvement.
Brilliant as always. Excellent food, attentive service by Martina and great wines superbly presented by top sommelier Paulo
Excellent,it was the food that really made it.
Most enjoyable birthday lunch
Had a fabulous lunch here great service and setting...also stayed here once and the breakfast was also fabulous Stevie G
Excellent location. Well cooked and tasy food with friendly efficient service. All things considered we think it was good value for money and happy to recommend. It is worth reserving in advance and getting a table with views of the river.
High quality food every time - thank you.
We received a warm welcome and the service and food were both excellent. We love the location of the Captains Club too.
This was our second visit in 2 weeks, and we'll be back next week! Absolutely love the Captains Club. Great setting, amazing food, brilliant service and all round relaxing place to be :)
Thank you. We had a lovely birthday lunch with you. I brought family who had not been before. They were impressed. Service was excellent. Choice of food- good and well served and cooked.
Lovely friendly service. Delicious food and cocktails. What more could you want.
Perfect Sunday lunch x
We had to ask to be moved as we were in the general area near the bad and there were some loud guests. But after being moved it was much better. My only other thing was that we only had one jug of milk between four of us so we had to keep asking. We are getting married here next year so we wanted to show my daughter and mum where our big day is taking place.
Bar service very slow . Dirty toilets . Captains club standards have dropped .
Another great meal and evening/night out. Thank you
it's really good that your lounge menu is for all day.
Staff couldn't have been more helpful.
Delightful afternoon tea. WHEN staff attended to our table, they were attentive.
The food was very tasty and you get quite a lot per person. I would recommend the Captains Club.
A special place to come for a meal, food and service excellent with an added bonus of a beautiful view over the river. We love watching the boats sailing past and the dogs playing on the opposite bank
