About Campo at Los Poblanos
Located on an organic farm in the Rio Grande River Valley, Campo at Los Poblanos is a casual fine-dining experience, featuring the most purely crafted field-to-fork menu in the Southwest. Our Rio Grande River Valley Cuisine is rooted in seasonal organic ingredients from our own farm, as well as provisions sourced from longstanding relationships with local farmers and herdsmen. Informed by the daily harvest, Los Poblanos cuisine is constantly evolving with the seasons and celebrates food indigenous to New Mexico’s Rio Grande River Valley.
When we ordered Coffee, it took too long to arrive. When it arrived there was no spoon to stir the sweetener with. When one of us ordered Decaf Coffee it took too long to be told it was unavailable "because the pot had just been cleaned". Tarnished an oltherwise pleasant experience.
Great service, amazing food, beautiful setting. We'll return.
What a delicious and comfortable place to breakfast or have a dinner. Beautiful surroundings and kind, attentive service.
We had a great breakfast... Felt safe, sat outside. Nice atmosphere with the fire, the heaters and the setting.
GREAT as always!
I had dinner twice at El Campo this week. The ambiance cannot be beat, it will always be my favorite place to eat in Albuquerque. So I'm sorry to say that the food was somewhat disappointing this time. One night I ordered the chicken, it was okay, a nice actual cut of chicken, but the overall flavor was salty, and it wasn't as good as the lavender chicken they used to have on the menu (wish they'd bring that back!). The second night I ordered the ribeye and I didn't like it at all. Again, a nice cut of steak, cooked perfectly to order-- but the flavors were totally off-- way too much going on on the plate: green chile, blue cheese, bourbon, mustard, plus a bitter unpleasant char taste on the veggies underneath-- I found the seasoning almost inedible. I also ordered the roasted root vegetables and they were just terrible. I don't know why they were so awful but it may have been, bad, bitter tasting turnips dressed up in a sauce to try to make them taste better?, or, it may have been that the sauce itself was charred/bitter tasting. The lamb bacon that garnished it did not taste good (and was not really bacon but more like pieces of lamb fat that also had a char on them that tasted bitter and unpleasant). The best and only really good thing I ordered was the pierogi, which was delicious! Go for the pastas if you eat here, is my advice. The blue corn cavatelli (which I had for lunch another day) was also really outstanding. I did enjoy my cocktail (the RGB).

The blue corn cavatelli was absolutely delicious, but the portion size was ridiculously too small. I have a tiny appetite and wasn't even that hungry, but still couldn't believe how small the portion was for a "main entree" for $22.. I even asked the server if the kitchen had made a mistake. Please don't play the awful, chaotic jazz/swing band music, it ruined the ambiance of this lovely historic space at La Quinta for me and felt completely dissonant. I ordered a drink which came out after I was already done with the tiny sized entree, which the waitress basically blamed on the kitchen (probably should have comped it, but didn't). The waitress was also just really unpleasant: She seemed rushed and irritated that I wasn't ready to order after I had just been seated and was still reading the menu. The very first thing she said to me, after I'd only just been seated, was "Are you ready to order? I just want to get your order in before the kitchen closes"-- I felt like I was at Appleby's. I adore Los Poblanos and am a very loyal customer, but was disappointed with this lunch.

The atmosphere sitting outside is wonderful, and so was the service. The coffee was delicious. I did not care at all for the blue corn cinnamon banana pancakes. The prickly pear gelatinous ? thingies on the side were unpleasant and tasted like nothing, kind of a gimmick. The chocolate ganache was good. But the pancakes themselves were not pancakes-- they were big, thick, doughy inside, heavy, and way too rich/heavy to eat, I was only able to eat a couple bites and threw the rest away.

It was our first time in Albuquerque and this was one of the highlights. Outstanding all around!
Dinner at Campo is always special and with the new menu, this has not changed. We tried the new pork dish once and it was excellent and just to be sure, ordered again: no mistake. Superbly executed with a wonderful, tasty roast skin, a Chile sauce that is incredibly delicate. It gives the flavor of chile without overpowering, searing heat; this, with the sweet potato, compliments this dish beautifully. Zach created a wonderful margarita and his after dinner digestivo which includes fernet is simple magic. Anna and her server team are, as always, professional, friendly and menu knowledgeable. A wonderful dining experience.
An absolutely memorable visit! Hope to be back soon! Everybody at Los Poblanos, thank you so much!!
Lovely atmosphere, delicious food, and great service!
Los Poblanos is heaven in Los Ranchos! Really deserves 10 stars in each of the above rating categories!
Great service and food. Always consistently great
We could easily say Campo is the best meal in NM. It compares with high end restaurants in Vegas. We eat here at least 1 x a month. Breakfast and dinner are both exceptional
Excellent atmosphere and food.
So delicious - had trouble choosing one thing to eat!
Inventive and unique menu. Outstanding food, service and value. We are so glad we found you.
Dillon is a master of wine pairing and Graham provided a good customer experience. Thank you!
Very good. Best breakfast in town
Excellent service the atmosphere was lovely at their event center outdoor seating. I felt safe, everybody was wearing masks. I ordered the Cavatelli which was very tasty just not enough. The serving sizes are small with the pastas I have experienced.
Beautiful place to sit outside and enjoy a delicious meal.
Getting out to Los Poblanos for a meal is like a mini-vacation. Good for the soul -- lovely atmosphere, birds, mountains, lush surroundings. Thank you.
As usual breakfast is amazing. This is the best breakfast in all of New Mexico.
