Event space, eatery, bar, music venue, indoor festival park, photographic studios and location spaces.
Please note we are closed for the first two Sundays in January while our kitchen gets a refurbishment.
Food was great and quick service and helpful doggy boxes. Family from Belfast loved it. Thanks
Fabulous we will be coming back, sad there isn’t Christmas Day bookings
The atmosphere, food and drink were fantastic. Our server Natasha was very friendly, helpful and attentive. small negatives were that it took around 25 minutes for our drinks to arrive after we ordered them and the benches can become uncomfortable after sitting for a while, however everyone in our party commented how much they had enjoyed the experience overall and we will definitely be going again
Food was lovely.
I have never been so disappointed in visiting an eating establishment. I booked a table for four significantly in advance to ensure that the venue would be able to cater for the number of guests expected. When we arrived we were told there was only one item remaining on the menu. No prior notice was given and I was embarrassed by this as my guests were visiting from far away and I had spoken highly of the venue. I was also aware that some of the party I invited did not like beef (the only remaining option) but as we then had no choice we had to stay. The other members of our party were extremely unhappy with this. I am a vegetarian and there was also only one vegetarian option available, the roasted cauliflower steak. I ordered this and was dismayed when, as all meals arrived, what appeared to be a side dish of small pieces of cauliflower coated in cheese was sent to me. When I queried this with the wait staff she told me after looking at the menu, that the chef had sent out a side dish. She took this plate back and to my absolute disgust the chefs sent out the same dish, simply turned out from the bowl on to a plate! I have never felt so insulted and offended in a restaurant. No apology was offered or explanation given. I was embarrassed in front of my peers and left hungry because I literally had a side dish of cauliflower served as my main meal. It was drenched in melted cheese and practically inedible. I’d have thought that this was as bad as it could get but then the complimentary dessert offer in recompense came. The ice cream was like a glass of milk it had melted so much. I have never experienced such poor service and left the venue angry and hungry. I am so upset that this was my experience and I’d my guests who’ve never visited before. Just don’t know what else I can say expect how utterly dreadful the entire experience was.
Fabulous roast and excellent service.
The nicest roast dinner I’ve had in such a long time ! The sticky toffee pudding was delicious ! Me and my friends had a fab time :)
Food was excellent. The service was exemplary. Rosie was very pleasant and made a fuss of the kids and took her time with us. The presentation of the food was certainly different and made a unique dining experience. Only criticism was the Yorkshire puddings were a bit dry, but being a Yorkshireman I am fussy but will certainly be back again.
The waiting on staff came back on three separate occasions to advise us certain items had sold out, rather than advising us at the start what had been sold out. Further, one person found there meal un-eatable. The staff were polite throughout, and offered us a free round of drinks to compensate.
Large group for Sunday lunch, everyone loved it. great venue and great food
Amazing food, we ordered cauliflower cheese which unfortunately was forgotten about but after asking was brought straight away and took off our bill which was lovely. The Yorkshire puddings were also burnt but after mentioning a fresh platter was brought out. Everyone was extremely accommodating and friendly and we will definitely return.
Cool venue, great food.
We booked for 12 o’clock but you actually didn’t open until 1.50pm. 50 minutes is not an acceptable time to wait. We were with friends who had a 3 hour journey home ahead of them. Apart from this everything was great but I would suggest only allowing bookings from 1pm if you cannot get things ready in time. Had I know I would have booked somewhere else.
Very tasty food! Would highly recommend.
The Sunday Roasts are stunning & the staff lovely. It's a perfect place to celebrate with friends.
Good wholesome family food that can be enjoyed by all .
Great food and overall experience. Served very quickly.
Excellent food and service will be back there soon
Amazing tasty food ! A really different dining experience with a great atmosphere and lovely staff, I have recommended to lots of people already !
Father's Day sunday roast was advertised as usual roast with the world cup football on, however this was not the case the usual whole chicken for 4 for £40 was not on the menu instead all the meats were separately priced at around £15 each which was pricey for the venue itself which again did not look like it does on the firms website which shows a nice looking venue with nice tables however the ones provided looked nothing like that are were quite scruffy looking. Football was not shown in the room as advertised but in the back room so unable to watch while dining as advertisement suggested. Band was on which were good but went on many breaks. Roast itself was nice apart from the amount of chicken we got was a small breast which looked like a £1's worth from a large package not £15 worth you'd expect. Service was very good and very friendly. So some good points being the service and the band and the roast vegetables but bad points being not enough meat for your money, dining area a bit scruffy could do with some new tables to justify the price and toilets also looked as though they needed a good clean and decorating again scruffy. In my eyes a lot of false advertising going on with both the advert offerings for Father's Day itself, the price of food being different and the venue itself not looking anything like the images on the website so disappointing overall.
The waitress who served us was absolutely fabulous, I think it was em? She had a long plait in... anyway she was great.
It’s been a little while since we’ve had Sunday lunch here and it was really disappointing compared to what we’ve experienced in the past. The beef, potatoes and Yorkshire puddings were well over cooked. We let our server know and she changed it for us with no trouble but even the second batch wasn’t great. The pork belly was lovely. Also, it would be good to be able to get a child’s portion of the Sunday roast. We do love the place and we will give the roast another try but the chef was definitely having an off day yesterday!
My only complaint would be that we have been saying that we wanted to visit for so long to try the sharing chicken roast and sharing sticky toffee pudding but when we arrived we discovered that it was a special Father’s Day menu which meant these options weren’t available. At no point during the booking process or when I was contacted to confirm the booking a few days before was this communicated.
