Wished carving station cud serve better meat. Was there twice this week n twice carving station served roasted chicken. 🙄
Book table for 4adults and 1 children. Was given only table for 4 adult and have to squeeze my child in between which caused us to be very cramped. Getting up and down of the seat became difficult as it is a buffet which require to constantly getting up and down to get our food. Request to change table and was rejected rudely. Very bad experience. Will think twice before going again. Food is not really nice. Ice cream taste horrible. Not worth
I opt for free flow of red wine $38. But, not worth the money. The waiters took awhile to refilled the wine. Previously, I went to Hilton Hotel, Opus Bar & Grill, which is offering 2hrs free flow of wine as long u order the steak. They were generous, kept refilling the wine. I went Opus Bar & Grill twice.
Hot food was not hot and a lot of food very slow being replenished..we had 8 attempts to get cray tails and always empty so we never had any. Dessert range very limited.
I refer to my lunch with my girl friends on 24/May 2018. Firstly, I have repeated numerous times that I am NOT a male but you guys insisted to address me as a MR. Secondly, none of us was being greeted upon arrival except myself who’s the first one to reach. Neither did your servers provided any warm/cold water to my girlfriends. Thirdly, the cafe was surrounded by home flies all the time. Salmon sashimi was exposed to the opened air under the big sun directly. Yong Tao Foo was rotten with a sour taste. We did not expect a reputable cafe to provide such a low quality of foods. I myself got a very bad food poisoning right after taking the laksa gravy and sashimi - puked twice after dining at Cafe Swiss. The make servers in coat were not attentive at all. We had to call them several times before we get our tea and coffee served after the meal. Appreciate if someone can provide an explanation on the above mentioned.
Thank you for the fast response in confirming my reservation. however good if staff can share there are other bigger group(s) and hence we are given the tables kinda far from buffet table and was not able to get immediate/almost immediate response from service staff. The soup is too too salty, way below my expectation compared from my last visit. The refill was not prompt as well and for the laksa station, should have Chef/Commis to mend the counter. Waiting time long and chaotic as we realized there were no bowls upon reaching the station.
Overall is good
Prompt service despite a almost full restaurant
not much variety
With the OCBC promotion of 50%, I think is fairly reasonable price. I am celebrating for my mother's birthday, and they offer a complimentary slice of cake with wordings, I think is really kind service I am looking for. The lighting there was quite dim, atmosphere can be better. There is only 1 small table share among 4 of us which is way to squeezey. The clearing of plates wasn't that frequent too.
We ate about once a month or 2 months .but tis time Friday was disappointing , the food variety had been reduced . No more sushi , only salmon sashimi. No roast beef /lamb/ ham . Was roast chicken . Only 2 Fruits - dragon fruit and honeydew. Ur staff service good .
Good food..value for money!
The dinner buffet at Cafe Swiss is of the best (if not the best) buffets I ever had. Awesome spread without compromising food quality, with prompt and attentive service, everyone on the table is thoroughly impressed. Many thanks to Cafe Swiss for the fantastic dinner buffet!
Needs better lighting
Limited variety of selection. Disappointing.
Overall it was a good experience and I'm happy with it, but I would like to point out few that could improve. 1. The pricing I received at the booking confirmation was different on the actual day. It had a special discount for Mother's day. It turned out to be cheaper, but if I knew in advance, our friends might have been interested to join. 2. Staff did not seem to know what's on buffet. I asked if there's chicken rice as I could not find it first, but they had no idea so I had to walk around some more. 3. Kids playground was the reason we chose the venue, but it was rather small and thus chaotic. If planning a 'family brunch', you would expect a lot of families and kids. that area is not big enough to accommodate the number of kids. Also, it definitely needs more play structures other than the tiny bouncy castle. What you need is another structure, maybe with slide, so if the bigger kids are bouncing hard on the tiny bouncy castle, smaller ones can still enjoy slides etc on other structure. My son (3 year old) just wanted to go down the slide attached to the bouncy castle, but the bigger kids were bouncing so hard that he eventually got injured.
A lot of beef on the menu but quite ok as the beef menu is quite nice. Seafood can still be improve.
All were great!
Although it one for one , but i feel it still not up to standard for example the marshmallow was missing despite having the fondue, only 2 types of fruit is present, n not told we can order twg tea at no additional cost
The restaurant seem to be understaff that day, with lesser staff to take the plates, refill the dishes etc.
Food selection is good and fresh. We were served by Darren Loh and he had demonstrated great customer service throughout the 2 hrs we were there. Overall, great experience for our 1st trip to this dining place.
Tiffany is one of the staff in charge of my area and she is very helpful and cheerful. As i have small children, Tiffany is careful when helping out at my table.
Made a dinner buffet reservation for 2 on 10th May 2018, recept was nice, helpful and provide info over the phone booking. Upon reaching Swiss Cafe, was warmly welcome by reception and he show us to our table. Food spread was okay, not a lot of selections but was just nice for us. Overall we had a wonderful dinner at Swiss Cafe and lastly many thanks for the warm welcome and wonderful services. Definitely be back again..
2nd visit. Disappointed at the poor variety and non existence of oysters. If not for the 50% discount, it I’d not worth the value. Will not go anymore.
