About Cafe Hampstead
Cafe Hampstead is bringing Tel Aviv cafe cuisine with Israeli and Galilee influences to this part of North London. Cafe Hampstead is a trendy neighbourhood restaurant, serving locally sourced foods with a unique cocktail selection and great wines at very affordable prices. We want to create a unique space for everyone to enjoy whether it's a quick lunch, to a coffee with your laptop to a nice friendly dinner in the evening.
We absolutely love Cafe Hampstead, incredibly delicious food, super nice staff in a beautiful and cozy ambience!
So happy this place has opened in Hampstead. Love the bright room and cosy feel. Food is excellent. Service need to improve. We had to wait to be served and than they got our order completely wrong. Twice they brought us food we never ordered but to their credit they let us eat it and didnt charge us for the extra food which was delicious.
We were a party of 8 and were given a table that could seat a maximum of 6 people. I booked the table over two months ago so there was plenty of time to allocate a suitable table. The food was very tasty but our evening was ruined by our party being cramped, squashed and uncomfortable. We were advised to order less food as there was not enough room on the table to put the dishes!!! Hardly a nice way to spend a Saturday night. Even after we complained about the situation we were not offered even the smallest gesture of goodwill with money off the bill or any sort of recompense. Extremely disappointed.
all fine - bright airy restaurant with varied menu
Came on mother’s day, was told no Diet Coke as was a big party night before. Staff were arguing infront of us and was all very unprofessional. I brought my Mum here and felt very embarrassed.
Decor is lovely but the service was only ok considering it’s new and pricey. They made us move to a 2 person table for 3 of us and the food/drink didn’t arrive at the same times
Great lamb Ragu. Amazing aubergine and just gorgeous food. Lovely atmosphere and nice service. Defiantly going back! Fab chocolate mousse too! 10/10!!
Lovely lunch. Starters and mains all arrived at the same time . Will be back . Would cut the tuna smaller before searing
Tasty interesting food and excellent service.
So excited to have this new option in Hampstead. I will certainly go back with friends soon!
My only Criticism was very Bitter coffee - sadly
Loved it! Delicious food and great service. However gave 4 stars as root veg were underdone and caraf of House red was full of ‘dregs’.
great evening thank you
Pleasure to visit
great decor, superb food however menu could be more comprehensive
We really loved Cafe Hampstead. The food is very tasty and I liked most of the choices on the menu. The atmosphere is stylish and lively at the same time. I love the decor and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The prices are reasonable considering the surroundings. It is just what we need in Hampstead/Belsize Park. I am looking forward to trying the very stylish looking cocktail bar upstairs and so will be back soon.
The place has potential - Strange menu but the chicken escalope was fine - limited deserts - nice waiter - very cold - despite temporary heaters - pricing ok - but we couldn’t work out what type of food they were trying to promote - would I rush back there - probably not - would I go back there - yes but needs a wider selection - I hope they do well
Fantastic - the food was exceptional and all your staff were very friendly. A really great new addition to Hampstead.
Very enjoyable evening, great service and atmosphere. Some wrinkles to iron out in a new business but will be returning.
We were greeted by The maitre de who was rather loud but she was friendly as were the rest of the staff. The food was very good!!
Food was truly delicious - good portions and great value. I would try and emphasize the Tel Aviv and Middle Eastern vibe a little bit more with a few more dishes and especially desserts.
Chicken steak pargit was lovely but was too small portion for the price. Manageress was too loud.
