Romy is a fantastic waiter. He always takes fantastic care of us and treats us like family. He is really a treasure! This restaurant is such a fantastic dining experience, it is a real gem in the neighborhood! I hope to see it last for many years!
Everything we ordered was excellent (particularly the duck) and our waiter was great. It was a birthday dinner and they treated us very well!
An outstanding dining experience!
Nice food presentation.
Our dining experience was quite enjoyable Wait staff friendly and attentive Overall experience was very good Breakfast the next morning was more a disappointment making our weekend stay balancing out to be above average still but not great
Service, atmosphere, and drinks were great. Food was hit or miss. We really enjoyed the halibut, but didn't care much for the duck or foie gras. The sides for each dish were ok, but not great.
We went for the Gote de France dinner. it was excellent.
Visited CDA for restaurant week, so I already tempered my expectations going into the evening. That being said, my experience was sub-par. The food and drinks were okay, not bad, not great. But the service was poor. My girlfriend and I waited 20 minutes before someone took our drink order and then another 15 minutes before we received our drinks. The odd thing was that CDA was not that crowded, there were plenty of open tables and there seemed to be plenty of servers. We were only able to get two drinks each the entire night due to slow service. Then we got the impression that we should leave as we finished our meal and did not have a server come by for another 30 minutes. Very disappointed in the overall service and the wait times for drinks. It should not take 20+ minutes to make two drinks or 15+ minutes to pour 2 glasses of wine when an establishment is half full.
Service and food were great. We did the tasting menu. Austin the sous chef came out to our table and asked what we liked. Then let the games begin. Seven courses with wine. Unbelievably good. Highly recommended.
LOVED THIS LUNCH SO MUCH! I will definitely be back!
Can't wait to go back.
Would definitely return for Lunch. Want to try dinner.
Beautiful ambiance and welcoming service with great food. Loved it.
entrees were too salty butternut squash soup with duck confit was amazing cocktails were overpriced room was nice
Great Reataurant week menu and beautiful restaurant!
Food was fantastic. Service was perfect - attentive but readily available.
Always short of staff... Great place overall!
The restaurant offers a true French cuisine experience. The food is always excellent and has very innovative pairings. We visit Paris quite frequently and Café des Architectes favorably compares with Paris dining.
The service was incredible, the food was delicious. Remind us why we love Paris. We will definitely come back.
Way to expensive drinks..
My favorite restaurant in Chicago!!!!! I celebrated my birthday there this past Friday and everything was absolutely delightful! The desserts are a magnificent chapter aside! I wish you return the "beef bavette" dish that used to be my ultimate experience in past years... I will definitely go back again and again!!!
very uninviting atmosphere...Felt like I was in a diner..They were setting out jelly for the morning while we were eating dinner..Very unprofessional..
Only negative is that we came with Travelzoo voucher after having eaten here before and were told we have to go off of a different menu outside of the regular one. We did not want anything off of that menu. This was not specified in the voucher. The restaurant did ultimately let us choose what we want.
Helene was fabulous!
