About Button Street Smokehouse
Deep South goes 'urban'.
Fantastic as always! Visited Liverpool last year and ate with you guys. Had to rebook again for our visit again this time. Great food! No doubt see us again soon.
Lack of staff in kitchen meant meals took ages and long waits between courses. Front of house did as best they could. In fairness they we’re fighting fire it was a no win situation for them. Management need to up there game and ensure correct resources are available.
Amazing food and amazing service
the restaurant was empty when we arrived which should have been a warning sign. The service was by far the worst i have experienced. The waitress was rude and slow and made us feel like we were annoying her by being there. In fact all the staff seemed like they preferred to chat among themselves than deal with customers. The manager stood over us while we were still eating waiting for us to pay our bill and then snapped the cash from my friends hand as she walked up to pay. Some of the food was okay, but most of it was inedible. Not smokehouse quality. Do not waste any time or money going here.
Fabulous staff made sure all our need were met very friendly. Food was faultless and very reasonable priced. My only down side which is at no fault don't be smokehouse is the boom boom of the club next door coming through the walls and over poweing their own music.
Only giving atmosphere a lower score due to the place being empty however it was a Monday so nothing to do with the restaurant itself! Food was delicious and staff were really welcoming
Mysigt ställe med bra mat
Fantastic service and food for a group of 16 girls on a hen do!
Contacted Chris at the Smokehouse as we where a little late. Made very welcome on arrival; good choice of drinks and cocktails although I only had beer (pre Theatre meal), food was piping hot and delicious!
Great food at a decent price
Loved the food Ribs and steak were fantastic thoroughly enjoyed.
Place was much more than expected and food was great. Staff where very friendly and helpful. Will defo return on my next visit to Liverpool
Went for valentines night with my girlfriend an it was lovely
Really tasty food
Awful place to eat Unbelievably overpriced Extreemly small portions Food quality poor at best The motto for the restaurant is come hungry leave happy, Came hungry and left extremely disapointed and still hungry, I would compare the quality of food to that out of a microwave packet, and thats being kind. Made a complaint to the lad that brought us our bill and was told that near enough everything we ordered is “normally hit and miss” sometimes good sometimes bad we get alot of complaints about these”, if thats the case you would think they would change suppliers to one thats always a hit not a miss? Again would avoid this place and advise others to do so also.
Food was gorgeous and a great place but unfortunately the service was very poor. We were sat for about 15 minutes when we arrived before anybody came to take our drinks order. Then another 10 minutes before our food order was taken. There was a long wait between courses too. Was disappointed with our 1st visit here! 😣
The food and the waiting was great BUT we got served with 1hour and half delay...no discount or apologies after such a long wait....
Such a lovely time for our sons birthday on Sunday. Highly recommend 👌 food was amazing and so much of it for the small price. Will definitely be vising again
We had a 50% voucher the value for money was fabulous.
Restaurant was very cold we had to keep our coats on. Meal was very nice while using a 50% off voucher we found you did not honour the drinks deal of buy one get one half price for beer or wine which we purchased when asking the server said that it should of been explained at the start.
Restaurant very quiet but still had to chase up staff for drinks orders. Very slow to collect plates after eating. Had to wait til 11.20 and chase up the dessert part of our set menu.
We attended Button Street Smokehouse because I had a voucher for 50% off the food bill. We arrived at happy hour, which made the drink price reasonable. Our starter was lovely but the main course was awful. The steak was over cooked and my hot dog was unpleasant. I'm sure we just had a bad experience however I won't be revisiting.
waited 45mins for our drinks and got them after asking again with 5 starters. we had to ask the chef for our other starters. there were 8 adults and we asked for 2 separate bills but received one.4 people ordered ribs which were a bit dry. 2 of our friends go quite often but not sure if they will go again, we won't.
Ribs were absolutely discusting. Never seen fat on ribs like that before, anywhere in my 51 years of life. Burger was like mush. Horrible. Not a complainer but had no choice on this occasion. Shouldn’t have had to pay for anything. Only ribs knocked off the bill. Will not go back and will tell everyone to avoid like the plague.
