About The Butterfly and The Pig
We take pride in making basic foods, delicious and well presented; from the humble burger, served with home made mayonnaise and hand cut chips to our signature ‘open’ fishcake dish, presented in a Le Creuset pan, packed with potato and salmon, and a creamy egg oozing through.
The unique interior of the Butterfly and the Pig is best described as welcoming, shabby chic, vintage country. Our mismatched furniture and wallpaper give the Butterfly and the Pig a real comfort during the daytime, while eclectic resident bands and DJs ensure a more lively atmosphere later on.
The ambiance of the Butterfly and the Pig makes for a pleasant haven from the hustle and bustle of the street; somewhere to enjoy a quick lunch and a drink, or a leisurely dinner. Our food is excellent quality and prepared fresh on the premises every day.
Thanks for a lovely evening.
Food was well cooked and delicious
Great meal, really friendly place. Will definitely be back.
Very nice place and we liked the food.

Good value and service. Popular with all age groups.
We had a lovely afternoon tea, we were served beautiful home baked food and were provided with boxes to take away the food we couldn't eat. Great experience. Staff we're great, room was lovely and fab value. Thank you
Fantastic meal out, great atmosphere.
Came for afternoon tea, best value I could find in Glasgow, even after comparing voucher deals. Great service and loads of lovely food, even got a doggy bag to take home! Will definitely be back.
What a brilliant place, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. All of the staff are really friendly and attentive. Be prepared for large portions! Will definitely come back again (can’t wait!) and recommend to all my family and friends.
One of the best Sunday Roast I have ever had! Lovely atmosphere in a quirky restaurant, quick efficient service and amazing food. Roast Beef was to die for!
I adore an afternoon in the pub downstairs with family....only point id like to make is more veggi options could be available on THAT menu...i have ordered from the Tea Rooms menu in the past which has more choice for me(& have never been disappointed as always delicious!)...but a few more 'hearty' options on bar menu would be appreciated. ☺
Excellent staff, but you are limited to the time you are given so understandably they are keen to take your order. The portions were large, I think to reduce waste a little less could be put on the plates. Food was tasty.
Excellent service and fab gluten free food
This is simply a great place to have afternoon tea. The food was great and flavorful. Ginger cake was lovely. Had a bunch to take back to the hotel with us. Just loved it!
Great food and great value for money in a great quirky place, definitely be back for another visit next time I am in Glasgow and will highly recommended to friends.
Had dinner several times and this visit was for afternoon tea. Staff always welcoming, lovely surroundings and food excellent. Will definitely be back
Wonderful choice for afternoon tea, thank goodness they do doggy bag for later!
