Welcome to the award winning Butchershop Bar & Grill – proud to source and serve only the very best of dry-aged, grass fed Scotch beef; whiskies; world wines and signature cocktails.
By working closely with our fourth generation butchers we have a second to none selection of cuts both on and off the bone to suit everyone’s palate.
Combining the hustle and bustle of Manhattan, superb Scottish beef, excellent service and a high energy atmosphere, The Butchershop is the ultimate dining experience in Glasgow’s West End.
loved everything about this lovely restaurant but was really annoyed by the awful background music .
Exceptional as always! Thank you Steph for being attentive to each member of our party!
Great restaurant for steak! Delicious would recommend a visit.
Great as always, good value, great food and never disappoints, each time I visit.
Never disappointed when I visit always high standards across the board. Only place for steak as far as I’m concerned 5🌟always.
Fantastic service on Sunday afternoon and delicious roast! Will definitely return
Possibly reduce size of onion ring side portions and increase vegetable side size slightly
We opted for the lunch/pre theatre menu and it was really great value for money. The food was fantastic and the staff were friendly. The only criticism would be when we arrived we were told we had to leave our table 15 mins earlier than expected so felt a bit rushed.
Drinks expensive and wouldn't say super fancy to justify the price but food abso amazing!!! Really enjoyed ourselves. Will be back! Service great. Didn't wait long on food. Staff nice and explained what's what.
Amazing as always favourite place ever for dinner
We celebrated our first anniversary and had a lovely evening with excellent food and service. The chateaubriand was amazing! Plus the added surprise of a ‘happy anniversary’ cheesecake from the restaurant! We hope to come again soon!
Celebrating a birthday. 1st time there. Staff very knowledgeable about their products. Food was well presented but more importantly portion sizes where good and the food was excellent. Steaks were both excellent. Nice wee birthday cake too which was a nice touch and much appreciated.
Unfortunately the restaurant was cold on the afternoon we visited on what was a freezing cold day . Service was good
Absolutely fantastic meal, so refreshing to actually get what you ordered and get it cooked to perfection. Super impressed. Can’t wait to go back
Love the butcher shop. Best steak restaurant in Glasgow. The chateaubriand is my favourite the best Iv tasted yet. The atmosphere is lovely and romantic 💗💗
Delicious steak! So flavour some. Will be back for a special occasion.
Fantastic evening with delicious food and wine. The steak and blue cheese butter were mouthwatering. We will be back the next time we are in Glasgow.
Loved our meal, great food and service. Special place.
Didn't have any of the Chilean Chardonnay left so were convinced to buy the SA more expensive alternative from False Bay ; very good but £65. Think the wine list needs some thought . Food good as always
Went out for dinner with some old friends to catch up had a nice warm greeting at the door cant mind our waiter but he was also really nice and helpful. Food was amazing only problem was the price you pay and you only get one side with your steak we left the restaurant still hungry.Didn't think it was great value for money spent £150 plus 10%tip dont get me wrong we said we could go back but not in a hurry.
As always a great experience. The Asian pan fried Brussel Sprouts are a must have side, with any steak.
1st time here and I will definitely be back. The staff were excellent and their service was too. I had a steak and could not fault it one bit, it was excellent and even though I like it well done it was cooked to perfection . A bit pricey so not somewhere I would go every week but certainly for a treat every now and then .
We were asked to sit at the bar and wait, not a problem but the sat us at the class collectors area. The waiters did know much and were very rude, went with only half the order and I had to call over another waiter. Plate was dirty. Steak wasn’t cooked to our order. Knifes were blunt. Waiter asked me for coffee and walked away without asking my wife. Waiter literally dumped our coats on us. Honestly, not a good experience at all !
