About Burger Shed 41
We are a US inspired UK take on a classic New York burger joint in an industrial meets vintage interior. We serve locally sourced brisket & skirt burgers alongside the best hot dogs, milk shakes & craft beers. We are a restaurant with table service, however a take away service is also available.
We love coming to Burger Shed! Food is always delicious and they have some great deals. Cool, cosy and quirky!
I love this place, ace.
This was my first visit to Burger Shed 41 and the food was amazing! We'll definitely be back to sample some more.
Fabulous meal. So filling great for gluten free and service was perfect! I’ll definitely be back.
Staff were friendly and attentive, the food was excellent
Amazing service and lovely atmosphere! Food was unbelievable Will 100% be returning soon!
As a friday treat we , two adults and 3 kids, desided to try burgers at this place, we have never been before. From all burger places we have eaten at, this is nothing too special. No desent size tables for family of five. Menu- why woul burger come withought french fries? You have to chose french fries from a seperately priced list. For dessert kids ordered milkshakes, which were tasty, but the song that came after the milkshakes were served - "my milkshake is better then yours, i could teach you, but i have to charge"- was not necessary at all at was akward. Not a place for us to come back, unfortunatelly.
Having spent many years going to Hickorys Smokehouse i thought I'd give this place a whirl. I'm happy I did. The burgers are lovely in fact they feel much more homemade than the place down the road. The crinkle cut fried were a lovely touch. I'd happily recommend and return to this restaurant.
PROS - Lovely waitress who was eager to act on any issues. Burgers were cooked correctly and juicy and brioche buns were very soft/fresh. Brisket balls were a great idea and very tasty. Music was great and matched the theme well, created a nice atmosphere. CONS - Overpriced for what we received. Made special order of extra items to be added to burger and they weren't on the burger when it arrived. The extra items however were still on the bill. No clear front of house/didn't have a great presence when entering the restaurant as it was very quite and staff weren't quick to greet you. Burgers were of average taste, nothing special to really write home about. Slow service to clear plates/bring the bill over when we were clearly finished as drinks were empty and we had already stacked our plates. Courgette fries were the biggest serving on the 'sharing platter' and seemed to be more of a filler as they only tasted like the fryer they had been sat in and were very soggy. After eating in actual NY burger joints it was always going to be difficult to live up to that same platform but with a few tweaks it could be very close. I'm a firm believer we should be supporting independent businesses like this one but overpricing and overlooking smaller details has deterred me from a revisit. Hopefully they improve in the future as I'd love to see this place thrive, nothing much else like it in the nearby area so far so they have a market to jump on.
Very friendly staff , great service ,food was excellent.
I found it weird having wine in a tumbler, I understand your trying to create a certain mood/theme/atmosphere but enjoying a glass of wine is part of the experience of eating out. Also I am gluten free, I did expect a gluten free bread roll with my burger and not the low carb, dieters option of lettuce leaf. No trades description broken it was indeed gf; and perhaps it helps sell the gf brownie for dessert as we need filling up.
Bit quite although it was a Tuesday. Food very nice but hard to get rid of the smell of cooking from my clothes.
Great food, atmosphere and service. I was there on throwback Thursday so the music was spot on as well Great value for money, highly recommend
Always fab, tasty burgers and sides. Great value and atmosphere.
Thouroughly enjoyable evening meal with prompt and friendly service. Craft beer a little expensive.
The online reservation confirmation was received and I confirmed the reservation however when I arrived at the restaurant they had no knowledge of my booking
I came here for my birthday as i am a burger fanatic but unfortunately the experience didn't live up to expectations. The burger was ok, the beef patty was good but far too much mayo/lettuce under the burger that the bun fell apart. It took away all the burger taste, all you could taste of this spiced mayo sadly. The avocado side was old, brown, bits of avocado peel/skin and the stalk too and the "slaw" was just sour pickled red cabbage, not 'slaw at all. Finally the crinkle chips were chewy and stale. I asked for a replacement and they were a bit better but overall they're very poor chips; thin, no potato and chewy. I can't comment on the other options of chips. In terms of the restaurant it too didn't have much going for it. The front door is broken so was in a draught the whole time as it didn't close and before leaving my wife visited the toilets but noticed it was broken too and she was unable to flush. Also not ideal to see the chef busy in his own clothes leaving the restaurant and then back in the kitchen. On the positive side, the waiter was very friendly and the milkshake was bang on. I have been to many burger places e.g. Gourmet Burger Kitchen and was looking for something on a par with that but it just didn't tick the boxes i'm afraid.
