About Burger & Beyond
Burger favourites Burger & Beyond are opening doors to their first restaurant on Shoreditch High Street that will bring their signature buns to a permanent site for the very first time, as well as a new expanded menu.
In keeping with their current residencies at KERB, Street Feast and Camden Assembly, the brand’s burgers and sides, honed after three and a half years in the business, will take centre stage. ‘Drinking snacks’ and ‘Small Plates’ will show the team’s creative side alongside a list of crafted cocktails and drinks.
Diners can choose from a selection of drinking snacks such as Chicken skin and Bread with bone marrow butter, and a range of small plates including Shaved rib cap with anchovy butter; Deep fried lamb nuggets with a burnt onion dip; and Mushrooms, cured egg yolk with lardo on toast. Burger & Beyond fans will be excited to hear of new additions on the burger list including Fried Hot Fish (crispy line caught cod, Nashville hot sauce, kaffir lime herb mayo, crunch slaw and pickles); Krispie Fried Chicken (Rice Krispie fried chicken, miso maple butter and ranch pickle slaw) and Mushroom Raclette (panko crusted mushroom patty, melted raclette, caramelised onion, lambs lettuce and smoked garlic mayo) which will sit alongside aged beef burgers for which Burger & Beyond are known.
Sides are by no means an after-thought with new additions such as Fries, bone marrow gravy and cheese; and Truffle tots. A concise dessert offering will also be available with a choice of a couple of sweets including Deep fried blueberry pie, clotted cream ice cream. “We are thrilled to be opening our first restaurant in Shoreditch, the location is perfect and the design brings our vision to life. The restaurant will showcase a different side to Burger & Beyond whilst staying true to the foundations of our brand, something that is not always possible within the constraints of the street food market.”
Please contact the restaurant for bookings larger than 10pax.
Best burgers we’ve had since arriving in the UK! A little bit pricier than other burgers places but rightfully so if you want more than your regular burger. The burgers we had were epic, patties cooked perfectly (lightly pink & juicy) & those ‘Dirty Tots’ were amazing. Just moved around the corner so will be back for ‘The Bougie Burg’ 🤙🏽
Superb customer service, all the staff very friendly and checked in on us all the time. And I appreciated it more so as they could of got carried away with service as the restaurant was busy. But they all managed to give us a great experience. Will deffo be returning with friends and family
Waitress on Sat night was lovely and very informative. Enjoyed the experience. Food was great. Dirty tots weren’t as nice as thought they’d be given waitress has recommended them. Everything else was great.
Food was fantastic, service a little slow but to be fair it was busy.
Tater tots - OMG
Better burger in London.
I love the burgers at Camden Market. I loved my Bougie Burger but I really thought it was very expensive.
Some of best burgers I have eaten. And Dirty Tots were divine.
Burgers were great and the starters we had tasted amazing. Highly recommend the shaved rib cap to start and the Bougie Burg for mains. Drinks were well priced and good selection too. Will def be back soon.
Best burger that i had ever taste! But it would be good includes the fries on the price of the burger.
Bit overpriced for what it was. The food was lovely but quite small for the price of it
Brilliant service, staff are great and food is amazing. Highly recommend !
Good food and drink amazing burgers friendly staff needs more choice on the menu and a not very child friendly but apart from that decent would highly recommend
Absolutely a great place to meet friends, date night or if your just hungry after work! The food is out of this world, the staff are brilliant and the location is great! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!
Food and Drink: Drinks were great, both the Punch and Old Fashioned were nice versions of classics. Starters were fantastic, nuggets and croquettes both great flavours with perfect dips. Burgers were a bit disappointing, couldn't cook medium rare, and felt a bit lacking. The basic tots and fries were forgettable, but the Dirty versions were fantastic. Service Were only told which items were not available when we tried to order them, and ended up waiting around 20 minutes for starters due to a mix up, though were offered a round of drinks to make up for it.. Had to ask for cutlery and never offered any sauces or condiments. Atmosphere Brilliant soundtrack and lovely chic design, tables a bit close together though. Value for money Given the burger market is pretty competitive in London, for £16 a burger needs to be pretty special, and didn't think it quite justified the price tag.
Very limited menu when I went. Wrong order was brought out at first. Very overpriced for burger and chips. Average food.
Tom and Goran took care of us spectacularly and we couldn't ask for more. Will definitely be back when all is up to speed.
Best burger in London
It was a lovely evening, recommended by Jakes Food Bible on Insta. Shame about the service (had to ask for everything from water to the bill and then to the actual card machine after 10 mins waiting). Also the waiter took away my drink before I was done, he didn’t ask instead he just whipped past and took it off the table without a word which was very odd. Food was amazing, really enjoyed that side of things.
La comida estaba excelente pero al momento de servir, la camarera derramó la mitad de mi trago. Me pidió disculpas pero no reemplazó lo derramado. Me quedé bastante molesta.
Food was amazing cannot wait to come back!
The food was pricey for what it is. Additional to this there was no sides included to the burgers.
The food was excellent and so were the cocktails. The people were friendly too! The only suggestions I would have is to sell the boogie burger as a single or double too like the others and if sold as a single (which you did for me on this occasion) try and use half the sauce as it was so wet! Also in the midst of discussing if you could do a single patty or not you forgot to ask me how I wanted it cooked and so it came out medium which was way too raw for me. A simple mistake that to be honest I know if I had asked you would have corrected so I wasn’t overly concerned. All in all I really enjoyed it and will be coming back to get the rib cap and fish burger next time (and possibly chicken too!!). I’m looking forward to you getting another desert option on the menu too although the blueberry pie was delish!!
