About Bull & Ram Belfast
Bull & Ram Belfast is situated in the vibrant Queen’s Quarter of Belfast, the sister restaurant to the award-winning Bull & Ram housed in an Edwardian butcher’s shop in Ballynahinch, County Down. Now in the bustling heart of Belfast, we are committed to staying true to what we do best, serving the best quality meat & locally sourced produce.
We are proud to be serving Glenarm Shorthorn beef, dry-aged in Himalayan salt, a Great Taste Award Supreme Champion & dual gold winner at the World Taste Challenge, and which is, in our opinion, the best beef to be found. Our oysters, farmed on the shores of Killough, County Down are delivered fresh daily. Perfect with a cold pint of Guinness or Bloody Mary made with our own jalapeño ketchup! And as for Sundays, our ‘Toast to the Roast’ celebrates Sunday lunch where it’s all about roast beef & lamb.
Set over two floors, diners can enjoy unique, innovative cocktails made using the finest ingredients as well as local artisan beers & gins in a 1930s décor complete with luxurious, snug booths, brass fittings & marble-topped bars.
Great staff and great food. Class tunes playing in the background creates a nice vibe throughout the place. Really handy place for tea before visiting QFT
Will definitely be back
Service was fantastic. We were very warmly greeted and made to feel so welcome. Bartender had a great personality and the knowledge to go with it! He recommended cocktails and wine very well..and nothing was too much trouble. Food was amazing! Everything cooked to perfection..just wish I had room for dessert!
We had a brilliant time and the service was professional and warm. We really appreciated the ease with which you served us mocktails as well as cocktails, they were both delicious! Thankyou! The pre theatre menu which was brilliant quality and all three courses were in power- a rarity to find! Thanks !
Food was nice, thought my steak may have been a bad cut but that happens so not going to go on about that, everything tasted lovely and well seasoned, was recommended a good red to go with my dinner but thought it was a bit pricey although the meal itself was excellent value and sitting out in the sun was a treat.
Super waiting staff. Nothing was a problem. Really good with our 2 girls. Food was amazing - best Sunday roast in the country.
My wife ate the Shoulder of lamb starter whilst I had the Rabbit Terrine which was served with some chutney, pickled veg and a crispy egg which was a nice touch and perfectly cooked. This was followed by two fillet steaks, plus a desert of Panna Cotta. Very nice!
This restaurant never fails, it's such a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The food is excellent, cannot find any flaws. Service is fantastic, quick and efficient.
A wonderful meal - superb steak - can't fault it. Perhaps some lower priced quality house wines could be offered. A lovely meal and great service - helpful but not intrusive and well informed. Highly recommend.
Excellent experience, will be back!
Staff lovely and food beautiful (although the sunday roast beef was a little fattier than I would have liked). Cocktail menu is excellent. Will definitely be back.
Fantastic food and great service. Will definitely be back.
Good but lacking atmosphere
Good was fantastic, perfectly cooked steaks and amazing starters. Would definitely recommend. I'll be eating there again
Great night had by all
Great night with superb service and food! Thank you
Excellent food, Very attentive staff. Great ambience.
Superb service and food! Will be back for sure
Okay - so the meal was excellent and huge. That's one of two minor complaints. I would personally like a smaller steak option - perhaps a 6oz sirloin? Also they mention on the website about "Our oysters, farmed on the shores of Killough, County Down are delivered fresh daily. Perfect with a cold pint of Guinness or Bloody Mary made with our own jalapeño ketchup!" but nowhere on the menu!!!! Wha?
£28 for a bottle of Ned I think is rediculously over priced.
Excellent as usual. Cocktails tad expensive at £9 each but apart from that all good !
One of the best restaurants in Belfast!
Had a fantastic lunch here with a foodie friend. The lunch menu is short but every dish a winner. I had the bone marrow and caramelized onions on ciabatta toast. Yum. This was followed by a very flavoursome name with lemon, parsley and tomato sauce flavoured with chorizo. It was divine. No room for dessert. The staff are friendly and efficient without being annoying. Another lovely meal at Bull and Ram.
