Food & cocktails. Inspired by the flavours of the Eastern Med.
Beautiful food. Friendly service. We had a great Sunday afternoon. The Bloody Buba was particularly good!
The 6 of us had lunch today here, most of them hadn’t been before. Because a lot of us were unfamiliar with the food, we asked the waitress to order on our behalf. I think we had practically everything on the menu - and it was all excellent. Particular favourites were the meze and the the halloumi. Everything tasted fresh, beautiful flatbread also. Attentive and professional service. Extensive vegan menu also (although we didn’t try that). Highly recommended if you like small plates approach to dining. Will definitely be back.
The food was amazing and we had a great evening celebrating a birthday. Will definitely be back.
My partner and I came for dinner, as I grew up eating lebanese and African food I have good knowledge of the cuisine and how the menu is set. I ordered the vegan mezze platter being told that it was based on two people sharing I thought that the portion sizes would be decent. My partner ordered the chicken wings and the salmon. The mezze platter was not as expected, usually when I have a mezze platter the portions of hummus, babaganoush and harissa are a lot bigger and you get more bread and falafels along with mixed salads with pomegranates tomatoes etc and maybe even tabbouleh. The hummus was OK but nothing spectacular and the babaganoush was a bit boring, the only exciting thing is that the olives were pitted. My partners chicken wings were bland and lacked flavour and the salmon was very small based on the price, for a full portion of salmon you would pay around £11-£14 for 200g. So paying £10 for a small portion of salmon with a bit of hummus really doesn't live up to the standards expected. The nicest thing about the whole meal was the morrocan iced tea. This is the first restaurant that we have been to in a very long time that we both left feeling hungry and that we had spent far too much money already on four items to order anything else. I eat at a lot of similar restaurants in London, comptoir being one of the best so far, and have not paid that much considering London is supposedly more expensive for eating out than Northern Ireland. The staff were also not very attentive. Will not be back!
Great food in a great atmosphere!
Fantastic food and love the smaller plates so I could try lots of things on the menu!
Great date night, lovely atmosphere and delicious small plates!
First time I’d been and was very impressed. Food was delicious, service was excellent and atmosphere and decor great. Will definitely be back.
Delicious food, great service we will definitely be back! Between 2 of us we tried a few different dishes, the spiced lamb, the buba slaw and the hummus were particularly good, cocktails were a lovely accompaniment too.
Something different. Caters for all including vegans and those who don’t want to drink alcohol but enjoy a range of non alcoholic beverages such as non alcoholic cocktails.
Love the food and the variety of dishes . Caters for gluten free and vegan.
Food was delicious and staff were lovely. Would definitely return!
Love Buba! Fantastic food as always and staff are brilliant. Can’t wait to go back again.
Really delicious food and a good price!! Great service too!
Fantastic food, we haven't stopped talking about it all day. Belfast really needed a place like Buba. Male staff member was very informative regarding the menu and rushed off his feet! We would definitely eat at Buba again, asap!
amazing food. Good service
This was our first time in Buba and we will definitely be back! The food was amazing, very reasonable and staff were very friendly and helpful. Cocktails are definitely worth a try too!!
Delicious food and drinks, great service, knowledgable staff, great atmosphere. Will be back.
I was really looking forward to using my birthday voucher here after hearing very good reviews. However, found it all a little underwhelming. The food was pretty good, but portions were a bit strange. A lot of dips and hardly any bread which I guess is to get you to order more bread. The service wasn't great either. Staff were nice enough, but not overly attentive which is important in this kind of restaurant in which you order small plates as and when you need them. The atmosphere wasn't particularly friendly or welcoming and they reminded us a couple of times that the table was needed again in 2 hours. Usually middle eastern food is the kind you could spend hours over but Buba didn't really give us that vibe
Awesome as always
Lovely food, drinks and service! Highly recommended, our favourite place in Belfast
Such a lovely restaurant
