About Brutti Compadres
Nestled in a small, secretive courtyard in the historical area of Glasgow’s Merchant City, Brutti Compadres is built on the site of the original tobacco exchange.
Our cafe bar serves all day food, continental draught lagers, great wines, inventive cocktails and fine italian coffee. We aim to provide our customers with tasty small plates of mediteranean holiday style flavours. All this served to you by naturally friendly, helpful staff in our soft industrial, mediteranean style cafe bar.
Been here a couple time and the service is great staff are so friendly and helpful will definitely be back
A hidden gem of a place. Everything was spot on!
Fantastic food, great venue we all loved it! Thank you
Great lunch with an old friend
Spent pleasant afternoon here with family and friends. Food very good. Enjoyed the barber shop group entertainment. Definitely be back.
As always a fabulous lunch, served by amazing staff!

Had a very enjoyable evening with great cocktails lovely food and friendly attentive staff.
Have to confess that we have been returning to 'Compadres' for many years and with different groups of friends. Always a big welcome, great service and atmosphere that replicates a bit of the 'continent' in the heart of Glasgow.
Service good. Food tasty. Warm ambiance. Recommend to friends. Outside sitting area lovely and sheltered on a sunny day
The food and service is great. Usually go to another Spanish tapas place in town but this is my new favourite
We were seved by the fabulous Jim. Very attentive and recommended some dishes. Great food, great atmoshphere and great service.
Great food, service and atmosphere as always! Love Brutti’s!
I emailed you as soon as I got home to thank the staff, we had our German Shepherd puppy (Roxy) in with us and she was so spoiled by all staff. The food was excellent and although the staff are always attentive, they really went out their way for us, definitely be back soon. Many thanks again, Scott
We had an enjoyable lunch at Brutti Compadres until the end of our meal when we were rudely told that they needed the table back. While this would have been an acceptable request, the way it was handled by your member of staff was appalling. He was aggressive and rude and made us feel thoroughly unwelcome as we finished our drinks.
Brutti is a 'hidden gem'. Lovely atmosphere, friendly service and a menu for all tastes.
As always, it was a lovely evening. The staff are just lovely, the £9 tapas is a fantastic deal, and the atmosphere is perfect. Keep it up!
