About Brutti Compadres
Nestled in a small, secretive courtyard in the historical area of Glasgow’s Merchant City, Brutti Compadres is built on the site of the original tobacco exchange.
Our cafe bar serves all day food, continental draught lagers, great wines, inventive cocktails and fine italian coffee. We aim to provide our customers with tasty small plates of mediteranean holiday style flavours. All this served to you by naturally friendly, helpful staff in our soft industrial, mediteranean style cafe bar.
We had a lovely late lunch making the most of the sunshine yesterday. Prompt and attentive service as always - and the Covid related safety checks seamless and thorough. A great afternoon enjoying tapas, cocktails and sunshine with great service.
Great food & cocktails
Huge fans of the Brutti brand since the Brunswick days, but love the new place even more! Very good food hoice given the limited menu, only desserts were disappointing. Service ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING as always! Thanks compadres, we'll be back soon xx
First time visit food was lovely
First time at Brutti and will be back for sure. Excellent food and the staff were great. No complaints
So glad to be back at a favourite place. Great food, great atmosphere and friendly staff.
Overall great experience with nice food and drinks! Highly recommend this place.
My favourite tapas in Glasgow
We had excellent evening and enjoyed our food and drink. Breakfast martini a winner.
Lovely meal, friendly and helpful staff. Very covid aware and felt safe. Thanks
The staff couldn’t have been anymore nicer to us and the food was amazing
Great experience as usual.
This is one of my favourite establishments in Glasgow. The staff, service, food and atmosphere in this gorgeous wee joint are unbeatable. A real hidden gem.
Good food, friendly staff, comfy seats, clean, what more could you ask for?
As usual, the service and and staff were first class, we will be back again soon.
Great wee place!
Great food in lovely surroundings. Staff were superb!
My wife and I had a fantastic lunch at brutti on sat and the service in these challenging times was absolutely fantastic . Big thanks to our server Jim and the rest of the staff. Couldn't speak highly enough of the whole experience .
We have been coming through from Falkirk to Brutti for years, we love it. Relaxed, amazing food and casual staff. All we need. Thanks everyone. Alison Easton
Great food, great drinks, great people, great place!
The atmosphere is obviously different to the normal Brutti atmosphere given the Covid restrictions. However, the menu choice, the quality of the food, the cocktails and - of course - the banter with the fabulous staff more then makes up for that. Already planning my next visit!
Limited menu due to Covid which is understandable but I was VERY limited.
Another great visit.
Staff excellent as usual, very friendly and tentative and food good, this is regular place for us to eat, our go to place even although they have had to put a restriction on the menu due to COVID
Good food, nice vibe. Only complaint is that we were advised it was last orders at 10pm (online states that the restaurant is open until 11:30pm) but nobody actually came to take our drinks order. We then approached the bar to ask for more drinks 5 minutes later and were refused as apparently everything was tidied away. Two young ladies who appeared to be friends with a female member of staff then entered the bar and were served. We questioned this at the time and the lovely guy who’d been serving us all night (honestly couldn’t fault him at all) who then asked the member of staff who was extremely friendly with the ladies if we could be served because the ladies had been serviced but he came back to us to say the young ladies were drinking water...sparkling with a straw and definitely didn’t look like the water we’d received earlier in the night. I’m not convinced this was true and after spending over £150 on a Monday night, we left disappointed.
