About Brutti Compadres
Nestled in a small, secretive courtyard in the historical area of Glasgow’s Merchant City, Brutti Compadres is built on the site of the original tobacco exchange.
Our cafe bar serves all day food, continental draught lagers, great wines, inventive cocktails and fine italian coffee. We aim to provide our customers with tasty small plates of mediteranean holiday style flavours. All this served to you by naturally friendly, helpful staff in our soft industrial, mediteranean style cafe bar.
Waited 30 minutes for our gins which arrived with the food.
Good was delicious as were the drinks! Staff were friendly and welcoming and gave sound guidance with the menu
Well organised, good food and drinks and great service! Always a pleasure to visit this place, thanks
Fabulous place, we had a great night.👍
Always enjoy my visit and it was lovely to share with my family. I am sure you will have some new customers as our children will also be back.
Fabulous food , super friendly staff , great atmosphere, thank you!
Great as always!
Food was absolutely delicious, drinks were excellent and the staff were so knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly! Would recommend to everyone for a chilled out and overall great experience!
Service excellent. Food fabulous as usual. Love this place.
Amazing food, great service and tasty cocktails.
Lovely food, great professional and pleasant staff.
Really great lunch. Good food, good service and reasonable price.
Brilliant night! Atmosphere was great, the basement room was a fantastic little place that was perfect for a small or large party. The only downside for me was the heat in the room, it got far too hot! All in all, I would rate the staff, service, food and drink a 5 stars. They made my 21st celebration something to remember.
good, attentive service considering how busy it was, cracking seats outside, terrific food, highly recommended.
Great time thank you
Nice atmosphere, we didn't have a full meal just a couple of small plates, all pleasant and staff were friendly and attentive.
It was a classic uk summer (2 days of sun) so it was very busy outside. We sat inside and it looked lovely and pleasantly quiet. Staff were excellent and couldn’t praise their efforts highly enough
As usual food was good and service good even although the restaurant was very busy
Friendly staff and delicious food and drink, definitely will be back!
Extremely slow service. Waiters were friendly and helpful but very difficult to catch their attention. Food alright. Best bit was the sangria!
Waiting staff were very friendly and helpful however service was slow at times, particularly for drinks.
Service was slow even though it was a Tuesday afternoon and very quiet. The food order was initially wrong so had to be sent back. When the food arrived it was cold and had to be sent back to then be returned and overcooked - the chips were burnt to a crisp! The hot chocolate was grainy, made with water and bland again this was returned because it did not taste good. First time in the restaurant which was recommend via a friend but extremely disappointing. Not sure if there was an issue with staffing / kitchen etc.
Lovely lunch with friendly service.
Love the vibe in here. Right good mix of everybody. You can feel the sunshine. NO rush no bother well relaxed atmosphere. Food is delicious, wine a great marriage to the small plates. All in you could bring anyone here and I challenge you they'd have a great night. Been in at varying times of day and the banter and charm are always there in spades. Watching folk headed to event downstairs so great moments of alonesness below decks as well. You really should try it.
