All good. Little pricey but all good
I had only gone once before for lunch in Brother Hubbard North so it was my first time for dinner. My friend and I were going to a play so we arrived 20 minutes early to chance our arm to get our table ahead of our reservation and it was no problem. The staff were really accommodating as I had mentioned our need for quick service due to the play when I was booking and they prioritised us. The staff were friendly, attentive and the food was delicious. I really enjoy their take on the cuisine and they mix different ingredients together with tasty results. The menu is clearly marked for food intolerances and it has good vegetarian and vegan options. The only thing I found was that on their bill, they state that they do not accept larger notes and cannot split bills, which did not bother us, but it might be an issue for some customers. I will definitely recommend and we had a great experience.
We both loved it! I genuinely can’t fault anything. The food was great, with a good choice for vegetarians. I loved the layout, the service- everything! For the last four years my husband and I go to a restaurant each month for dinner, with the proviso that no restaurant can be re-visited. I think we’ll have to break that because we both want to go back to Brother Hubbard! Maybe we’ll go for lunch..... 😁
I had high expectations but to be honest was underwhelmed. Starters were inventive and tasty. Main courses were a big let down for all 4 of us. One of the main courses took a very long time to come out but in fairness the staff took it off the bill without any fuss, but we would rather have eaten together than have one of us sitting there then eating the main course when others had finished. Overall a letdown. I doubt if I’ll be back.
Great, very tasty and healthy food.
Lovely food and friendly staff
Thought the food was excellent and loved it. However, we were seated in the 'back section' which was empty despite having booked well in advance. Thought overall it was expensive.
Everything was perfect!
Really enjoyed the evening, food was delicious and menu had some really enticing options, making it hard to decide! Friendy and relaxed atmosphere,
Really tasty and imaginative vegatarian food
Great food and wine - lovely service!
Service was really, really slow. Drink was forgotten, wrong main was brought out, and had to look out to flag down staff to ask for more drinks, dessert menu, etc. Such a shame because the food was great.
Soul-less space - pity cos great staff and food is OK too
We had a fantastic meal on Friday night. Finding somewhere for a large group of 30 people to eat can be difficult but the staff in Brother Hubbard looked after us so well...there were no complaints! A first for our staff! There was a great atmosphere in the restaurant and the service was attentive and helpful. The shared starters and dessert was a lovely way of dining together and everyone left very impressed with the whole experience. We'll be back! Thank you!
My favourite place to eat in Dublin, whether it be breakfast lunch or dinner it's always a great experience. The service is friendly and efficient. The food is wonderful. Tasty and creative, there are always new exciting specials on the menu. This time I was there for the middle east feast. Its great value for the quality and portion sizes. Wine is good too. Highly recommend.
Food was really lovely and pitched at exactly the right price point. Service on the night was friendly and very good. There was a bit of a mix up with our group reservation but it was soon sorted. And despite the fact that we were the last table in the restaurant we weren't being rushed out of the place. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
I love Brother Hubbards, great food, lovely friendly staff great atmosphere. My only complaint is that portions are on the small side.
First time trying Brother Hubbard's North - and it won't be my last. The service was excellent and the food was amazing.
Gorgeous food and a fabulous place! Highly recommend!
Fantastic, tasty, healthy food in a cool and welcoming setting. Will be back.
Food was excellent. Our server was very smiley positive person and she was very attentive. Highly recommend Brother Hubbard’s North. We are also big fans of Brother Hubbard South!!
One of my favourite places to eat in Dublin! Never have had their dinner service before, only brunch, and it was incredible, my guests and I were overly satisfied and so full. Really beautifully plated, fresh ingredients and reasonable prices. I will be back again and again!
Middle eastern feast. Halloumi honey chips are a must!
