About Broken Dock
We're independently run, we cook our entire menu ready to order and we source our ingredients locally around Bristol. Basically, we care about quality and longevity here, and within Bristol's ever-changing and competitive standard of dining we learned along the way how to endure and stand out. We've been through it all!
Come and lounge with us along the water, overlooking the S.S Great Britain & Ashton Court and find out why we have the ideal space to simply relax with the highest standard of dining on offer. Whether you're brunching with us in the day, dining at night or trying our award-winning Sunday Roasts, we've got you covered here.
Best roast dinner, staff very friendly.
We tend to go for SundayLunch quite often and this came at the top end Owen and the team who greeted us and looked after us were amazing Thank you for a lovey afternoon We shall be back Pam Thomas and crew 👍👍
Love it here, consistently good
Lovely bar and perfect location. I’ve been here a few times since I discovered it! Bar staff are so friendly and welcoming will definitely be back! :)
Fantastic place for brunch
Food was delicious and customer service was great!
Fantastic friendly & prompt service, delicious food & drinks. A very enjoyable ladies lunch in the sunshine. Thank you we will recommend & return!
Food was really good! We had no idea what it would be like as it’s our first time visiting Bristol but they really smashed it.
Absolutely amazing. Exquisite food. Shame the service wasn't quite at the same standard, but still great
Delicious roast dinner and our waitress was great!
We had a lovely meal at this restaurant where the staff were friendly and attentive.
Booked a table for 5 online 5 days before. Easy booking reservation at the time we wanted (13:15 hrs on a Sat) We arrived 20mins ahead and were able to be seated immediately. ..offered choice of two tables outside or one indoors - chose outdoors as weather good Service was relaxed and unhurried Menu choice for veggie is very limited but the veggie breakfast was good.ordered an additional side if chips and they took a while to arrive however were very good! Waiter asked if we liked roast dinners we should book as theirs are "amazing and unbeatable" (may just have to book to check out his claim!) A 10% service charge is added to bill however waiter did say he'd get it removed without us even asking - we left it added Would recommend and ask the team that they consider more vegetarian options for the day menu
We stopped in for breakfast and it was INSANE! Very part of it was cooked to perfection and was so tasty!we sat outside with a gorgeous view across the harbour to SS Great Britain and had an incredible experience. Thank You!
One of the best roast dinners we’ve had in a long time! The food was amazing, we felt really safe and received excellent service from our table waiter, lovely and friendly atmosphere. Also catered for gluten free with ease which was great. Thank you Broken Dock we can’t wait to come back!
Amazing food, brilliant out of the way restaurant with excellent customer services by the staff. Very impressed and already been recommending to family
Great venue and staff!
Amazing restaurant with great food and fantastic customer service. Easy for families and friends. Fully recommend!!
We had a lovely evening, good atmosphere, tasty food
Staff were super friendly & food was delicious. Great atmosphere and beautiful spot by the water.
Booked ahead for a reservation for an evening meal on 2nd September. On arrival we found the place quite empty but still had a really good feeling about the place. We ordered drinks and the main meal at the same Time and as we were one of the only ones there we knew everything would be prepared just for us, after a couple of minutes the drinks arranged about 15 minutes later the main course arrived. We both went for the chicken supreme and weren't disappointed, I would go as far as saying it was one of the best and tastiest dishes we have had in a long while, our compliments to the chef. After finishing our food we requested the bill which arrived promptly and we paid and had a little chat with the waitress who was very polite and nice. Dont let being a little bit out of the wat put you off as this is an hidden gem on the waterfront. Thank you the Broken Dock we will be back
Our first visit, won't be our last. Had a Sunday roast, was excellent. Our server Owen was brilliant. The sun was out and we moved outside after. Arrived at 2.30, left just after 6
Waited 50 minutes for food from the moment we sat down. 20 minutes for coffee - which was terrible. Lovely place but service and wait times are letting it down.
