We dined here twice over our 4 day trip to Alloway. Excellent food and service Thank you
A great relaxing meal
Excellent evening with good food and good service!
Enjoyed Afternoon Tea with Scottish and American family and friends. It was a pre wedding get together and we all had a delicious and lovely time.
Very enjoyable experience
We love it here! The food is incredible and goes hand in hand with the excellent service! We are excited to get married here later this year!
The staff are friendly and the experience overall was excellent. There is no place in Scotland like the Brig O Doon it's excellent
Delicious specially-made curry, all food piping hot. The few tables used in the restaurant were cramped together.
Fabulous and cosy hotel, amazing gardens, great food and lovely atmosphere
We had the early bird menu and the food was delicious and great value. The salmon with couscous was very flavoursome and the stick toffee pudding just melted in your mouth.
Delicious food at a very reasonable price. Beautiful setting.
Always great food and service be back again as usual
Everything first class
Would never book here again. Sent a request for a dinner reservation Saturday 6th July for our 35th anniversary. We got married at the brig o doon. Our confirmation came through for Saturday 29th June. I sent email back advising of the error and was I still booked for 6th July. Received no response so booked elsewhere.
Beautiful restaurant, the food was delicious and we will definitely be back. The staff were all very nice and attentive.
Had a lovely night - delicious food and great service
What a beautiful hotel with lovely surroundings, the gardens are awesome, the food, service, everything was first class it was our first time there but we will certainly be back when in the area again.
Lovely overnight stay, would recommend.
Always like visiting the Brig o'Doon however would NOT recommend for someone who is gluten free. Brig o'Doon were notified of one of the party being gluten free a day before and were great initially by asking who it was and addressing her - explained she could select anything on the menu and they will ask the chef if it can be adapted to be gluten free. This made it sound like they were very adaptable. Turns out, several choices later and trips to the chef and she found something she could have so it was incredibly limited. Looking at the other preferences that were rejected, we presume it were due to possible gluten in sausage and bread. We were very surprised that gluten options of these uncomplicated items were not provided at such a well established venue!!
Lovely food, great service. Excellent value for money
Lovely food and service. Gorgeous decor
I didn't like that we were not given the early bird menu on arrival and the we were given one between four of us which was a bit of a pain. Also didn't understand why we were sat in the bar area not in the dining bit as at times it was very noisy and there was no view what so ever which was one of the reasons I booked the reservation in the first place. Drinks were very expensive. £2.20 for a can of coke is quite ridiculous in my opinion. I am just glad that the food was nice otherwise I would have been very disappointed with the whole evening.
We enjoyed our lunch experience at Brig o' Doon very much with good food served well by efficient staff despite the trials of a busy wedding taking place. Nice wine list too. We would return and recommend to others too.
Food was great and service great. Beautiful hotel and surroundings.
