Took my mum for a lunch date as am early Mother’s Day gift. Throughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend. Great portion sizes for a great price. Will be back.
Forgot how nice it is. Will be back soon.
This was our first visit here since a wedding. I can't recommend this place enough. The staff are what make this place. You are all a credit to your craft. We will be back.
Will try the afternoon tea next time it looked lovely
Prompt, friendly, but not intrusive, service. And provided a smaller portion for my mum without making mum anxious,
It was my mother in laws 90 th birthday on the 7 th March The Brig O Doon hotel seemed appropriate to me for this occasion and i certainly was not let down in any way it was a lovely night food was good Nice Atmosphere and the staff were great from we went in till leaving ! Good night had by all .
I would have liked a confirmation email after I booked online to confirm my booking for lunch. The hotel is beautifully kept. The front garden area is immaculate. You have an excellent gardener. The hotel is very clean and welcoming. The food is excellent and service is friendly and efficient. A great place to visit.
We had a great meal, with great service.
Monkfish and prawn curry absolutely delicious. Sirloin steak, although very well cooked, was a bit stringy. Breakfasts were cooked to perfection, not too greasy and nothing burnt.
Your staff excellant, Ben welcomed us as we arrived in reception foyer, then arranged for a window seat for our elderly 89 year old mother to sit at (as she is partially blind) this was her Xmas treat for my husband and I. Our daughter Shirley's wedding took place in hotel 3/4/15 and always meant to return, ONLY TAKEN US FARMERS FIVE YEARS. Thinking on coming back for an overnight and staying soon. MANY THANKS TO ALL STAFF THAT WERE ON DUTY AS ALL BRILLIANT.
Very enjoyable meal with first class service
Fantastic night away lovely staff food amazing breakfast wasn’t overly warm but didn’t ruin our break
Always a pleasure to dine at the Brig O'Doon. Lovely surroundings, great food, and superb location.
Not what we expected.
Excellent food and service on a very stormy night. Meal was very good and the warmth of the welcome just as appreciated.
Everything was really good from start to finish
I was expecting everything to be first class and hoping that on the night there would be no disappointments. We were not let down in any way and every guest in attendance had nothing other than compliments re: all aspects of this hotel. Keep it up!
a poor experience. one of our party despite ordering a gluten free starter was served with bread that was not gluten free. another guest had the mussels but could eat a few before finding a complete inedible one which was badly off. Unfortunately she was very ill the next day. there was also a delay in service apparently as a mistake in the kitchen for which we were offered some free drinks. unbelievabley we were asked to pay for the mussels which we refused to do. I would like a response to this feedback
Lovely food, perfectly served by friendly helpful staff. Sadly place a bit empty - ok it was Thursday lunchtime at end of January!
Brig o doon is absolutely beautiful. Food was even better best steak pie I’ve had by far! Great atmosphere and service aswell. Can’t wait to return!
I very pleasant dining experience, the staff and service given was of the highest standard.
Amazing food. Beautiful establishment. However grannfor her brithday. However we paid with vouchers at the end of our meal and were told to wait for change if we had any cause it would only be getting a voucher back cause no cash given with them which is fine but we were left sitting for like 30min with my elderly gran having to wait to get home. The waiter didn't tell us there was no change and he avoided eye contact with us the whole time. It was only when we asked he said there was no change.
Had a lovely stay at Brig o Doon. Staff so friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Lovely night.
Booked a meal for 20 people. After some initial hiccups, communication with Jacquie was excellent, and all tricky customers were accommodated for without any hassle. The service and food on the night was wonderful. The staff couldn’t have done any more, nothing was a problem.
