About Randall & Aubin Spinningfields
Randall & Aubin is an Anglo/French Brasserie that specialises in seafood and has been delighting foodies, fans and celebrities for the past twenty years - all of whom come looking for an outstanding meal and a fabulous time beneath the glittering disco ball. Relaxed, fun and approachably luxurious, this is a place where lobster and steak are served with a side of good humour and a wink as sparkling as the champagne.
The staff are friendly and welcoming (although my sons and I found it “off” being referred to as “my lovelies” by one of them!!). The service was otherwise prompt and attentive. The food was up and down: all of the fish starters were very good, 2 of the main courses were disappointing. The Peterhead cod was undercooked and the accompanying veggies and sauce did nothing to enhance flavour. The bouillabaisse was bland beyond belief. Somewhat disappointing for a seafood restaurant compared to the standards experienced elsewhere in Europe. Would I eat here again? Yes, but I would stick to oysters and starters. Wine was excellent and reasonably priced.
Lovely restaurant with really friendly, fun and informed staff. Great recommendations on wine!
Great service and food, looking forward to my next visit
This was the second time I had been, lobster was lovely, see you again soon!
Wonderful as always
Excellent restaurant, another very enjoyable experience, thank you.
Perfect venue for our Client Xmas drinks event, amazing staff so attentive and courteous. Will book again for certain and many of our client said they would love to return. Special mention to Sandra for hosting and organising so brilliantly !!
excellent as always my favourite restaurant in Manchester
as always amazing food, service and atmosphere
Good service and food at Randalls.
Wonderful lunch here excellent staff
We loved our starters of French soup and Cullen Skink. My husband was a bit disappointed with the Randall and Aubin seafood & lobster pie as not enough fish for him. My pork chop was really thick and tasty. He had French raspberry tart which didn't last long! Wine went down well as usual. Server was lovely 🤩
Lunched while Christmas shopping with my daughter who has eaten at the Soho restaurant, so her recommendation. Meet and greet, service throughout and coat return (oyster shell tags a nice touch!) was all very attentive and friendly. The food was was well cooked and presented and on hot plates - great. I thought food was very reasonably priced, wine a touch on the pricey side - especially for a glass. We had a lovely lunch in a good atmosphere. Would definitely visit again.
Me and my friend dined for the third time and it was marvellous as per usual! The staff and service was excellent, The food was simply devine and delicious ! Every course was simply of high quality . Great atmosphere, great evening !
It’s like coming* home after being away for a long time . The staff, the service an£ the food are just great . I treated my dad and sister and we were spoiled from the minute we arrive to the second we left. Can’t wait to return. It’s becoming a favourite Thank you Maria and James xx
Great venue... top service... quality food
first impressions not good on arrival ignored at the bar. asked 4 times if our table was ready. cold food, tiny portions and too expensive items missing from menu on a friday night...no bread? no rose wine! waitress was lovely this place could be great but it needs a shake up... we shall not be returning.
Nice setting, relaxing and cosy, the staff were very attentive, I would definitely return and recommend this restaurant Many thanks for an excellent experience
We had a wonderful meal, attentive and friendly service and we really wanted to stay longer. Fabulous restaurant, we will be back.
Enjoyed our meal but was a little disappointed. The fish pie was very small as were all the portions. Nice ambiance but if you are hungry I think you'll have to order sides to fill you up or order something more expensive from the menu.
Lovely decor, staff friendly but need to know the dishes better Calamari good Steak and Chicken supreme very average Rotisserie named menu no longer has any rotisserie dishes on it?!
Unfortunately the food was not at a standard commensurate with your reputation. The Halibut was over cooked and dry as a bone insufficient sauce provided. The steamed broccoli side was similarly over cooked. The potato terrine also overcooked in places and undercooked in others. My partner had the Assiette de Fruits De Mer - shell fish hadn't been cleaned properly, Whelks were full of sand, crab had prices of shell in it
Everything was awesome, the waitress that took our order was incredible and the food was delicious
We had a fabulous evening. The food was exceptional and the staff were absolutely wonderful. Excellent customer service!
