About Randall & Aubin 64 Bridge Street
Randall & Aubin is an Anglo/French Brasserie that specialises in seafood and has been delighting foodies, fans and celebrities for the past twenty years - all of whom come looking for an outstanding meal and a fabulous time beneath the glittering disco ball. Relaxed, fun and approachably luxurious, this is a place where lobster and steak are served with a side of good humour and a wink as sparkling as the champagne.
Restaurant was empty but understandable on a Monday afternoon so not much atmosphere. But great value lunch menu & a lovely birthday plate as we were celebrating
Another fantastic night @ Randall & Aubin, a big thanks to everyone for exceptional service as always. The food & drink was as good as ever, 10 very happy and slightly inebriated customers!!!!
One of the best relaxed freindliest restaurants I have been to. The staff were fantastic, they couldn't do enough for you and everyone was extremely genuine. The food was fantastic with such a lovely warm atmosphere! I loved it and will definitely make it a must-go-to every time I'm in Manchester, especially now I know I love cavier!
First time visiting Randall & Aubin and will definitely be going back.
Looking forward to seeing new wine list.
Excellent food, great service and buzzing atmosphere
Staff as always were friendly and helpful. The food was beautiful
Great, and important, restaurant in Manchester that everyone should support.
Fantastic food and amazing service, we loved every minute of being in this wonderful restaurant. Thank you for a great night. We will be back soon
Had an enjoyable afternoon with friends in a relaxed atmosphere! Had the muscles and Sunday lunch which were delicious .. that was our second visit both times the staff were lovely witl definitely return
Clare (our server) was an absolute darling and kept us topped up without being too intrusive on our meal. A real star! A little disappointed with the pastry (dry and tough) and the bread sticks for the cheeseboard (Which were chewy and had no snap). But then you're not a bread restaurant so it didn't really detract from the rest of the food (the Irish oysters were perfect!) Pricey, but we'd eaten at trendy new high-rise restaurant not a million miles from you not so long ago. Same cost per head but your food and ambience was far superior.
Had lunch there with my wife yesterday (Sunday). First class from walking in to leaving two hours later. Excellent place, great and very helpful staff and the most awesome food I've had for a very long time. We'll be back very, very soon! Thanks Guys.
The whole experience was very enjoyable but it was the staff that made it great - very engaged and helpful.
Beautiful food & great service. Would recommend to everyone!
Was looking forward to coming as my husband and I love fish. The girl at reception was very friendly and helpful and took our coats and lead us to the table. The young man serving was efficient and helpful. Our starter of fish cakes was quite nice but not memorable. I had turbot as I’ve never had it before but seen it cooked on cookery shows and it looks lovely. it was disappointing as it was a little watery, not well cooked (didn’t fall apart and needed cutting ) and didn’t really tast of anything. I should have said something but it didn’t seem bad enough to complain But on reflection as it wasn’t cheap I’m letting you know before I put a review on trip ad. The rest of the plate was tasty and chocolate desert was delicious. We only had 2 glasses of wine and the bill came to £117 which isn’t inexpensive, so felt a little cheated on the main. Thanks for listening. Julie
Our first but definitely not last visit, we loved the food, the waitress who looked after us was lovely and we are both looking forward to returning soon
Friendly service and lovely atmosphere
Stunning food at very reasonable price.
We took my daughter for her birthday from the start the whole occasion was fabulous the customer care from the staff was beyond exceptional and the food was out of this world! I will be recommending Randall and Aubin to everyone steps to have my birthday there are already underway.Place great, staff great, food greeeaat, and the martinis were dry!! Cheers, Phil.
Lovely night great service Will go back again
Friendly staff providing excellent service Delicious fish dishes, lovely presentation Very pleasant evening Thoroughly recommended
Me and my partner came here during a weekend down in Manchester from Scotland. I chose this specifically for their Po Boy. Now obviously it was never going to be an authentic New Orleans/Louisanna Po Boy but man was it good! We had the bacon and clam chowder also. Just wonderful. All the servers were so lovely and welcoming and service was great. Thank you so much!
One criticism the head Guy in the jeans and jacket came to my table to top up the wine glasses unfortunately right across the front of my face and uninvited there is no polite way to say this but his hand stunk of tabacco obviously he had been smoking and not washed his hands afterwards very disappointed other than that everything else was excellent
A smaller place than expected. Tuna and feta slightly unusual
Unfortunately the food was absolutely dire. The bavette steak was not cooked in the traditional bavette style. The steak was tough and over cooked (the waiter did notice this he was very apologetic and discounted the meal). The truffle dressing was instead garlic butter. Heirloom tomato salad contained no heirloom tomato, instead it had cherry. The green beans were not trimmed and the creme brulee was still very liquid. It was a poor food experience. The waiter was very apologetic and his service was good. The kitchen was slow to get the food out, a 40 minute wait from seating to serving. It's a shame the food can't match the quality of waiters/waitresses.
