About Randall & Aubin Spinningfields
Randall & Aubin is an Anglo/French Brasserie that specialises in seafood and has been delighting foodies, fans and celebrities for the past twenty years - all of whom come looking for an outstanding meal and a fabulous time beneath the glittering disco ball. Relaxed, fun and approachably luxurious, this is a place where lobster and steak are served with a side of good humour and a wink as sparkling as the champagne.
First time visit and very impressed. Food and service were really good. Will definitely be visiting again.
The evening was spoilt by having to wait 5 minutes at the reception desk unwelcomed by anyone, whilst watching the waiters and duty manager congregate by the till at the far end of the bar. Even when the kitchen staff took pity and asked for Service, it took a while for the staff to wake up, their first priority being to take the waiting food to the tables. Even the chefs looked embarrassed.
The service was excellent however the food was average for an establishment within high regards of its reviews. Disappointed two steak dishes and both were served without steak knives!!!
Another perfect meal - R&A you never fail
Fantastic food and service will return again Cheers 🦞👍
Great food, service on the ball and relaxed. Good vibe, perfect!
Amazing time. Server was amazing, Really nice guy. Atmosphere was just what we wanted too. Nice chilled evening with great food.
When my family and I first came into the restaurant we thought it was wonderful, great cocktails and a very good menu, our starters came and we thought these were very good, but then our main courses came - the halibut was the smallest portion of fish that I’ve ever seen served in a restaurant The fillet steak was very small with a mini pie - not what we were expecting Because of this it made our experience go from a good 8/10 to a 2/10.
Great service and lovely food
Wow! Visited for first time yesterday - wonderful greeting, seating and service throughout was first class; food delicious and wonderfully presented..thank you all so much and will be revisiting very soon ...Eamon and Jacqueline Gall, City Centre Cruises, Manchester...
Service was great, many thanks for a fun evening
all excellent as always
A really excellent meal with superb service
Fantastic Sunday lunch yesterday, great choice on the set menu including a generous portion for my daughter. Salmon starter was particularly good, the quality of the food was exquisite, particularly the French oysters. Service friendly and efficient. We will be returning again soon Many thanks! Loved our visit - fabulous food and service amazing Thank you !
Lovely food and great service, if you like wines they also have a good choice (so my partner said).
Don’t keep your cheese in the fridge Just before serving. It kills the taste
Awful loud music pumping away all the time, which is totally unnecessary, uncomfortable and inappropriate for a restaurant. One of our party has hearing difficulties and struggled with hearing the conversation. The food was OK in terms of quality, but tiny portions. To add to an underwhelming experience, we were initially overcharged because other people's drinks had been added to our bill. A rather cursory apology followed when we pointed this out.
The food and service were perfect - was just a little quiet - only one other table in use
First visited Randall & Aubin's Soho restaurant many years ago. Delighted when they opened their Manchester outpost. Would rate their Manchester restaurant as one of the best in Manchester........perhaps even the best.
Main course was disappointing
Really enjoyed the evening, service was good.
My absolute new favourite restaurant! Could not fault it one bit.
Our waitress was the best. Attentive, friendly but not over bearing. We had the lobster po boy. Bit of a brioche overload but very delish 😋
