About Randall & Aubin Spinningfields
Randall & Aubin is an Anglo/French Brasserie that specialises in seafood and has been delighting foodies, fans and celebrities for the past twenty years - all of whom come looking for an outstanding meal and a fabulous time beneath the glittering disco ball. Relaxed, fun and approachably luxurious, this is a place where lobster and steak are served with a side of good humour and a wink as sparkling as the champagne.
I was very pleased with the service and presentation of all foods presented. I would be happy to return again and have another lovely meal with you all I wish all well in these difficult time
very small portions of fish for a fish restaurant. limited nibbles
Had a great birthday meal at this place. Couldn't fault a thing for the whole evening.
Took my 10 y/o daughter for a grown up daddy daughter early evening meal. She loved it. Staff were really attentive in particular and made her feel special. Good effort.
Fab first visit. Food and service from the team were both excellent. Already looking forward to our next visit!
Staff and service were fabulous, friendly and helpful and when one chap I asked didn’t know the answer to my question he went and found somebody who did. The food was good too, I had caviar for the first time, not sure what the fuss is about, it was nice bit I’d rather have a crab!
Everything about our visit was amazing bar the fact you didn’t acknowledge it was my husbands 50th birthday that day and this is why we had booked. I spent a long time picking the perfect restaurant and let you know in the booking form but despite another diners birthday being recognised whilst we were there, my husband’s wasn’t. Our food was delicious however, the best seafood we have sampled for a while and the service was excellent.
Great meal, excellent service.Overall an impeccable evening. Well recommended.
had a great night and staff great. chatted to people both sides of our table and had a ball.
My daughter had a lovely time! All the waiting staff where great with her! Which made our experience wonderful
We’ve been here a few times now and have never been disappointed
I would highly recommend for everyone to visit this first class restaurant.

Had a good time.
Service staff are attentive, knowledgeable of the produce on offer & personable.
Wonderful place to eat the food was amazing the seafood platter out of this world and the service can’t be faulted we had a fantastic time the young lady who served us had us laughing from start to finish thank you for an unforgettable experience
I love R&A but this was a very poor meal, no where near their usual standards
Always a great atmosphere, and great friendly service food fantastic , will book again
I love the ambience of the restaurant, the friendliness of the staff, the range of the menu and the quality and presentation of the food!
Menu rapide should have been hotpot but we were offered chicken tagliatelli. Boring and a suspicion of using up Monday's leftovers. Food OK and service quick.
Had this been on our previous visits you would of got 5* but we were disappointed with his last visit on Sunday 1st March, I have already emailed you about it yesterday. Firstly, you had no fish and chips left, surely you have this on as offer at the moment you should account for this, it’s my mums favourite place for fish and chips. The oysters were amazing. Both my partner and myself ordered monkfish although the dish was nice apart from fish being small for monkfish, we noticed no mussels, when we asked the waitress she wasn’t aware mussels were in dish so had to look at the menu, she checked with the chef who said they were blended in the sauce! Which seemed bizarre when listed on the description of the dish. Because my mum didn’t want to make a fuss she said she was full with ribeye my partner tried and not only was it under cooked it was not a nice joint of steak, she wasn’t asked why she had left so much, it left us a little disappointed to say the least. We had a laugh with table next to us who had asked for a plain seabass fillet as it looked like a child’s portion, it looked like half a portion. You ask would I recommend your establishment, previously yes but don’t think we will be returning after this latest visit.
A lot of items from the menu were not available and it was only 17:30 so not as if we went late on. The restaurant wasn’t very busy so it seemed strange. Ordered a salad and had to tell the waiter that the green beans were missing from it which was awkward and could have been avoided. Food was great, really tasty.
We ordered Sunday roast on the set menu with dessert. The beef was a little tough around the edges but the vegetable selection was excellent, particularly the cauliflower cheese. Dessert was quite good with the pear tarts.
