Brewhemia is a place where everyone can come together to enjoy great company, fantastic fresh local food, premium quality craft beer and drinks and even better entertainment. We want to appeal to people of all ages and strive to accommodate every event, from family lunch to a night of cocktails. The ethos of Brewhemia is, 'For the love of adventure' which is encapsulated in the five separate areas, each with their own story to tell.
the afternoon tea was amazing it was so nice to have hot savouries instead of all sandwiches. I will certainly be back :)
Great place, lovely food though not enough chairs put out for the 19 people I booked for. This was however rectified quickly by staff.
Excellent Afternoon Tea. Very relaxing atmosphere, brilliant staff and a very tasty afternoon tea.
I understand that you need a deposit to reserve a table but it makes it quite difficult to work out who is due what. We split the deposit 4 ways but when people want to order different things at different times it is hard to keep track. I think it would be easier if you refunded the deposit upon arrival and then people could just pay cash.
Great package for 17 Scottish and Irish friends to get together before the match Recommend and will do again
Had a great day watching the rugby did the pre match brunch and stayed to watch the game. All staff very friendly and happy to help us well done guys
A pleasure indeed to relax in the atmosphere of the Brewhemia, a lovely afternoon tea but in particular the service was really perfect, well done Brewhemia staff for providing an outstanding experience. Thank you! Irene and Jim
Fabulous afternoon tea, had cocktails first in the main venue listening to live music then taken upstairs to another lovely bar which was set out with many others for afternoon tea. Beautiful setting great atmosphere fab food and very friendly and attentive staff. One of the best afternoon tea I have had.
Had a great time at brunch yesterday, lovely atmosphere with the build up to the rugby and excellent commentating from ex internationals who were both interesting and funny! Food was great too and service as always was excellent.
Brewhemia is the only place for brunch before the rugby for me, the staff are all so pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable.
Live music at 6pm. Great surprise and excellant duo. Good mix of clientelle. We'll definately be back.
Had the gentleman’s tea with an itsons voucher which made this great value. The staff were very knowledgeable and professional. Will definitely recommend and be back
Friendly and efficient staff. Good choices on menu....although for those of us who dislike truffle and mustard the choice is more limited.
Would be nice to have a real fire, was a little cold upstairs near the faux fireplace.
Definitely worth a visit a new twist on afternoon tea. Finally something to eat that has taste and substance. Not a finger sandwich in sight. Pies, pastries scotch egg, sausage roll followed by huge cheese scone then incredible cakes. The beer flight that was included was fantastic. Thanks to Brehemia for a lovely afternoon especially the staff who made us very welcome.
Staff very attentive and knowledgeable. Food lovely and a nice relaxed atmosphere
My friends and I went to Brewhemia to watch the Scotland vs Italy rugby match on Feb 2nd 2019. Unfortunately the projector failed several times however the food and service (thank you Skye!) was excellent! My English husband was disappointed the subsequent England vs Ireland match wasn't shown.
Excellent and attentive service
Waitress was great. Originally the seat we had was terrible for our baby as we were at the door with a draft, asked to move and we did. Food drink and waitress was fabulous.
Everything was perfect from start to finish. It’s the perfect location for after work drinks, lunch with friends, a friendly bar atmosphere! We had a prosecco afternoon tea and it was one of the best I’ve had in a long time and my group at ladies who like to lunch! There was a good variety but nothing pretentious or fussy! The servers were excellent and thought of everything and had everything running smoothly that you didn’t feel rushed. I’ll definitely be paying another visit and will recommend to everyone :-)
Went here for afternoon tea using a voucher for ITISON, it was great and well worth the £29. The food and drinks were great and the atmosphere is also great. Staff were happy to help and very friendly. We stayed for drinks afterwards and they are more expensive than some places however we really enoyed it!
Had a lovely gentleman's afternoon tea, will definitely be back again soon.
We had the gin flight and sharing platter and can’t recommend it enough. The food was delicious, and plentiful. The gin flight, and accompanying tonics, were explained in detail by the very helpful staff. It was a relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable experience. Only negative is we don’t live close enough to be able to return and repeat the experience!
All six of us thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea, one of the best in Edinburgh we all agreed. Great selection of sweet/savoury and a takeaway box for what we couldn’t finish for laters! Coffee and cocktail was fabulous as was the staff service. Many thanks
Wonderful afternoon tea!
