Great atmosphere. Very attentive and helpful staff. I think our waiter was called Jason and he helped us pick our food from the menu and advised on what drinks we would like based on other drinks we liked.
Waited thirty minutes for drinks order and was over charged
Our server Niamh was fantastic - cheerful, helpful, made good suggestions, was very attentive, and really enhanced our experience. The food was great, and we were able to move to a quieter upstairs room for coffee after dinner - it was all excellent
Lovely afternoon tea purchased on itison. Well worth the money.
Breakfasts were good really good quality produce and the fresh orange was lovely. Service was quite slow
I was really quite disappointed in the service, I booked this for my 30th birthday for dinner and drinks and when the food arrived one of the meals had been missed and my friend had to sit and watch us eat.
We had a very enjoyable time. The food, beer and service was all excellent.
This was A Christmas gift and we would never have thought of afternoon tea at Brewhemia. It was brilliant and the surroundings were excellent. we will be back, possibly to have lunch next time. great experience.
Very dog friendly
We were a party of 6 having the afternoon tea ☕️ with the Itison voucher. The service was superb very friendly, smiley and chatty staff. The tea was scrumptious with lovely savouries, mini quiche and sausage rolls were very tasty. The deal came with a glass of Prosecco and a gin cocktail so it was a really good deal. We would recommend you give it a try.
First time in Brewhemia and won’t be our last we LOVED IT
Gentleman's afternoon tea.... A little but different and very enjoyable
The food for the Gentleman's Tea was delicious and varied. There was a choice of beers, including a cider, which complemented the food really well. We dined in the 'Bothy', which had a really nice vibe. The service was friendly and unobtrusive. Live musicians in a nearby area enhanced the experience. I will be back!
Spent a relaxing and enjoyable few hours here having Brunch and listening to the live music. Lovely staff, hot tasty food and good value
Amazing. Will definitely be back.
Awesome afternoon tea
Another fantastic Lunch at Brewhemia and even our Cockapoo - Honey, got included on the Instagram page. Many thanks to all
Have been twice now for afternoon tea, brilliant food brilliant service
We visited here for the Gentlemans afternoon tea as we had previously been here back in February and enjoyed it so much. We have to say that we left here slightly disappointed as the staff did not seem to know what to do. We were sat quickly at a table but not offered any drinks for about 30 minutes. The food which we thought was excellent last time was only tepid and not war and things like the chocolate truffle were so hard like they were stale. Despite these small areas we would come back.
We had a lovely afternoon tea for my Mum’s 60th Birthday yesterday. The only let down - and it was quite a big thing was despite me stating when booking that it was a surprise for my Mum’s Birthday when I arrived with my Mum the girl on the door said “the rest of your party are upstairs” kind of ruined the surprise that I had carefully planned for 2 months. I can not fault the food or drink but that one comment did ruin the surprise for my Mum which was very disappointing.
Gentleman's Afternoon Tea. We turned up 10 minutes before our table reservation time but still had to queue for a while at the front door before being directed upstairs to the bar where we had to wait a further 10 minutes while they 'set the tables up'. Several other people were also there for a 2pm booking but were kept waiting. After finally being shown to our table, they then didn't bring the menus for about another 10 minutes. It's like they didn't expect us! If you're going to have a strict policy on arrival time but phone me confirming the booking and email me to confirm it again, then at least be ready when I arrive at the scheduled time! Flight of beers were nice, but several of them you can pick up in any local supermarket so I'd have expected some more unusual ones. Food was tasty. Pleasant food and drink, but experience was spoiled by poor organisation.
Fantastic night, great staff, fantastic band, entertaining dancers. Will come again.
Staff are first class, so friendly and helpful. Food was good - eggs perfectly cooked but beans were crunchy - maybe that is how they are supposed to be but some might find them a bit tough going - they were left by us. Tea was a bit stewed as we waited for breakfasts to arrive. Would have liked either a separate pot of water or teabag on the side. Although we wouldn't order the beans again, the staff more than made up for it, couldn't be more attentive, friendly and helpful. We will be back as overall, its a great place and the food is good.
