About Brewer & Butcher
A Micro-brewery, Beer garden, Restaurant, Bar, Lounge with open fireplace, Sea Facing Terrace with two “Boma” fire pits and a fireplace.
An á la carte Restaurant menu for Lunch, Dinner and Bar-Snacks specializing in Namibian, German and other meat dishes and featuring its own “craft” beer and on site Micro-brewery.
An opportunity to experience the actual brewing process.
The onion rings and garlic sauce (side dish) was to die for as well as the lamb shank. The meat platter was no so good, the lamb is so tough we thought our knives were blunt. The service we received was good and the waiters were knowledgeable. Strange to only be able to order vanilla milkshake.
Steak was not as good as I have had previously at this restaurant. Cut too thin and full of gristle. Cooked rare and not medium-rare as I had requested.
It was a very nice experience since the transfer from the lodge until the transfer to the lodge. Everything, and every one, was special. Truly grateful!
It is always a pleasure to dine at Brewers and Butchers
Food at the Christmas lunch buffet was incredible! Such variety and everything extremely delicious!
Waiters can be hard to find at times, food was great!
The food is tasty and the portions are very reasonable. But if you don't like smokey food, there is not really any other options. The service was good and the setting worked well. There was however open electrical wires in the floor which makes it a bit dangerous when you have smaller children crawling and walking around. We were sitting in the middle inside section in front of the kitchen Thanks Jacqui
Thank you for an enjoyable evening! We reallly enjoy our food!! Also excellent service!
Had a fab time at Brewer&Butcher!
Service very good, food excellent!! A very enjoyable evening!!
The experience was highly appreciated and I am very grateful for the customer service received. I would dine there over and over again! Keep up the good work.
I ate there the 23rd & 24th, and I would recommend you to anyone. You really have an amazingly delicious variety of food to choose from, where you can enjoy it in a cozy set up. And what stood out the most for me, was your waiters, they are all friendly, attentive and vibrant. I for sure, will make use of you again. Thank you again for excellent service.
It was my husband's birthday and the staff and manager at that point made it so special for him. Thank you so much.
We were a table of 22 people and received excellent service from Anna, Loide, Hilde and team. Thank you very much - well done and keep it up!
wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt - das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service außergewöhnlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
My husband had prawn curry which was excellent. However, I ordered the vegetarian option, ravioli - dreadful. Typical of the 'let's punish the veggi' We have eaten at your seafood restaurant and farmhouse deli - both absolutely excellent.
Thanking you for the opportunity to give you some feedback. The food was delicious and the service good. Two things bothered me. Although I did make a booking, when we arrived, my name wasn't on the booking list and the staff prepared a table for which we have to wait. Another thing that was quite annoying is the TV where most of the customers were watching and cheering a soccer game.I do appreciate that people love their soccer, but clearly this is not a sports bar? I've paid a hefty price to enjoy your facilities together with my wife, but the noise was way overboard. We have to shout to each other to have a proper conversation.....?
A booking was made by Chameleon Safaris for our 20-person dinner table. The restaurant looked great, and the menu good as well. Unfortunately, that's the only good points we found. The service was so s-l-o-w, it took ages to get drinks served. The food quality was extremely variable. Two of our party ordered the kudu steak. One was good, the other tough like old boots. We would have sent it back but had waited so long for the food, it would have taken ages to redo the dish. Overall our experience was not great, and the pricing heavy.
The 1st night I went there they could not accommodate me (table for 1) as they were full. So I booked for the following night. I arrived a few minutes early but had to wait 10 minutes while they tried to accommodate another big party. When it came to me they had no record of my booking. Eventually I was seated at the bar. After a while They arranged a small table for me, which was acceptable. 0nly 3 beers for a brewery is disappointing. The wine by glass selection is poor and way too expensive for cheap SA wine. The meal gave me diarrhea. The menu had several items unavailable.
Had such a great time. A space to celebrate life and love with laughter!
Nice location near the ocean with good meals and beer
Our first time, and most certainly not our last. Have to admit could not fault anything. Were especially impressed wth our waiter Leevy.
we had al lovely evening with some nice food and some good service! thanks
Fantastic place. Great service. Good food.
