Brel Has Changed
A new look, a new menu but everything you loved left exactly as is.
A magical new garden, a cosy new conservatory stove, amazing new dishes and some of the old favourites...
Welcome to Ashton Lane's most magical venue.
When we arrived we were given into trouble for being 15minutes late and felt forced to apologise whilst the waitress looked at us in disgust. The waitress then huffed and puffed when we asked if we could sit nearer family members who had arrived just before us, we did get a table near them in the end which we appreciated. The waitress then made rude comments about my mother to my auntie, perhaps not realising we were all together. Very unprofessional and had we not pre paid for our meals we would have walked right out the door. I have worked in hospitality and yes sometimes it get busy and hectic but when your front of house you just have to grin and bare it. To be really honest I used to love Brel and love the room upstairs which would be perfect for my 30th but after our visit on Sunday I won't be back.
your itison fondue deals are great! this was one of the best yet, we had more of the crispy bread and less of the soda bread this time. we bought another deal when we got home. always recommending!
Amazing food and service! Highly recommend the mussels and cheese fondue.
I love this place. Whenever I have guests, I take them there
Bang average. Gents room way too cosy. Hand dryer out of order.
My favourite restaurant in Glasgow! Ordered so much food the waitress wasn't sure it would fit on the table, but we managed!
Atmosphere, food and very helpful staff. Love this place.
Excellent value - £6 for Mussels and Fries, great lunch offer and perfect portions. Only negative, the tables for two people were all quite close together - more space would be great.
We really enjoyed our visit to Brel. Great food, helpful staff and welcoming surroundings. Will definitely be back.
The cheese fondue was brilliant, the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed date night
Was supposed to dine at Brel but due to a burst pipe our booking was moved to Brel's sister restaurant Jacques in Finnieston. Our waitress Cat was amazing and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience.
Tasty food and friendly service
Lovely cosy atmosphere we had the raclette for two and it was amazing. Highly recommend!
All was great as usual! Love place, love staff, love food and drinks. The only thing to mention: please get special glass for special Belgium beer ^^
Meal was delicious the service was fantastic great value for money and we will be back. Thank you The McEwans
Delicious Raclette, with great choice of veggie and meat options as sides. House wine was lovely, staff great
Food always lovely. All year.
Food was fantastic. Great evening.
Good food and a relaxed atmosphere but a little expensive for some of the dishes.
Milk chocolate fondue was great. Cheese fondue was disappointing and overpriced.
Had a great evening at Brel. The staff were friendly & attentive and the food was lovely. Will def be back!
Great service! Food didn’t take too long, the portions were fairly big and it was all lovely :)
We were in as a large group on Saturday, thank you for being so attentive to us, it was flawless service and tasty food! Thanks!
The food was amazing! Staff were really friendly and down to earth, will definitely be back
Hadn't been for a long time as no longer living in Glasgow so was a nostalgia visit. Not disappointed as everything was just bang on. Well done Brel! Hope it won't be so long till the next time.
