Breeze bar and grill serving local fresh produce, overlooking Chesil beach. Lovely seating area outside with views of Portland.
Had the salad with chicken. The chicken was dry and the salad was drenched with oil not very nice. Think the food standards have dropped massively from last year.
2x Food was cold and had to be redone. When arrived other 2 had finished theirs. So 2 ate and wakited whilst the other 2 waited and ate. food price had increased 25% year on year. Quality and qunatity do not justify original price let alone increased price
Too expensive, Osmington is cheaper. As well as places in Weymouth. Mostly burgers
Food served hot and promptly. Very enjoyable
This may be the most expensive Sunday Lunch in Weymouth. That said we have no complaints on the food and service.
Good very good, will b better when we can sit inside again
We had an evening meal , late Sunday lunch and a breakfast . What food that was available was good , but expensive . The presentation was good . The only let down was the service we found it very slow . A couple of points: 1) if you are going to serve prawns still in their shells you need to provide wet wipes or a bowl of lemon water , so we can clean our fingers during and after eating them . 2) If serving a roast pork dish you should have the option of having apple sauce , and lastly a personal choice I would have liked french mustard with my steak NOT English mustard .
Slow service slow to get drinks and incredibly slow wait for food. Food was basic cold and overpriced.
Now seems to be a fast food outlet. Burgers and Pitzas mainly. Prices are high even with the discount. The average age is a lot higher than Waterside, and we would prefer a different menu.
Wonderful staff looked after us very well. The pizzas were excellent. A good venue for Chesil Vista
Lovely waitress, food was well cooked and tasty.
Sadly the menu is not as good as in the past. Too much focus on burgers. That said the food was good and the service excellent. There is covered space which helps. on a good day however sitting outside is excellent
Upon arrival we were informed our table would be outside in the open. However we managed to get a table under the shelter after a 45 minute wait. Then had to ask someone if they could take our order because we had been seated for another 25 minutes with no service. The food was good , but the evening was not the best.
Had to send back 1 breakfast as the poached eggs weren’t cooked properly.
Excellent food & friendly service
Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish. Food was excellent as always. It's a shame that some guests didn't have the manners to talk to the staff properly instead of moaning all the time. These people were not owners i hasten to add. Well done to the staff.
Excellent Sunday Roast really enjoyed it
Very good Sunday lunch Vegetables ok but not our favourites! Also no other meat offered as a normal roast We will always try to support The Breeze
We had fantastic Sunday roast, which was delicious. Very good service and very polite staff. Highly recommended
overpriced/ limited menu
Good meal and drinks - even better after lockdown!
The team tired but are poorly managed. They weren’t sure what the producers were and looked confused most of the time. Food was OK last year it was amazing shame to see it decline but hopefully it’s early days and will improve!
As an owner it’s so nice and relaxing and because I’m on my own I never feel alone It’s my little bit of heaven on earth
Meals were fine, although the tuna steak meal needed to be hotter.
Should make the days Specials menu more visible
