Our waitress Kitti was super - efficient, friendly and made my coffee perfectly. Steak night gets better and better, also good and tasty fish/vegetarian options for my husband. Our last steak night for 2017, looking forward to 2018.
Lovely food and very attentive staff. Will definitely visit again
Individual Camembert to start was lovely, Mains were good too.
Had a fab meal as always
Great as usual
Disappointed. My roast dinner was very dry and my friends roast dinner, the ham was so salty she couldn't eat it.
This was a return visit after a disaster meal for 8 of us . Things happen it's how a company rectifies things given the chance . Everything was perfect , our waitress did her job effortlessly and to perfection . The food was amazing , roast beef for me cooked pink ( many places won't offer that ) . The age range was 86 -my dad down to 2 my grandson and all the food was nothing short of perfect .We had an amazing time and can't praise ALL that made it happen . Thank you we will return
Draught beers have been in poor condition lately. I was expecting the belly park to be crisp but was disappointed as it was served rubbery and soft. Otherwise okay.
I think the additional items, for example we had seasonal vegetables are disappointing in their quantity for £3. Also you used to serve portobello mushroom and large tomato on sides with steak - now much smaller.
Lovely waitress, very attentive. Holloumi bites were devine!
We all enjoyed our meal. A problem with my meal was dealt with promptly and efficiently. A lovely place to go to for my birthday celebration
Excellent meal and staff are second to none. Well done the Swan
Steak night is really good value. The steak was cooked perfectly and we went for the house red wine which is includeded in the price and it was beautiful. Really lovely evening for my partners birthday 😊
I did not give 5 stars for service because although I booked well in advance and asked for a certain table we were put on a table on the balcony area which we prefer not to sit on my husband as trouble with the steps . Also there was a large party and it was very noisy up there as it is a more confined space
Really enjoyed our evening at the swan great pre drinks bar lovely meal good value + also stayed the night room large warn & comfortable
Service was slow despite it not being busy
lovely quaint hotel & food great
Excellent service by Magda and her team, as usual 😀
Fantastic, as always.
Visited for brunch. Great service, really good food and such good value for money. I added bottomless prosecco and the level of topping up was spot on. Look forward to the next time I'm around to visit.
We enjoyed our visit very much; our food was delicious, well presented and hot. Service was good, we will visit again.
Came yesterday for a nice meal before the theatre. All of it Was beautiful restaurant, decor, food! The duck was beautiful, defiantly coming again.
steak night great value and always good at the SWAN.
My wife and I visited The Swan on steak night. On arrival we found the staff to be polite and were shown to our small table for two. As it was steak night were offered the free bottle of house wine, neither my wife or I drink and we were offered two soft drinks instead, only one though. At no point were we offered a refill of a drink that costs a few pence compared to a bottle of wine. We were given the dipping bread which was a nice touch however, when the main meals came the dipping bread basket and side plates weren't removed leaving little space for the main course plates on the table. The food was served warm, not hot and was average. Service was poor and not what I'd expect from a Lewis Partnership premises.
Pre theatre dinner. Excellent service and food. Will definitely return.
