We are sorry but this restaurant is not currently accepting online reservations through ResDiary.
Excellent venue for before concert dinner and drinks Very fresh buffet
High price for a buffet. Hot food lacked flavor and meat was dry.
Not impressed with the misleading online booking process for the restuarant. We booked for a dinner reservation and only found out at the end it was a Buffet. This was of course something to look forward to until we were seated and about to eat and overheard a couple being told it was $75 p/person. If allowing reservations online it should be clearly stated PRIOR to booking the menu and cost. I also noted that the price was not displayed at the restaurant counter and believe more effort should be made in ensuring people know what they are getting themselves into. We also had the buffet breakfast the following morning which was included in our room and was a fantastic spread of food with many options. Thanks for listening
Very accommodating, beautiful buffet and breakfast, fantastic service. We felt very well looked after. Thank you 😊
A little disappointing with the air con. although it was cooler than outside it is was still was warm. We enjoyed our meal however considering the cost believed it was overpriced.
Lovely meal but didn't realise we HAD to get the buffet @$75 instead of just ordering from the menu...
We made a very hasty decision, we were given a booking, had a drink at the bar. Then had a lovely dinner with great service and friendly staff. Thank you
Went there on Monday night and it was too expensive for the buffet $75 Poor service Poor food
Simply not enough staff to cope with the patrons Seafood on buffet was average Coffee and tea not available $75 a head was a lot for the buffet offered
Loved the balcony and location to venues. Staff friendly and professional but more were needed with all the events they had on. Food buffet was fine just needed to be monitored better to ensure sufficient there at all times for those booked in later.
As a Accor Plus member I didn’t get 50% off buffet but if you served alacarte that night I do... where’s that logic and why wasn’t I warned before I booked. $150 for a buffet for two is ridiculous 😪
Didn't have the greatest experience. After booking a table to meet friends the week prior Christmas, arrived at restaurant to be told the menu had been changed, the day prior, to be only selected items (termed 'summer menu') or smorgasbord. At a pinch we could get a choice from the bar menu. We understand there were extenuating circumstances (unfortunate Opal Tower residents) but still, we should have been contacted and given the choice since we had a prior existing reservation. Very poor management and really put a downer on the evening. Staff tried to appease, and food was adequate, but the damage had been done really. There needs to be a big improvement in management, policy and procedure. We certainly won't be hurrying back.
Online menu is different to what is available in house. The menu is very limited and the place is so busy with very few service staff. Please focus on these areas especially the menu.
Please staff up the kitchen for peak periods and events!!! Happens everytime!!! Just takes too long for meals to turn up. Otherwise would be great!
Fantastic food, sensational friendly staff, it is really a great place to dine.
As Accor Plus members I chose to book this restaurant prior to a cricket game we were going to, I booked the earliest time slot of 6pm, with that game starting at 7:15 just a short walk away. We were seated ok but it took a while to take our order, at 6:40 we were told that our meals would not come out until at least 7 because of the demand from room service orders. We ended up having to leave before our meals came and eat at Macca on the way to the game. Very disappointed that we weren't' told up front about the delay so we could have made a decision to leave and find an alternative earlier. Can't comment on the food or value for money as we never got to eat.
it wa a great afternoon with good food and drink and great value for money.
We had a wonderful Christmas lunch. Great variety of food and very tasty. Will be back next Christmas!
My husband and I both found the food very average and the choice very limiting for the price you charge per head. Staff were lovely and helpful.
Whilst there was some confusion on arrival this was handled well by staff and they realised the booking mistake was their issue. The buffet was good with enough choice for a nice meal before the show. Whilst I always prefer a la carte this ended up going well and we had a nice meal.
Beautiful meal! 😊
We were never offered water. Not a big selection on the buffet - needed more salads. Dishes in the heated dishes were not labelled No bread offered Sticky date was very dry and hard from the heat lamps
as an accor plus member 3084094526857962 I believe I should have got 50% off for me and my guest we only had buffet on offer, this particular buffet I considered overpriced at $75 and only got $10 off per head,? Also there were no finger bowls provided for peeling prawns I used the table water and a cereal bowl. The food was OK but not amazing for the price paid. It was understandably busy but we were also told initially that we could get the drinks package $25, thankfully we opted out as the queue to the bar was out the door and luckily one of the waitresses got us a drink but the wait time was terrible.
Terrible experience there last two times we have dined there. We've made a habit of coming for dinner before we go to a show. We came on the night of the Taylor Swift concert, we were seated fairly quickly but no-one came to take our order. We asked several waiters, all of whom promised to be with us in a moment, yet waited nearly 45 minutes to be served. The food was okay but overpriced. Last Saturday was before the Bon Jovi concert, it was absolutely awful. We waited nearly 40 minutes to be seated. There was one staff member both processing payments and seating people. Despite flagging several waiters and offering to seat ourselves, and despite having made a reservation months in advance we were made to queue. As a result we had to eat as quickly as possible, completely missed the support act, didn't have time to queue up for merchandise. On event nights, you clearly know it is going to be busy (as you implement fixed or buffet style menus). Yet seem to be clearly understaffed every time, I see staff bustling around but have had rotten service and the whole experience ruined my last two concert experiences. I won't be coming back and I will be actively NOT recommending to friends and family.
very disappointed with food and staff, it was to busy and the staff could not cope.
