We are sorry but this restaurant is not currently accepting online reservations through ResDiary.
Food was amazing and very enjoyable. The Gnocchi was by far my most favourite dish of the night.
I'm usually not one to complain but the food in the restaurant was awful. This was a special occasion and it was so very disappointing.
I think on an event like Mother's Day there should have been more atmosphere or something different, it felt like a normal Sunday lunch.
I attended the mother’s day celebration lunch and I find the food was average at best and the service was also average. The chicken was dry and there were too much potatoes for the meal as the side dish were also a bowl of potatoes. Expected better quality from Novotel.
Food was excellent. Staff were friendly and efficient, especially given they were busy. It seemed that a couple of additional waiters would have been required for an event night. Credit to your staff for still maintaining a high standard of service.
Wonderful happy helpful staff but felt so sorry for them as they were woefully understaffed. Staff could not have done more for us but with an AFL game and The Killers concert they could never have hoped to have met needs. We waited 15 minutes to order a drink Everyone was really helpful but for goodness sake help them out and give them double staff to serve the crowd.
booked a table for 6 earlier that day, it was not ready , on arrival they said please wait and we push some tables together. I ordered soup, it came to the table and there was no spoon, I had to ask for one. the waitress bought me a desert spoon. I think the service was a little poor.
Booked in advance for the 3 course meal package before the Ed Sheeran concert. What a relief to walk through the mania outside into the ambience of the Boulevard Brasserie! Delicious 3 course meal served quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend this restaurant for meals before concerts.
We will not be returning. I made a booking online as my Mum and I were attending an event at Qudos Arena. I saw that there was a casual menu available which sounded great. Upon arrival we were shown to our table and told that due to the special event we needed to order off the "$55 set menu". When asked why we weren't made aware of this prior to booking the answer from the waitress was a shrug of the shoulders. Mum and I proceeded to order - the food overall was quite nice although the service left a lot to be desired - if we're paying $55 for a set menu, you would at least expect to have your water topped up without having to hail someone down and not have to wait 35 minutes for dessert. Not to mention Mum ordered the fruit platter which consisted mainly of rockmelon - we were horrified given only the day prior there was a widely reported outbreak of listeria triggered by eating rockmelon! Overall the menu was extremely overpriced, the service poor and we could see other diners enjoying pub fare after we had ordered - why we weren't told if we sat in a different section we could have the casual dining option is beyond us - bit of a money maker perhaps? Very disappointing.
We dined in December and then again in February. We were served the exact same set menu. It would be great if they could change the menu.
Overall very disappointed- when a wine is not available why do we pay the extra $$. We sat near the boulevard & the wall was covered in a very bad brown stain that dripped down the whole wall, the buffet breakfast was a joke - what is this make your own coffee in a paper cup & the machine didn't work - an absolute rip off - We have stayed in better in a third country- we won't be back or giving a recommendation
Very enjoyable evening meal, great service, excellent food, plenty of table room, discreetly watched over. We will be back. Thank you.
We were disappointed that it was a set menu when the website advertised a summer menu. We had an entree and main. The beef tenderloin deserves a special mention. It was cooked as requested and delicious.
I booked a table for dinner 2 weeks earlier as we were attending a concert and have eaten here previously and been very happy with the meals. On arrival we found it was a limited choice menu not the normal menu on the website. I understand this decision in times of high volume but would have appreciated being advised at the time of booking. We found the food below the normal standard and obviously pre-cooked.
VERY DISAPPOINTED LIMITED MENU - BUT MANY AROUND HAVING DIFFERENT FOODS ORDER TAKEN THEN ANOTHER STAFF INFORMED US MEAT SELECTION WAS NOT AVAILABLE
Very convenient for a quick but good, preshow meal!
A wonderful pre-show dining experience
Unfortunately busy night. BUT the food was worth the wait. Delicious! would love to go there again.
The steak we had just melted in your mouth and both the food and drink waiters we exceptional! A great experience and we will be back.
Dinner, Great value if your an Accor member. My rare fillet steak was cooked to perfection. Breakfast, as you would expect for Novotel.
The food was good and tasty but the menu considerably paired down due to Take That playing at the Qudos arena so we could have steak, barramundi or vegetarian tagliatelle. Would go back due to ease of location to get a good meal before an event.
Good food delivered by a lovely team of people. Thank you!
We arrived at 6pm for 6.15 pm booking . Restaurant was v busy due to the Australia match . Still waiting at 6.50 pm as the kitchen had misplaced the docket . Staff on floor were friendly but were getting slammed . Drink service was very slow and had to wait 30 minutes for 2 nd drink after asking 3 waiters . Was with 3 kids who were hungry and tired and when I asked for some garlic bread to tide them over that was provided , I was also given a discount and a complimentary beer which was appreciated . I think the menu was too fancy for a busy restaurant and kitchen and football crowd . There was no burger option or steak sandwich . The floor staff kept it going but not see any manager , it was very disorganised .
The food was very tasty, we opted for a selection of starters and sides to share, as the mains menu was very expensive and limited options. We were not able to sit outside as the staff couldn’t accomodate / service the area, due to limited staff availability. However the restaurant was not busy and if the staff loooked after set tables rather serving all, I believe the service would have been better and they most definitely could accommodate the outdoor area.
