Excellent menu selection, quality food and wine, exceptional service.
Food was delicious. Warm, friendly service with good knowledge of menu, only minor criticism: we weren’t asked if we wanted more drinks & just tricky getting their attention as a busy evening but highly recommend!
The staff & service was second to none. First visit to Botswana in QT and wow. We had a table of 10 on a busy Saturday night, everyone served & looked after incredibly well. The staff all very friendly & happy. Thank you so much. Very enjoyable!
We had a fantastic night however felt it was a shame one of us spent the night facing the wall (nearest vesta) understand the restaurant layout is to maximise seating so only a small comment otherwise we had a lovely night with beauty food
Great food Outstanding service
Such AMAZING FOOD. Great service
Food was excellent with my whitebait Spanish style wonderful and my venison superb. My wife adored the battered oysters we had as an entree. Had a fantastic Pisa Range Black Poplar Block pinot noire to accompany our main meals which is one of the best pinots I've ever had. It was that good I subsequently sourced it in Queenstown and ordered 6 bottles to be delivered to Australia in time for Christmas. Great meal and experience.
Had an amazing dinner! My steak was cooked perfectly! But let down by the duck fat potatoes that were tasteless, lacked crispness, and lacked fluffiness, and were instead like a lightly browned version of a plain boiled spud! But did appreciate them being taken off the bill and the waitress who was excellent.
Great service from our waiter who helper navigate the menu and advise on halal options. Really appreciated the additional effort. Cosy, comfortable and warm location.
Fabulous food and wine. Such a wonderful restaurant.
I couldn’t justify spending the money on most of the steaks, but the other main dishes were absolutely delicious and well worth the money
No visit to Queenstown would be complete without a visit to Botswana
Fantastic barman, fantastic waiter, fantastic food Waiter made our evening ,he is a keeper for your business
Excellent service and amazing food
Amazing dinner and ambiance was fantastic.
Cannot fault the food. My husband, father & I ordered very different main courses and desserts and we all loved everything we ate and could not fault it in any way. Perfectly cooked, beautifully balanced dishes. The only annoyance was a group drinking outside who smoked cigars; the smoke came inside the restaurant every time the door opened. The front door opened too often, which interrupted the relaxing atmosphere a little.
Wonderful attention from our waiter. She was very helpful with our food and wine choices.
The food was absolutely delicious & the waiting staff were friendly & knowledgeable. I will definitely come back here again!
Best restaurant in town!
Great spot by the window ! Lovely evening great service .
We had a really lovely dinner at Botswana but a few attention to detail was disappointing. We asked if they could provide raw carrots, cucumber and cherry tomatoes for the children in our party and it seemed to be no problem at all but it come out as a salad with lettuce etc. No bacon on the bacon wrapped eye fillet. Other than that, it was lovely.
Overall Botswana was an amazing experience. The food was fantastic and the location is in the heart of the city and right by the water. The only complaint was the service was rather slow, but when they were their they were rather attentive.
Friendly and knowledgable service staff, who made us feel very welcomed and have a better understanding of the menu. Thank you!
Overpriced for the quality of the food. Wagyu beef, lamb and mussels were just ok. The tuna was flavorless. The mash potatoes were yummy. We had to flag down our waitress numerous times. The restaurant itself is charming with great energy.
Delicious food, amazing staff and an ambient atmosphere.
