Fabulous food and service along with a lovely ambience... A highlight of our visit to Queenstown
our waitress was all time!!!!! .........food 10/10 wine list 8/10
Our meal, two eye fillets took one hour and twenty minutes to arrive - very d grade food
Excellent dinner and service. Would recommend Botswana butchery to friends and family.
The atmosphere was lovely and the service really good. I thought the wine was very overpriced. I also thought the entrees were over priced and I was expecting more. We had the scallops and the paua, and being a diver myself and having got my own fresh before and cooked them up I was a bit disappointed in the size and quality of the serve. I had the fillet mignon for main medium rare but unfortunately I couldnt eat all of it because it was too rare (almost blue) in the centre. Unfortunately I was disappointed and would not recommend this restaurant to others
Wonderful as always, consistently great in every area. Thankyou again
Overpriced. Geared towards tourist crowd and price reflects this. Food just acceptable.
Amazing food and even better service!
We had garlic butter on our steak, and the butter did not melt a single bit due to the cold temperature of the steak. Oysters were excellent.
I've been sending people here for years. it is amazing but there is a bit of hype attached to it now. It is still a cosy little restaurant worth visiting. My expectations were really high and it didn't quite hit the high standards I was hoping for - but still was a great night out. I'm also a bit annoyed that at an already expensive restaurant that we were expected to tip as well.... not a practice we appreciate in NZ... USA yes - but not NZ.
Outstanding restaurant and the best we visited in Queenstown.
Wonderful experience ! We are From Sydney and our son had been here on a holiday and dined at Botswana butchery - enjoyed so much when we booked our ski holiday in Queenstown he kindly booked your restaurant and he and his siblings gave it to us as a biirthday gift
Wonderful experience. Food was exquisite and service was excellent
Absolutely fabulous meal- from the Ab-Fab cocktail to dessert. Every course was stunning! Attentive and knowledgeable staff with particular thanks to our Italian waitress (sorry I don’t know her name).
We’ve been wanting to dine at BB for a long time and finally made it. Definitely worth the wait. Excellent dining experience!
Very knowledgeable staff regarding wine. Great service and really accommodating. Thanks for a lovely experience.
I found the rabbit pie to be a bit bland and the confit leg was over cooked. Other than that everything was great
The private dining is great for us and we throughly enjoying the hospitality
Food quality was ok but did not justify the high price. Starters included mushroom soup which was luke warm. I ordered the Lamb as a main which turned out to be a very small portion. The vegetables and mash were ok but nothing special. The accompanying jus was tasteless. My wife had the Steak from the little black book and whilst she thought it was nice - it was nothing special and again didn't justify the price tag. Annoying that we had to add in the sides - chips and coleslaw - again very overpriced and nothing we wouldn't expect to get from a burger bar. Service was excellent but Overall a very disappointing experience and not good value for money.
Great food and service
Anna our host was amazing as was the food and atmosphere. It is one of my favourite restaurants.
Great staff!! We’re family friendly as we had a baby with us.
Meet and greet at reception was off-hand by overly stressed English women dealing with crisis. Salvaged by another (more courteous and relaxed) member of staff. Waiting staff were great. Food fantastic. Sadly undone at the end by a lack of thank you no eye from same women that botched the meet and greet. Obviously dealing with something very important.
Awesome night...great food & service...highlight of our trip
