It's always special to visit BS, great food, friendly and good service - an ideal place to meet and spend time with friends. Next visit booked as we left.
This restaurant never fails to deliver excellent food in good surroundings. Good value delivered by a great team.
Lovely evening thank you. Had a birthday meal for 6 recently and the service and quality of food were both excellent as usual. Despite covid regulations meaning we had to sit outside, the restaurant area still felt special and was nice and warm with the heaters - almost like being abroad ! Great atmosphere, great evening
We had a fabulous evening. You've made a great job of getting the tent ready for re opening and your staff are great. The food was super and the service top notch
Amazing first night out after lockdown.
After nearly 4 months of a third lockdown you’d think the staff would be happy to be back working, but they all seemed quite unmotivated and unhappy which was a shame. No friendliness whatsoever. We were greeted by an older lady who was quite curt from the very off which put a dampener on things. Food was just ok. They’ve got rid of the fixed price menu so prices have increased massively. I saw a tomato and roasted pepper soup on the menu and asked for ‘the soup’ when our server came. Received a vegetable soup. On investigation I realised they had two soups on the menu, which was surprising. My fault I didn’t make sure I spelled out what I wanted, so be careful of this as you won’t be asked which one you want. We then had the beef Wellington, priced at nearly £30, described in the menu as ‘served pink’ but wasn’t. The vegetables were extra which was a bit of a joke. Overall our meal and drinks were £140 for lunch for the two of us. I’m used to a better experience for that price so was disappointing overall. Shame as it used to be a great little place.
A thoroughly good evening
Amazing outside venue warm heaters and loads of atmosphere, food is superb and wine selection also very good can’t fault you guys thanks for powering through
Amazing first dinner out post lockdown! Would visit again and have recommended to family and friends
Excellent meal as always. Felt safe even in these COVID times
We loved our meal. The waitressing staff were very friendly, and extremely helpful. The food was delicious and we can’t wait to go back
Fabulous coming out of lockdown birthday meal with my wife.
