Family owned International Tapas and Wine Bar in the heart of one of Chester's oldest surviving Medieval Inns. Seconds from The Story House and the perfect venue for parties big or small, romantic or for the family and kids. Everything cooked to order and made with love
visiting chester for the weekend and booked here because of the reviews , was quiet as it was a sunday but that suited us service 1st class very friendly welcoming staff , went for tapas which arrived quickly and was delicious no complaints and very reasonable
Had an outstanding meal here, each dish was really tasty and couldn't fault anything. Would definitely eat here agin
The food was amazing and the staff lovely. They made us feel very welcome and made our anniversary special. Fabulous restaurant.
Lovely tapas. Great service
Visited the Bluebell yesterday for dad and husbands birthdays, as always great service, food was excellent along with service. Usually have tapas here but opted for a hanging kebab, can certainly recommend it was delicious. Thank you all at the Bluebell for a lovely afternoon.
We had a beautiful evening at a table downstairs in this lovely old building. The food was served very hot and everything was delicious. There was a good variety of tapas to choose from and the prices were very reasonable. We enjoyed it very much!
Great food, great choice and all delicious!
Great little restaurant. Cosy and intimate. Food was fresh and served quickly. Only tiny issue was trying to pay at the end, but probably down to having to wait for the only card reader in the place. Overall great experience
I went for my graduation meal, our waitress was so lovely and the food was simply amazing. Will be back.
Staff were really friendly. Food was gorgeous and not long to wait for either. Will be back and will recommend.
Lovely tapas bar in Chester. The rose sangria was gorgeous and all the food was served fast and tasted lovely, especially the mandarin cheesecake!
First visit, fab food - appropriate price for portion size, well executed taste and presentation.
Had a great meal in nice surroundings.
Recommend to us by our Spanish friend .. and we can see why ! Everything we ate was delicious and authentic. We’ll definitely be returning !
First time off having Tapas and out was great! Delicious dishes and the puddings were to die for. Would love to come back again.
I booked for meal before the theatre. The staff were amazing - making sure we were served quickly and efficiently, but never rushed. And the food was all delicious. as was the red wine sangria. Highly recommended!!
Food is awesome and really not that expensive. Portions are a good size for tapas dishes. Inside is cozy and clean, lots of original features in this lovely old building. Was quiet when we went (first time we'd visited), other than that would have scored top marks.
Some of the best tapas I've had in a brilliant venue.
Waited 30 minutes for our starter, then the main course arrived first. They did apologise and did not charge for the starter. Food was great as always and staff very polite. Will return.
It was exactly what I expected , really great food and service all round , be visiting again
Enjoyed lunch with two friends and would certainly go again. Good selection of tapas and an excellent Rioja to go with them. My only real issue is the lack of draft beer. Bottled beer is always over priced.
Food fantastic and very reasonably priced. Loved the atmosphere/ambience and the service was brilliant. Just what I wanted for my partners birthday. Thank you!
Thank you so much for the way you handled my group booking yesterday evening. The whole event was just lovely in every way - food, service and everything. Highly recommended.
