About Blend Bromley
Steak, Fish and cocktails! Our restaurant that offers an informal dining experience with a new modern menu and a friendly, warm and vibrant atmosphere
This brunch was sold to us as having "2 hours of unlimited prosecco" yet we weren't served prosecco! It was some cheap fizzy wine, not worth the money. Food was good though, although not sure why we could only choose from the Christmas menu and not the normal brunch one
On behalf of the Direct Line Digital team, I would like to say a huge thank you to the staff at Blend Bromley. They all went out of their way to accommodate us, especially Becca and Maisy. We celebrated our Christmas party here and it couldn't have gone better. I would recommend the venue to anyone with a large party or just for a few drinks. Becca opened the bar on a Tuesday for the private hire, the only place in Bromley that offered me this service. As mentioned previously, lovely staff, great food, really good atmosphere. Cheers, Lew (Direct Line Group)
Have emailed in, no response. we left after 30 minutes due to having no wine and serving a fake prosecco at an advertised prosecco brunch.
The food was absolutely fantastic best steak I’ve ever eaten and trust me I’ve had plenty of steaks so compliments to the chef
I have been to blend for both the brunch and standard menu and each time the food is great! This time there was a disappointment...we were given a frizzecco - which straight away is sweet and nothing like prosecco - and After Googling is 5.5% Perry at approx £3 a bottle. I asked one of the members of staff if we can have prosecco to be told that they only had 100 bottles of frizzecco to “get rid off” and no prosecco due to a delivery mix up. We carried on and I noticed the larger group next to us were clearly on the same brunch as us but were being given prosecco! I asked a second lady as she had some in her hand and again was told no we don’t have any. I pushed again for even 1 glass and she said okay but we only have 6 bottles in the Whole restaurant....then we started counting! at this point we got a little annoyed. There was way over 6 bottles being served one the one Big table alone. At this point Our server continues to top up with the prosecco which I must say saved the whole experience as we only wanted what was advertised and what I had paid for. The food was great, the entertainment was great but the cheap Perry was awful and to be told we have none but the larger group could have as much as they wanted was not fair. Over all I would still return but sadly because of this experience I wouldn’t rate 5 out of 5.
We had a fantastic night at Blend, service, food and atmosphere were great, would definitely recommend.
The service was slow, we had to constantly ask for our top ups on the free flowing prosecco, I have been other places where we have never asked as they keep an eye on us and keep glasses topped up.
they opened especially on Tuesdays for Christmas bookings which suited my team perfectly & we were the only ones there for a while. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating.
We were quite disappointed with our visit to Blend. We had been recommended the Blend brunch because of the food and unlimited prosecco. First off all we arrived and we were served 'Fizzecco' which is basically a cheap, less alcoholic version of prosecco. We complained about this and was told that we had no option as this is what came in their latest delivery and they had to finish it up. Well we would at least expect some money reduced off our bill (seen as a bottle of this costs £3 in Tesco!) but we still had to pay full price. The next disappointment of the evening was the food. We were told we could have the normal brunch menu but when we arrived we were only given the option to have the festive menu. I had the roast turkey (not really brunch food!). Also a friend in our party has a gluten allergy. She asked the staff which food they could recommend that had no gluten in and they could not assist. She ended up having the pasta as all of the options had gluten in them. The pasta came out and was tasteless. Even the staff tried this and agreed. Whilst they did give her a dessert to apologise, this was quite frustrating. The waitress we had was really nice and I felt sorry for her as it was not her fault, but overall we did not rate this brunch at all.
Very disappointed went with group of friends/colleagues to celebrate from david lloyd gym we had the set Christmas menu didnt like the starters they had on set menu ask for the normal menu was told they were only doing the Christmas set menu which was ridiculous as the place was not busy at all!! very overrated and over priced. Cocktails are not good at all!! ordered a pina colada tasted like milkshake asked for another different cocktail could not taste any alcohol all very sweet ended up having rum and coke which wasn't strong at all!! Sorry will not be recommending this place to anyone.
The food came up cold, when we sent it back the stakes then came back out slightly warmer but just reheated not new dishes, the third attempt the steak were too overdone. The manageress was only going to offer a free drink each we had to argue to get some money off the bill. The whole experience was bad, the food was average and drinks over priced.
I was very disapointed with the food. Although there was a very good choice, in fact to the point where i couldnt eat it. The turkey was dry, the pigs in blankets were almost white in colour, the brussels were like slop. The people that had the pasta said there was no flavour at all and the fish was dry too. However one person had the steak and enjoyed it. The service in the bar was horrendous, at one point we actually waited over 15 minutes for a drink. On your website it states that men have to wear shoes, when in reality its ok for men to wear tracksuits and trainers!!
We enjoyed our meal and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Just surprised it was so quiet.
Food was lovely. Service was okay had to ask for drinks a few times. For a Christmas dinner no crackers on the table or table decorations. No Christmas music or variety of music. Drugs being taken in the loos obviously. Table next to us girl was sick and fitting then was fine. Probably something to do with drugs. Not great when trying to eat your dinner !
Amazing as always. Friendly, yet professional staff. Everyone, myself included enjoyed our food and drinks. Definitely coming back.
Not enough choice of veg with Sunday dinner
Had such a nice time. A few hichups with the lack of alcohol but the manager had stafg ho out and get what we required. Food took a long time to come to the table, but they where under staffed and we where a large group. Becca quickly sorted this issue. All the staff where friendly and happy to help. Will definitely be returning. Thank you.
If your having the bottomless prosecco then it is brilliant value for money, however 2 of us are pregnant so have no choice but to not drink yet had to still pay the same amount as all the other girls. I think there should be a separate non alcoholic option or at least be able to swap the alcohol for all 3 courses. Just a little something more as we were not touching any alcohol and not drinking soft drink after soft drink because no one really does that. Other than that it was fine.
Hair in food, food underhemlming and they didnt have what was on the menu although we were the only people in there!!!
Fabulous afternoon having the free flowing brunch
Thank you for yet another fab baby shower. No request was too much and the food was delicious. My gluten free cheesecake was amazing.
The service was good, we been served by a lady and one of a new starters ( boy) he was really good very polite and helpful. So well done to him providing good customer service.
Amazing food and service as always!
It was empty in there apart from us and one other table but that suited us. I didn’t get his name but there was a guy with Afro hair and had his hair tied up. He was ever so helpful, polite and on the ball. And our waitress was helpful and efficient too. Food was lovely and definitely value for money.
burger buns as the bread starter... one meal 'wasnt presentable' so had to wait for it, 3/4 meals had already come out... hair in a chicken meal. unbelievably slow service considering the restaurant was pretty empty. asked for hendrix and without being told was given 'beefeater' the whole evening at blend was a mess from start to finish.
