About Blas Restaurant
Meaning ‘Taste’ in Welsh, Blas was born out of the vision for its home, Twr y Felin. The dishes reflect the interior design, the food is creative, flavour filled, experimental; the presentation is ‘art on a plate’.
Ambient mood lighting highlights some of the hotels most divisive artworks, creating a space that influences the emotions and is space to engage in the present.
The menu offers contemporary dining, inspired by the season and locality, echoing Wales and its produce. Carefully sourced from predominantly Pembrokeshire and Welsh suppliers, the raw ingredients are fresh and originate from the surrounding countryside and coast.
Wales is famous for its lamb, but Pembrokeshire Black Beef, duck and fowl are farmed locally and feature regularly; whilst lobster, crab, mussels, clams and many species of fish are caught daily in the surrounding seas. Foraging rewards the team with ingredients such as samphire and laverbread.
From the windmill, you can see lush green fields above Caerfai Bay, dotted with a herd of grazing dairy cows. It is their milk that the local farmer churns into Cheddar and Caerphilly organic cheese, and is a must to taste.
For a true culinary experience and a feast for the senses, don’t miss it.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can really recommend the 'Blas' Restaurant. Only downside was the running out of Monkey 47 Gin in the bar. Looking forward to our next visit.

Excellent food, bwyd gwych! Really enjoyed the octopus with chilli ketchup and olive caramel and the curried cod was superb.... Spicy with great accompaniments. £50 a head for 3 courses and amuse bouche, plenty of wines by the glass. Thanks/Diolch yn fawr to Krys and the team and the chefs. Well done!

Sublime food, slightly on the expensive side but I’d still return. Don’t eat here if you’re after pub food.

The table service was excellent as was the food. However the member of staff serving us would have benefitted from more training so that he could explain the menu to us - in particular what chocolate and popcorn was - and tell us where the baby changing facilities were located.

The provenance of the food on the menu is stated and it’s all locally sourced. The daily dinner menu is relatively small but has sufficient options. My wife vegetarian and her precise dietary needs were checked when booking and at the table. An excellent start. The ingredients are of the very highest quality and cooked to perfection. Flavour combinations delight- my starter was quail served with beetroot, artichoke and quinoa and was superb. My wife has been vegetarian for forty years and described her goats cheese starter as the best vegetarian plate she had ever been served. We can’t wait to return.

Food was beautifully presented and of exceptional quality. We were impressed with the attention and care that the staff took to accommodate us. we had a Vegan member of our party and the chef created a separate menu for him. Dining here was a wonderful experience and truly relaxing.

Absolutely outstanding dining experience. Attentive staff, great local ingredients and an inventive menu. We stayed for two nights, the lobster was divine, but the halibut was the best plate of fish I have ever tasted. Perfectly balanced. A great all-round couple of evenings and I strongly recommend staying in the hotel. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

We have stayed at Tŵr y Felin three times and always eat at the Blas restaurant. Each time we dine there we are blown away by the restaurant. The staff are fantastic- from the member of staff who greets us, the person behind the bar, the person who seats us, the waiters and waitresses and all other staff who are a part of the experience. They create a welcoming and delightful atmosphere which ensures an excellent experience. The menu is always fantastic and the food is always exquisite. Last night was the first time we visited since getting married three weeks ago and at the end of our meal the chef sent out a ‘congratulations’ plate with some sweet delicacies. We were incredibly touched. We can’t recommend Blas restaurant enough and will definitely be back very soon.
