Black Sheep Bistro opened in September 2010 and is family owned and staffed. We pride ourselves on producing fantastic homemade food with brilliant service.
Located on a cobblestone residential street at St Georges Cross we are a little off the beaten track but with on street parking and plenty of links to public transport, we are easily accessible.
excellent food, fresh and very tasty.
Great value for money, excellent food and cosy laid back atmosphere!
Beautiful meal the service was excellent we will be back thanks again x
Great menu, fantastic food and friendly staff what else do you want? We will back (again!)
1st visit to Bistro on friends recommendation. Exceeded my expectations which were already high! Choice and quality of food was excellent. Fantastic value and Highly recommend. Thanks
Food was great, only thing was that it was a second choice on the menu again for the second time.
Lovely food & wonderful service as always. Highly recommend
Great Scottish food, decent portions at a great price! A full house when we were in, and staff and service were excellent! 🙂
Excellent food and service, very good value. The only very slight criticism is it was a little bit cool (to be fair, it was a cold and windy night), but not to the extent that it spoiled the evening.
Meal was lovely and was enjoyed by all and will return especially with the 2 course special deals
We love the black sheep bistro , food is always amazing and the staff were lovely . Shout out to the big waiter who has a way with words he was really funny . Another excellent meal had by all well done
Love it! Staff are all super friendly and they definetly add to the warm cozy vibe of the place. Food is fantastic value - portions are very generous and very tasty! My friend is veggie and loved the variety in your veggie offering! So much so she struggled to decide. Just about left room for dessert and if we hadn't been so full we would have attempted a mini platter to try a few. Always leave room for dessert! YUM!
We recently visited to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. The food was fabulous. Staff were very welcoming and efficient. We'd like to extend a big thanks to the proprietor for the kindness shown to us. The wee box of goodies was out of this world! Many thanks.
Fantastic night, food lovely. Great service. A real family feel. You instantly get the feeling the staff care about their job and the restaurant
Fantastic! Great food and excellent service.
The only thing which i thought could have been improved on was when ordering soup. The bread with the soup could be of a different type. My preference would be crusty bread, rather than soft loaf bread. I believe if that was served with soup. I would say the Bistro is Flawless.
Another fab visit to this weee gem of a restaurant my mum and I loved it.
What a lovely place. The entree of baked carmenbert was divine and both the beer battered haddock and the steak pie was winners. Both food and drink was really well made and tasted soo good. Atmosphere is great. Cozy and vibrant. I wish I lived in Glasgow so I could visit more. Defenitly worth the walk from city center.
Fantastic wee place. Wonderful food and excellent friendly service. I would however suggest that £6.70 for a Glasgow-sourced craft beer (with only Peroni as an alternative) is taking the Mick.
Fabulous food and service as always. Have visited many times before but first time for family members who were very very impressed with the vast menu choices, quality and quantity of food. Only disappointment was they couldn’t manage a dessert!! Vowed to return in the near future to sample the desert menu.
Brilliant food large portions with excellent service
Great food, friendly, helpful staff. Look forward to my next visit.
The usual very high standard at the Black Sheep. Still the best restaurant in Glasgow.
After intending to go for ages I finally got to the black sheep bistro and wasn’t disappointed. The bistro is cosy, service is great and was super impressed by the food. I’d highly recommend the haddock with pancetta and pesto, beautiful!
Food was lovely but the beef wasn't ready for the 5pm sitting and no gluten free bread available despite being on the menu which was also disappointing.
