About Bistro Pierre
Authentic French restaurants are few and far between these days but Bistro Pierre delivers in true Gallic style. You’ll find this vibrant, inner-city eaterie in the heart of Liverpool’s Cavern Quarter near the world famous Mathew Street, in an old warehouse building which with its wooden floors and exposed brickwork has readily transformed itself into a rustic French bistro. Service is relaxed, warm and friendly.
Excellent service and food at reasonable prices
The second visit to Liverpool and Bistro Pierre. Both times the pre-theatre meal was excellent value for money and top quality.
The girl that collected us from the reception area was not friendly. It all started when I asked why we were not been given the lunch time menus as when booking online this time slot is still considered lunch at 4pm and partly why my friend and I chose this time. We had an argumentative answer back and then once we were led to a table and we asked could we sit outside as the weather was gorgeous again a negative response and moaning the tables were not set up outside but if we really wanted to we could. As I had eaten here and the one in Kidderminster before and how the food and service can be we preserved rather than walking out. Thankfully this young lady was only to be seen one more time in our time there and the young lady we did have was fantastic!! A young man came out and asked why we had moaned about not having the lunch time menu, he explained it now finished at 3:45pm and I pointed out if this is the case then update your website because as far as we are concerned it is false advertising and whilst we never pushed this any further we felt it should have been lunch time price given on our bill at the end.
I preferred the French music you had in the background. A waitress told me it had been changed.
The food is delicious although the choice isn't as good on the lunch menu as the evening one. Excellent value for money though!! Love this restaurant!!
Another great meal at Bistro Pierre
Lovely night as usual!
Great freshly cooked food and friendly service
Went for the pre-theatre meal, excellent value for money. Staff were great and friendly. Will return, thank you!
Delicious food friendly attentive staff lovely relaxed atmosphere very French experience indeed
Food good value for money on the lunch time menu. Dessert choice fantastic. Cocktails quite expensive for the size of the drink. Elderflower prosecco cocktail £5.75 containing less alcohol but in the same size glass as ordering a prosecco priced at £3.75. Service great. Asked for a bottle of water but it was warm so needed to ask for ice. Restaurant themed lovely with some unique touches. Would visit again.
Excellent as always
Great food and friendly service. A lovely atmosphere. Also really nice to receive a free bottle prosecco for our wedding anniversary We Always visit this restaurant when we stay in Liverpool.
Our very favourite place to eat when in Liverpool. Never disappointed.
Had a very enjoyable birthday lunch. Worth the journey from Manchester.
we really enjoyed our recent visit, absolutely no complaints, thanks x
Excellent service and food
We had the wine and dine offer. Lovely food nice wine. Great value. Been many times will be back many times to come
Have been coming here for years. One of my favourite restaurants anywhere, just love it xx
There are certainly plenty of choices if you want to eat lunch in central Liverpool and Bistro Pierre is one of our "go to" restaurants. It's "genuine" French bistro-style throughout. Lovely atmosphere, great food and unbelievable value for money, there's nothing not to like. If you like proper food cooked by real chefs, rather that piles of deep-fried carbs, then this is definitely for you.
We had a lovely meal from the early bird menu and we were very pleasantly surprised by the price and value for money. The wine list was good value and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Service was quietly efficient. All in all we had a smashing meal.
Hi I have been to your restaurant on many occasions and always recommend it to family and friends. We visited on Saturday evening with my family as my son lives in Tenerife and he was home for a holiday. The food and service was excellent. We are never disappointed. My son who ha a catering business in Tenerife was very impressed with the food, atmosphere and the service For me the customer service is so important and so far you have that right. Hoe this helps and pass my words on to your staff. Thanks
