About Bistro Pierre
Authentic French restaurants are few and far between these days but Bistro Pierre delivers in true Gallic style. You’ll find this vibrant, inner-city eaterie in the heart of Liverpool’s Cavern Quarter near the world famous Mathew Street, in an old warehouse building which with its wooden floors and exposed brickwork has readily transformed itself into a rustic French bistro. Service is relaxed, warm and friendly.
I booked a place and got a confirmation email and when I arrived the place was closed!!!! Very disappointed.
My booking was cancelled due to liverpool going into tier 3 on the 30th dec ....tho i just wanna say i’ve been to this place numerous times .. the food is always fresh on time tasty an the service amazing! So in a time were the world seems a crazy place and staff being told the following day they have no work people have bills to pay and lives still to live .. a little kindness goes a long way! So thankyou for always being amazing and im looking forward to returning again!
Fabulous food excellent service All socially distanced thank you
Fantastic food and great service, in a lovely place. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended. I will definitely return! I haven't been for a few years and had forgotten how good it was. I won't leave it so long next time!
Friendly staff on arrival, lovely food , tasty starter and main with good hospitable service. Enjoyed our lunch. Good value
The food was exceptional, staff very warm & attentive. Great value for money! I would defiantly recommend Bistro Pierre and will most certainly be a regular customer from now on. Thank you to all the staff for making our evening a truly memorable night. Amanda Dillon
Lovely place, lovely good and good service.
Absolutely gorgeous food my favourite place to eat
This was my second visit and I just love the place and atmosphere. Definitely recommend.
We had a lovely time - the food was yummy, friendly staff & a warm atmosphere. We will be back! Thank you.
We liked it so much! We intend back pretty soon to prove new dishes!
Lovely pre Christmas menu
Excellent food and service as always
Excellent food and great value for money.
Lovely meal as always
Lovely food but would have preferred more choice on the set menu.
Normally we have the best experience at Liverpool’s Bistro Pierre, amazing atmosphere and delicious food. This time the food was just awful. I ordered a winter pumpkin and beetroot Tagine, what ever came out was a just a bowl of bland cous cous. No pumpkin and a tiny bit of beetroot. My partners chicken was supposed to be pesto only it was more mushroom sauce with no pesto in sight. The chicken was also cold in places like it had been reheated. I know this is not the best way to complain however on the night we were governed by a train to catch as well as being hungry so just ate some of it and didn’t say anything. The staff were just lovely, very attentive, working in difficult times. It’s the food that was just a massive let down. Really disappointed as this was always my our go to place for a great meal.
Thoroughly enjoyable time had. No complaints at all 👍
Fab as always. Chowder starter divine and apple crumble naughty but very nice!
Great food and atmosphere
We had a lovely waitress that made out dining experience even more enjoyable
We visited bistro Pierre for a meal on our first wedding anniversary. We were given a lovely little table with a few of the street below and we were also given a complimentary glass of fizz each!! So incredibly thoughtful and much appreciated. The service was attentive and comfortable and the food was just delicious! We wi definitely be coming back and have already recommended to friends, family and colleagues.
I have been going to this restaurant for years but very disappointed on Saturday,7th March! No longer pre-theatre although when I booked on line not clear!!! I mentioned this to a staff member & was shown the deal on his laptop. When I booked this was not the case because if so would not have booked!! It was for 5.30 pm. Our meal cost us a lot more than planned so very disappointed. I had already booked for Tuesday, 10th March & still went but again disappointed!!! Menu has changed with a limited choice not the same when you could pick off main menu. You may have to rethink as very quiet in your restaurant especially with all that is going on!!!! You should in my opinion have let us have pre-theatre on Saturday!! Regards Barbara Jones
Came again on Saturday and we were treated like royalty thank you, also the food was fabulous as usual. See you all again soon
