About Bistro Pierre
Authentic French restaurants are few and far between these days but Bistro Pierre delivers in true Gallic style. You’ll find this vibrant, inner-city eaterie in the heart of Liverpool’s Cavern Quarter near the world famous Mathew Street, in an old warehouse building which with its wooden floors and exposed brickwork has readily transformed itself into a rustic French bistro. Service is relaxed, warm and friendly.
The only reason I did not give 5 stars for the food was that the plates were not hot. I feel that hot food should be served on hot plates. Otherwise everything was very good.
Absolutely perfect I have been going to Pierre Bistro for years. xxx
Excellent- really good value for money and great service
Wonderful restaurant and great food. Look forward to the next time.
2 courses and a bottle of wine each, who can go wrong,
Gorgeous vegan meal and great to get a desert that isn’t sorbet.
Always great. That’s why we keep coming back.
Great pre- theatre dining
Great restaurant very dimly lit. Excellent service and food.
I have in the past made some comments on the size of the portions (small).. but have to say our food was delicious and ample portions last Sunday. Love your place and will be back soon.
I have been coming here for years and introduced a few more friends last Saturday who were all very impressed and want to come again
Personally wasn’t keen on the houmous but our party of 6 really enjoyed our email. Steak, chicken and salmon main courses, all fab
A good meal service and atmosphere , everyone in our party had a good time .
Enjoyed our stay very much
My friend and I have been coming for several years every time we visit Liverpool. It has everything we need -Great food, great service, good wine and a lovely French ambience. Starting to find the stairs up to the restaurant a bit steep but small price to pay for the experience.
I’ve been many times to this bistro but I don’t think the food was as good as has been on the past. It is good value for money but I don’t think the combo of the fish cakes and pineapple chutney go at all. And the fish cakes were only lightly cooked. Not the best at all
Excellent service, good food we always like to call for a meal, be back soon.
I would not go anywhere else before the theatre.
A great meal with friends who were visiting Liverpool. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Really tasty and great value .
A relaxing busy restaurant staff attentive food excellent standard and good value. Personally I find the chair height and table height incapatible with each other...tables a just a little too low
Food amazing. Lovely staff. Friendly atmosphere. Always a pleasant visit.
Excellent food service and value for money
Quiet period, pleasant greeting and directed to a table next to a window. Nice timing between being offered the menu and the order being taken. Food served promptly, well prepared. Never felt rushed but bill presented when requested. We will return.
