About Bistro Pierre
Authentic French restaurants are few and far between these days but Bistro Pierre delivers in true Gallic style. You’ll find this vibrant, inner-city eaterie in the heart of Liverpool’s Cavern Quarter near the world famous Mathew Street, in an old warehouse building which with its wooden floors and exposed brickwork has readily transformed itself into a rustic French bistro. Service is relaxed, warm and friendly.
Lovely restaurant with wonderful atmosphere and delightful food. Great value for money. Enjoyed the whole experience.
An enjoyable experience.
Excellent meal deal and the wine was delicious too We really enjoyed sharing the pate and Erin mess and our mains of entrecôte steak and salmon we excellent and cooked to perfection Can’t wait to visit again Thanks to the lovely staff too
Wine Tuesday and Wednesday still good value even though it's gone up. they don't serve you bread any more Which used to be a nice touch and made it even more authentic
It was our wedding anniversary so we wanted something special. Bistro Pierre was everything we hoped it would be. The place looks as it says an authentic French restaurant and the food was excellent. I hope we have cause to go to Liverpool again because we would love to eat here again.
Always a pleasure to dine in Bistro Pierre, great food with very helpful and friendly staff. Brilliant value in a jewel of a place off the beaten track. Highly recommend this place to family and friends. Great for all occasions including lunch and evening dining.
Great meal and service as usual.
A true hidden secret in the heart of Liverpool. Great food. Thank you
Wonderful food and friendly service, excellent value for money, will come again😊
I’ve been to this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed with the food or service. On Thursday evening I was accompanied by a group of friends who were dining here for the first time, they were impressed with the choice, quality, competitive prices and excellent service and will definitely be making a return visit.
Fabulous as ever! My favourite table reserved without even asking. Thank you
Hi Both salad starters were tasty and set us up nicely for the main meals. Unfortunately, the frittata was rubbery and delivered little in terms of texture and taste. The veg was either over cooked or under done and the dauphinois potatoes were hard and raw. The beef stew was decent to be fair. Deep and rich. However, the lasting memory was a frittata that resembled a bite of a trampoline rather than a lovely, soft egg ensemble.
Have been a regular customer for about 25 years, as far back as Pierre Victoire days. My only criticism is that the vegetables served with the lunch menu have not changed in all that time, as far as I can see. Fed up with red cabbage! What about some plain cabbage/peas/green beans/fried onions for example? Staff are always helpful and tolerant of our parties of 6-10 verbose and bibulous old fogies.
Not been to Bistro Pierre since the change in ownership we were pleased to find everything is at least as good as before,, great food....., perfect steak, great choice and fantastic value with the wine and dine deal .
