About Bistro Franc
The heart of Paris in the centre of Liverpool. Bistro Franc features daily stylish menus you will talk about and trust. Part of the Bistro Qui? family of restaurants.
First visit. Lovely food, friendly staff. Will visit again. Fantastic value for money
Excellent friendly efficient service from attentive but not intrusive staff. Food served piping hot and quickly. We ate from a la Carte menu using 50% so excellent value Added bonus was live music from a singer and guitarist. Highly recommended.
The pate was nearly liquid, yuk , the vege terrine very good,as was the beaujolais. Overall you meet your price point.
Excellent service and food.
The bill was wrong 3 times, with items, that we had not ordered, added. The original bill was double the amount we were expecting to pay.. Very disappointing as Bistro franc had always been my 'go to' favourite restaurant.
Cold veg, over cooked turkey. Salad with no dressing as you had run out. Sticky toffee pudding that had been in the microwave too long. And not much toffee sauce. Waitress worked really hard but obviously understaffed. Table not set, no crackers etc. Shame i have been a loyal customer for many years.
Enjoyed the festive atmosphere with good food and helpful service. Happy to adapt the menu for us as we didn't need 3 courses. Thank you!
Always great food , & service my fave place to eat thoroughly recommend
Very dissatisfied! Extremely poor/slow service. Not asked if we'd like drinks before the meal order was taken. No bread served although some diners within our party of five had soup. Belly pork was ordered as the mains which was inedible as it was very tough and undercooked. Changed it for pasta dish which was 'ok'. Crockery and cutlery remained on our table long after we'd finished and only removed just prior to our desserts. This was a birthday celebration and the 'birthday girl' specifically asked to dine at Bistro Franc's. What a disappointment for us all!
The food was jusr ‘ok’. I had pate to start, it was just lumped onto my platet without thought with burnt toast. My seabass main was small, cooked to an average standard but not filling at all. I did not choose to have dessert. Very dissapointing meal for me sorry.
I am writing this review because we had the most disappointing experience with you. After visiting every xmas for our works xmas meal for the last 5 years I'm sorry to say we shall not be returning. The food and service we received was to say the least abismal!!! I complained to the manager several times during our visit, there was an hour and twenty minute wait until we even got our starters, mains were sent back twice, beef was either non existent or chewy gristle! No xmas crackers, no water or bread on table, sticky toffee pudding you could stand your spoon upright in it was like rubber! Overall we felt so let down it ruined our xmas works day out!
Another lovely meal good food, great service and value thank you
We booked for the start and end of holiday and thoroughly enjoyed both visits.
Fast becoming our favourite Liverpool restaurant when we visit to see a show or shopping trip
Been many times, great special offer menus. Portions have got smaller, not sure if much increase in price so would suggest the portions be increased slightly, even if for a small hike in price. The service wasn't great this time. It was very busy and we waited a long time for drinks and the bill so would say there was not enough staff on at this busy time.
Delightful evening for my self and my mum. Place was bulging at the seems at one point and the service wAs still amazing. Thanks
Lovely. Food was great and extremely good value
Worst mushroom risotto I have ever tasted
Excellent as always. Great atmosphere, and the festive decor added to this. Staff were lovely - especially in accommodating our request for an earlier table than booked
Good food and service, lunch rapide excellent value
As ever a warm welcome from friendly staff. Lovely food at a reasonable price. Always our favourite place to visit before the theatre
Love this place although Sunday was NOT a good experience. I had taken 4 friends before a concert booked for 5pm concert started at 730. The service was so slow that we were unable to have deserts. We complained and were offered complimentary deserts!!!! We were given a complimentary bottle of wine. Very disappointed. You offer a pre theatre dinner but was unable to fulfill it due to ?? Shortage of staff. All staff were very apologetic and polite at all times.
The Sunday night Wine and Dine offer is outstanding value!
Excellent venue for informal meeting, great decor, good food and service. Bistro Franc is very very reasonably priced for a city centre location. Never been disappointed. Highly recommend. On this occasion, I can only give 4 stars for atmosphere as the table next to us got rather loud and silly as the evening progressed and their drinks flowed. I think the management should have noticed and intervened.
