Loved our visit to Bistro Franc. Great staff and the food and drink was lovely. Cant wait to return.
Fabulous meal and lovely setting. Will be back. I think it would be helpful to explain what sides come with each dish. I ordered chicken supreme and a side dish of dauphinoise, however it came with vegetables and potatoes not stated on the menu.
Lovely food , settings and service
I would recommend Bistro Franc, the food and drink quality is always excellent. The only thing that’s disappointing is the service of drinks is always slow, you have to order in advance to compensate for this.
This is the 3rd time we have visited and we won’t be returning. The place was very quiet therefore it lacked atmosphere. The toilets were filthy! The food wasn’t of a good standard at all and then we got overcharged by £50.00! The only saving grace was that all the staff were lovely and they made the evening for us. It’s a shame because I can’t see it being open for much longer with the amount of competition in that area. We will be trying somewhere else next time.
Although the service got 4 stars it would have been 5 and that was because we waited an hour for our main course. Saying that this is a lovely restaurant with great food.
Excellent place we go all the time for special occasions and just for a nice meal highly recommend
Brilliant atmospheric venue & dining, service & food quality excellent. Good vfm restaurant & highly recommended to all, you won't be disappointed.
First time back to Bistro F this year due to the current climate, but as usual didn't let me down, still great service, lovely atmosphere and fantastic food that is great value. Keep up to good work,
Cannot fault bistro franc. It’s had a refurb too which added to a very lovely evening. Booked the bistro Pierre next
Not been for a while we were left feeling disappointed. Pre-theatre menu different from the one on web site so chose from the al a cartel menu. Unfortunately the food was disappointing I don’t know wether other places have moved forward and Bistro Franc has stood still but you can get better food for the same price at many places.
The meal was most enjoyable and all covid safety measures were in place.
Lovely meal and very attentive service. Low score on atmosphere as it was probably the time of day. Not a lot of customers.
I love this place. Great food and atmosphere at a good price. Would always recommend.
As usual quality of food and service excellent!
Great place for a pre-theatre meal, food is amazing and service is very attentive.
Food quality & service is excellent
we have been many times to Bistro Franc, always excellent.
Very good service and value for money.
Service was poor I am afraid. Long wait for drinks. From where I sat I could see our food order waiting to be brought to our table. It took over 7 minutes from the time it was placed on the counter to the time we got it. Not as hot as it could be. The chef had to press his bell a number of times to get attention. Couple next to us waited 15 minutes after being seated to get a menu or an order for drinks. No soap in the ladies toilets, hand drier didn't work no paper towels. Covid 19 secure I doubt it. Fire alarm went off for 5 ear splitting minutes. Overall not a very good experience I am afraid.
Never had a bad meal at Bistro Franc .. I had the salmon then the belly pork . I loved the salmon so much I asked could I have again for my pudding so good . Thank you x
Good safety measures in place over Covid, Staff and meal wonderful definitely go again.
Fabulous service and lovely to see the old friendly staff back again and same delicious food.
Lovely food, great atmosphere and very polite and attentive staff. We loved it, and will definitely be coming back!
Been a few times and have never had an issue with the service or the food quality. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Would recommend.
