About Biscuiteers Notting Hill Icing Cafe
Our Notting Hill Boutique & Icing Café opened its doors in 2012 and is filled with all of our beautiful hand iced gifts. From biscuits to cakes, cupcakes to chocolates our shop has got the perfect pressies for all.
It is also home to the first Biscuiteers Icing School, so you too can learn to become a Biscuiteer. With our two hour classes, full on masterclasses or our DIY Icing Café, you’ll leave with lots of tips and techniques from our expert icers and, of course, biscuits.
Come and visit us for afternoon tea - a celebration of all things Biscuiteers and everything sweet, the tea includes miniature versions of our most loved cakes and patisseries in beautiful flavours, alongside our famous iced biscuits.
I think you should offer 4-5 biscuits for the icing cafe, as 3 looks a little tight. Service generally ok, but there is quite a bit of shouting between the two floors - perhaps you should get a better way of communicating? :-)
We were quite disappointed in this biscuit decorating class...there was no instruction, very few materials, and really just nothing special about the class at all. For GBP 18 we were expecting something much better.
Loved our Afternoon Tea and DIY Icing activity - Suzanne could not have been more helpful in booking the day for us and making sure we had a wonderful time. Thank you!
It’s a shame fill icing is not available in the DIY cafe - and it seemed the amount of guidance you were given at the start varied a lot depending on who gave it
The people that were working were so friendly and helpful and made the decorating session even more enjoyable
Really lovely experience at the DIY icing cafe. Lovely and very helpful staff. My niece loved it, as did I!
The children were given materials and just left to get in with it. There was no instruction, no involvement whatsoever from staff.
Very friendly people and delicious cookies
Very very expensive for what it is- it is certainly not a £30 experience- we were squished into a corner where it was difficult to get out and had to keep getting up to ask for more tea. Beautiful cakes but we had assumed (wrongly) that we would also get some lovely little tea-time sandwiches too- altogether extremely disappointing. No-one even came to ask how things were.
My friend had never experienced an "Afternoon Tea" before, so we searched online for tips. We wanted something in the Notting Hill area, and even though Biscuiteers doesn't offer the traditional afternoon tea (all sweets), it was amazing! Every bite looked amazing and tasted great. And even better: being pregnant, I could still eat everything because they make it with pasteurized egg! Will definitely come again, AND we both bought iced cookies for the husbands waiting at home.
We really enjoyed out icing cafe session. A quiet, thoroughly enjoyable together, with the bonus of enjoying the delicious biscuits when we got home!
I had a great time icing cookies! The staff was very nice and friendly. I would highly recommend the experience!
The afternoon tea was nice but there was no sandwiches, which is really what it’s missing!!
Really lovely afternoon & such a great team. Thanks for having us
Really sweet, for such a fun concept, there could be much more of a fun atmosphere, especially when there are children around. Value for money is questionable, to just take three biscuits home. Really great fun otherwise! Second time doing a DIY session
Enjoyed the biscuits and the environment as well as the service received however feel that the price I paid was slightly higher than usual
It's lovely. Staffs were very friendly and very accommodating. Thank you
We had a lovely afternoon at Biscuiteers. Our afternoon tea was lovely. Great food and great service. Thank you
Definitely worth a visit, the shop and staff are adorable. Biscuits are fab but afternoon tea is not great. The scones a little stodgy and the cakes, apart from the rhubarb tart, tasted synthetic. Such a shame, everything else is so delightful.
I just felt that £30 was a bit expensive and i would recommend that you just go to the cafe and have tea and cakes and biscuits. I paid £120 for 4 people and that was too much for a scone, a daisy biscuit and a small selection of small cakes. There was nobody else there but we had a pleasant hour but not an Afternoon Tea as we know it.
Very nice cakes, but I would have liked sandwiches too
Exceptional customer care, beautiful presentation and so tasty! Really friendly and perfect for a special afternoom tea!
Had a wonderful time at Biscuiteers! Been to both locations and did two different experiences: one was the evening cafe with an instructor and the other was in the afternoon without an instructor. Both were great fun. I would recommend the 1.5 hour evening class first so you'll know what you're doing. At the Notting Hill location, Paola found out we were headed to Spain and wrote down things for us to not miss. Lots of great conversation, tea, and, as well call them here in the States, cookies.
Kids had a great time with the icing decoration. Very friendly staff.
