About Biscuiteers Notting Hill Icing Cafe
We've moved our booking system! You can browse all our events here: https://www.biscuiteers.com/boutique-icing-cafe
Our Notting Hill Boutique & Icing Café opened its doors in 2012 and is filled with all of our beautiful hand iced gifts. From biscuits to cakes, cupcakes to chocolates our shop has got the perfect pressies for all.
It is also home to the first Biscuiteers Icing School, so you too can learn to become a Biscuiteer. With our two hour classes, full on masterclasses or our DIY Icing Café, you’ll leave with lots of tips and techniques from our expert icers and, of course, biscuits.
Come and visit us for afternoon tea - a celebration of all things Biscuiteers and everything sweet, the tea includes miniature versions of our most loved cakes and patisseries in beautiful flavours, alongside our famous iced biscuits.
My grandchildren girl 12 and boy 9 really had a lovely time.
I bought this as an 18th present for my friend. We had a great time decorating our biscuits, I would definitely do this again.
A really lovely way to spend quality time with my sister. Wonderful service and we were so pleased and surprised by the results we managed to achieve!
it was lovely
Lovely afternoon treat for 6 of us visiting family in London. I had to call to make my reservation as I couldn’t book for 6 online, a lovely lady juggled things around to fit us in. I paid immediately over the phone using my bank card (£180) 24 hours later Biscuiteers sent out an email offering 15% off afternoon teas for two. I called the shop and they agreed to honour the new offer saving me £27 which I spent on biscuits however even though I am a registered to earn presie points with Biscuiteers I didn’t realise until after visiting that because my booking was completed over the phone I didn’t earn any presie points (for my booking of £153!) this leaves me feeling a little disappointed. The afternoon tea was lovely, the shop staff attentive and on the ball but I feel disappointed not to have earned more than £10 in presie points with my booking - apologies for mentioning this since we did have a lovely time
We attended the DIY icing cafe and the short story is that I could not recommend enough to anyone considering! Each and every member of staff were so friendly and helpful and out ya complete novices at ease. There was a rather large class/workshop going on at the same time and it would have been very easy for us to become a second priority, which was absolutely not the case, so thank you for that! The experience is great fun, and the biscuiteers team give a short but very useful tutorial at the start and then just let you get in with it, which I very much enjoyed as I prefer to be left to my own devices on these types of things; however it did still feel that if help was needed it was easily sought. Lastly, the shop atmosphere was perfect and very welcoming. Again I could not recommend enough for anyone thinking of booking!!
Cute cafe but seating extraordinarily tight with very uncomfortable benches and table so narrow we could hardly fit the crockery on. Service was friendly and efficient. I can’t see how it can be called an afternoon tea with no sandwiches. The scone was warmed and tasted nice but to have just one per person is very mean. My friend asked for another and whilst not refused was awkwardly told it would take half an hour?? The cakes were ok but the eclairs were dry and the macaroons tasted stale. The brownie was good and the rhubarb cake was very nice. Overall though it felt like a run of the mill coffee shop and so to charge £30 for essentially a cup of tea and few cakes is exorbitant. I’ve had afternoon tea countless times in many different venues but this has to be the most disappointing for the price.
Hi Kathrin, Thank you so much for leaving a review and for sharing your feedback, we will definitely pass this on to the manager at Notting Hill. Many thanks again and kind regards, Biscuiteers x
Our Hen Party had the best time for our icing lesson! Paula was fab as our teacher. We all enjoyed ourselves! The fizz and chocolates were a lovely extra touch too. Thank you!!
We weren’t rushed at all which was so lovely! Such a calm nice environment! Thank you so much!
We had a lovely time but for what it actually is the cost is extortionate.
A lovely atmosphere and experience icing the biscuits :) for both adults and kids
This was a memorable day out with a group of children who all enjoyed designing their biscuits while we enjoyed the delicious drinks on offer!
My husband and I enjoyed our visit and your staff were very helpful and bubbly! The cakes and scones and biscuits were absolutely lovely but we would have liked to have had a couple of finger sandwiches to go with them. The teas from Cornwall were excellent and the glass of Prosecco went down very well. We would certainly recommend you to our friends.
Great party. Children were all completely entertained throughout and the party bag with biscuits they had made was a nice touch. We opted for a bespoke cake which was excellent. Food was good - just a shame there was a mix up with the pasta. Atmosphere was great Staff super helpful- nothing was too much trouble
Fantastic service with very accommodating staff. The food was delicious and atmosphere cosy. We had a great time and would definitely recommend.
The space is very limited and the “afternoon tea” area too crammed. The staff, although very keen and friendly, were taking a bit long at service, as they also had to act as shop sellers. The contents of the tea were delicious but there was only one savoury canapé, so not too well balanced. Overall a nice, festive event but not the most wholesome afternoon tea experience.
Hi Kat, Thank you for leaving a review! We will be passing this feedback on to our cafe to look into. Many thanks and Kindest Regards, Biscuiteers x
Paola was an excellent host.
We really enjoyed it. Great fun and came away with 6 iced biscuits. Thanks
Was very impressed by the sheer amount of cakes at the tea. Everything balanced very well. Staff were super friendly, was very jealous of the icing class.
We all enjoyed our afternoon tea.
Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Gorgeous spot with delicious afternoon tea!!!
Nice salty goat cheese biscuit Scones we liked second most..more of them would be good.. Chocolate item was for us too sweet Cosy coffee...
Although the service was very pleasant and attentive we were extremely disappointed with the Christmas high tea. We were sat on a table next to a teen party which did not create the relaxed adult atmosphere we would have hoped for and while this is something we could have got over combined with the disappointing tea it really didn’t help. Most disappointing was the high tea. Served on a chipped and wobbly tea tray. At a place which prides itself on biscuits to receive only one small biscuit with the high tea for £30 was an absolute joke. Especially when advertisement shows a full size biscuit pride of place with the tea. The gentleman at the table next to us ordered the a mint tea and received the same biscuit. The cakes offered were perfectly nice but very similar to the fair offered at any high tea. Give us biscuits Biscuiteers!!
Splendid Christmas tea and icing experience for my 12 year old granddaughter. Very welcoming staff.
My Mom and I had a great time learning how to ice biscuits. The girls were lovely and we were provided with useful advice and all the necessary material to work on the biscuits. Now we just have to work on our creative skills ! Thanks again, we loved it and we will surely be back :)
