Wonderful afternoon thank you
Amazing Bubbly high tea, really enjoyed all the savoury and sweet treats, the bubbles went down a treat, only negative was the cocktails were only teaser sizes.
We had a delicious and original high tea on a sunny day overlooking the harbour accompanied by bubbles the n finished off with a Bellini.
We had a really great time, when i bought some residents from the Poynton retirement village. Was a lovely morning and everything was how they said it would be, thank you.
I booked High Tea at Bellini to celebrate my Mothers 95th birthday so a very special occasion. I was pleased with the service and the food especially that my gf diet was accommodated but I was less than impressed with the location and atmosphere. It was like sitting in an airport departure lounge with people sitting around reading etc. The so called wonderful views were non existent with a cruise ship outside the window and the seating arranged with its back to the window anyway. I viewed the upstairs dining room and this is what I would have expected of the Hilton. A beautiful setting with amazing views. I would not recommend the High Tea just because of the setting but would recommend dining again because of the setting. If High Teas could be served upstairs then I would definitely recommend. Linda
Fabulous! Our group, aged from 10-90 all love it here. The wonderful setting, superb food and drink, the professional, attentive, but never intrusive, service keep us returning on all sorts of occasions.
We had a great afternoon at Bellini's, it was a real treat! The staff were fabulous and very accomodating. It's a great place to celebrate a special occasion.
Best non-traditional High Tea I've had in Auckland
I wish I knew this wasn't a restaurant...the menu has a full dinner selection, so I assumed I was booking a table. as the menu gave that impression. However, it was a reserved seating area, comprising couches and coffee tables. While this is lovely for a drink or 2, having dinner like that was not great and all our backs were sore. There were 2 long 'slab' tables, that I requested we move to, but staff said they didn't have enough chairs to accommodate us to sit there, so that was disappointing. It was an end of year dinner (10 people) so we wanted a more formal seating arrangement, that would have been comfortable to have dinner, while this wasn't suitable.
Lovely afternoon had with great attentive staff and amazing bite sized flavour filled morsels. Great cocktails, shame they weren’t slightly larger 😉 Thank you Bellini staff
Great coffee and atmosphere
Not bad for our first high tea experience. Great food and great staff! It has been a memorable birthday celebration thanks to your great service.
One of the best high teas with stunning views, thank you!
Great way to spend the last afternoon with my daughter before I return to the UK and don’t see her for at least a year.
We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the food and drink and wonderful service. Only slightly let down by the large group of people coming through the foyer for another event elsewhere in the hotel and held in the same close proximity to ourselves. But once they were gone we got back to enjoying ourselves and the view.
We went for a Fathers Day High Tea. The food was delicious, service amazing and the drinks kept coming!
Beautiful food, fantastic view, nice service. I would love to recommend to my friends and relatives.
Unfortunately this was not a great dining experience for us. When we arrived we were told we had one and a half hours dining time, which would have been fine if the food arrived quickly, however some time after we ordered we were told they did not have the food we had ordered so we had to reorder a couple of our dishes. After an hour we still had not received our food so we asked if we could stay beyond the 1.5 hours so we could have dessert as well, since it was a birthday lunch. The waitresses were very friendly and polite and organised another table for the booking after us so we didn't have to leave early. We didn't realise there were only low tables and couches, which made it very difficult to eat a sit down lunch. We had to either lean forward to the low table or balance our plates on our knees. The food was all fine except the battered fish came out cold. My son doesn't eat chocolate so he ordered the strawberry pavlova, however all the desserts came out on a base of chocolate sauce. Again the waitresses were polite and gracious and ordered another dessert for him that had no chocolate sauce in it. The setting of the restaurant is beautiful however I would suggest having tables you can eat properly at, and not restricting the dining time unless the food is going to come out quickly. The waitresses should also inform customers at the start if something on the menu is not available. Chocolate sauce should not be used in a dessert if it is not specified on the menu.
The food was great. Your parking is unclear. We thought we parked under Hilton, tends out it was Wilson. We got stung by $65 charge. The divide line is unclear.
Everything was fabulous!
It is always a lovely experience having afternoon tea at Bellini and last Saturday was no exception. My girlfriends and I absolutely enjoyed the atmosphere, the lovely view of the sea and the great service! We were all wowed by the presentation, especially now that you use the Zealong tea range. Love the tea smelling activity/ceremony and tea pots, nice touch there! The only down side was the desserts/sweets in the afternoon tea which we weren't quite disappointed with. The sweet scones were a bit too dry, the pink mousse just had too much gelatin so it didn't have the smooth texture and was tasteless. Weren't too sure about the cold drinking chocolate either... The lattes we ordered had inconsistency - some had too much milk froth, almost 1/4 of the cup, whereas some didn't have as much. They were yummy though. In summary, we absolutely loved the savoury dishes but were disappointed with the sweet ones. If you could please improve on the sweet ones we will definitely be back!
Great day, food was at a very high standard and staff were lovely, just one comment had to ask for our second tea. Lovely views over the sea.
Wow. Great service. Great food and great views. Treated like stars. We will be back
Excellent Service. I was 1 day late letting you know that we had a lactose intolerant person attending they advised me that they couldn't guarantee anything however they had advised the kitchen. The lady was over the moon with the food that she was given and would like you to pass on to the kitchen this feedback. A great afternoon had by all thank you.
