Really good value for money, staff were very attentive, only reason for the 3 on atmosphere was it was quite quiet when we went, would definitely go back.
I would give 6 stars for the value 4 money! I had the good fortune to meet head chef Lindsay recently and thought that the greedy gannet might be a gem, given his former role at House of Tides. Sunday lunch today was lovely - friendly service, excellent food and quite exceptional value. I think the beer pairing (1/3 pint with each course) works really well with a roast too. Beeronomy is a cool setting and only steps from monument to boot. In an area packed with familiar franchise choices, this is a great little place for local quality 👍
Food was lovely, nice atmosphere, GREAT staff, we will all be back.
Everyone enjoyed the food and had a great time. The staff were absolutely brilliant and very helpful throughout the night we would definitely have another do there and visit for food. Thank you all for making it such a good night for my son.
The food was excellent and I was particularly impressed given it was a festive menu.
We had a good time, food is slightly overpriced.
Fabulous food and relaxed atmosphere.
Bit disappointed we couldn’t have extra gravy with our Sunday lunch however this was due to us being a late booking
Absolutely fantastic, can't fault anything. Thank you.
Great value - lovely food and very reasonably priced.
I was disappointed with the gluten free option, there was only fish on the menu. With my party coming on a Sunday we all wanted Sunday dinner. My friend who is celiac had to have a dry dinner as there was no gf gravy. Also the pudding option for gf was very disappointing . We would have stayed and all had a pudding if there had been another option, as there wasn’t we went elsewhere. The location is great and very pretty inside but possibly won’t eat here again with such limited options.
Friendly service and great tasting food; beers good too!
Needs better lighting during lunch times!! Takes away from the atmosphere rather than add to it, amazing food though
Excellent selection of beer (I already knew this) but this was the 1st time we had eaten here and the food was fantastic. Great value for money and the staff were very good. We will be back. Thanks.
The set menu was amazing value and absolutely delicious. We were a party of 7 and everyone enjoyed the meal immensely. The service was fantastic - special thanks to Karen who was lovely!
This was my 1st visit and I was more than impressed with everything. The food was delicious. Looking forward to coming again.
Thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks. Our waitress Kerryn was also lovely. The only things that could be improved for next time would be the temperature (quite chilly!) and that the table was left uncleared for over an hour after finishing dessert. even after paying the bill and having a few more drinks the table was still covered in bowls/cutlery/napkins
The restaurant week menu was great and we thoroughly enjoyed however the portions were on the small side.
Lovely! Had a great meal, just the right size for pre-theatre and experienced this lovely bar-restaurant for the first time. Slightly miffed that the card machine wouldn't allow us to tip, but we left cash instead. We'll go back.
Went for the restaurant week menu. Both had veggie starters and mains and a dessert each. Absolutely fantastic food and presentation with lovely service. Please continue this type of food on the regular menu.
eaton mess was the best.
great deal pre concert at the city hall service brilliant lovely cocktails
