Incredible experience - we enjoyed Sunday brunch and everything was fantastic, from the smiles on the faces of every member of staff (they couldn't do enough for us) to the excellent food (coconut tapioca was sublime!). Thanks all :)
Food was very tasty. Service was good- when the waitress took a while to come back for our drinks order they gave them to us for free. Nice touch. Toilets / storage area needs a bit of tlc
Great place in a lovely location. Food was amazing, could have had staff recommend or chat us through the menu as we hadn't been before. We had ordered extras but the waitress missed it off the order and so we had to wait extra for it. Other than that its got great vibes, food is well thought out. Decor is on point. Staff could be a little bit friendlier. I would recommend and go again.
Great food, very friendly staff, will def be back to check out their other locations!
You need to sort your bathroom out - the mop and bucket on show and seeing cups and plates stored in there was really gross, especially in such a small space. Also, I don't feel happy that the service charge doesn't go to servers - who were awesome! The smoked salmon royale was brilliant.
Staff were amazing - v friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was like being in a insta paradise.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Cool atmosphere. Food was amazing.
Great food and service. Acoustics make the place a bit overwhelming noise wise. Was very pleased to find a dairy and gluten free option - would love to see more.
The Bondi is amazing!!
As a regular customer to Darcy May and Beany Green, I was disappointed with my most recent visit. We started with drinks in the Darcy May and the service was very slow and drinks super overpriced (my friend and I bought the same round and were charged different prices for each) I paid £21 for two rum & ginger beer. We then went to Beany Green for food where the service was terrible. We were standing waiting to be greeted for ages as servers walked past us and then another 10 mins to be seated for our booking. The waitress serving us did not understand the most basic of drinks orders (Aperol spritz and a white wine spritz). She then forgot the wine spritzer and the bar man actually came to our table to ask how to make it and still didn't get it right. Service overall was poor and slow. The toilets could have been cleaner. Thankfully the food was good and we had no complaints on that front but I'd love to see the service standards back to what they were before as I've been a big fan of these restaurants and always like to bring friends here.
The food here tastes good but not great but it's a convenient location so I often drop in. On Saturday, it was busy. The coffee took 45 minutes to arrive and only after we chased it twice. The Lamingtons are below average and overpriced for their size. The staff are friendly but not highly skilled. Orders would be taken without clearing dirty plates and cups from the table. The staff could do with some training.
Great staff and fantastic brunch food Recommended
We had booked a table for 5 early in the week but were disappointed to find we were crammed onto a table for 4. This, together with the fact we were positioned on a high table right by the door, meant it wasn’t a particularly relaxing experience.
Got a great window table & enjoyed al la carte brunch: fresh, hot, delicious. Would recommend.
I was left disappointed, especially as I have wanted to visit a Daisy : Green Collection. I thought the menu was minimal, service slow and it was very hot in the cafe (ventilation may need to be reviewed). Hopefully this is a one-off as it has potential to be a lovely little spot, especially for meeting friends coming into Paddington.
Great place for breakfast/ lunch
Our waitress was lovely and the food was delish 😃
It’s the second time we go. We went for brunch and coffee. It’s good but I find it pricey. You end up spending easily 18 pounds for a brunch that is not filling and a drink. I would have put a higher rating if on our last visit we were told, after we ordered, that the coffee machine was broken. It was the third time it broke that morning. We were told to get other drinks which were all more expensive than the coffee we had originally ordered Ok these things can happen but a good service would offer drinks to compensate a broken coffee machine or offer them at the same price as the coffee. Instead with the broken coffee machine they made more money on the drinks and we had to go elsewhere after the brunch. Dissatisfied with the service.
The food was amazing. We loved the vibe of the place. I highly suggest it, the only thing that I didn't like is that the place could be a little tidier.
Food was fantastic and the staff were lovely
Lovely helpful staff, great food
Table next to door so quite cold. Also noisy having difficulties to understand my friend (was just 2 of us). Ordered the smoked salmon / poached eggs / avocado while my friend went for the bacon roll. The eggs were hard boiled, no runny yoke (both for me and my friend). Avocado rock hard. Didn’t want to make a scene so didn’t send it back, but disappointed.
