About BBar & Grill
Welcome to the BBar & Grill. Located within the Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel in the Clydebank area.
Our chefs use fresh, locally sourced, high quality Scottish produce to create delicious and nutritious food, Our fresh fish is sustainable and caught by day boats in Scottish waters, some of which is landed in Peterhead, Shetland and Scrabster. Our beef is supplied by Tulloch the butcher, and sourced from the nearby Glennifer Hills.
With a private dining room, terraced area along with our BBar & Grill, we not only have the right space but the professional service for every occasion.
My husband and myself had afternoon tea here last Friday. The wooden cabinet that the food was brought on was thick with dust which made us both feel quite queezy. The fact that the food was placed directly onto the dust was shocking. I struggle to understand why this dust had not been noticed by any of the restaurant staff prior to service. We also only had 5 minature cakes on the stand. Any other afternoon tea i have had would always provide an equal amount of cakes for each guest. The service was good and quick, although there were only another couple of customers present when we arrived. Very disappointed and shocked. This was a belated birthday treat so i felt unable to complain at the time. I hope the place sorts the basics of cleanliness out before others are subjected to this.
Lovely day. Good value for money. Welcoming and attentive staff
The afternoon tea was lovely but it was a bit of an odd moment sharing the space with a wedding party as they toasted the married couple
Great food, especially ‘coo in Irn Bru’! Service was fantastic - lovely and friendly staff.
Good food and lovely outlook
Had a lovely lunch on Saturday with my daughter excellent service staff were very pleasant good value for money.
Very good service, pleasant staff. Lovely dining room/view. Couldn’t fault it.
Disappointed with the selection and the miniature cakes! Very helpful staff!
Clare was excellent very attentive and helpful with recommendations
Very efficient staff. Food great.
Food was gorgeous. Staff very nice and helpful.
New menu from last visit, not updated on website, different take on prawn cocktail, preferred old menu. Food was only lukewarm, sweets were lovely. The floor was unswept after party had left. Chairs in lounge area in need of replacement, not good pre dinner impression. Staff were pleasant but need to keep on top of cleaning between diners.
Nice afternoon tea and drinks staff good and pleasent
First time here and we were not disappointed, lovely staff and nice atmosphere, Afternoon tea was really nice, would definitely come back
Visited BBar & Grill for a celebration on my son finishing school but we were bitterly disappointed on our visit this time as previous visits had always been very good. My husband ordered the steak pie which when it arrived was cold and my son ordered a burger which was also cold and had to be returned as there was things on the burger that my son did not ask for, we were looking forward to a nice quiet family dinner but on arriving in the corridor of the hotel going towards the restaurant all we could hear was a rabble coming from the bar, there was something on at the bar area I don't know if it was a christening or communion but all the guests were in the bar area next to the restaurant and we could not hear ourselves speak and kept having to shout to each other from across the table, looking at the other dinning guests that were there at the same time as us I could see that you were getting disturbed by the noise coming from the bar area also
Excellent family event with great food and excellent value for money . We were all so well looked after thank you to all the staff .
Been many times and was very dissatisfied Steak was very poor, fillet . Tasteless, chips undercooked and wife had red onion and mushroom pasta that was so bland Won’t be back again sadly And won’t recommend anymore Such a let down Not the food it once served Possibly new chef Thank you again
Although the staff were friendly, there were very few on and often took some time for us to find someone to ask for more drinks etc. Food service was very slow for both courses. I waited 20 minutes for a sticky toffee pudding, which was sent to me burnt black and inedible. Waiting staff were very kind when apologising for this and took it off the bill, however I was shocked to be presenting with this dish after having waited so long (especially when they charge £7 for it!!). Sandwiches course were good. Able to cater for gluten free diets.
Always find the staff here very pleasant and attentive. Very relaxing atmosphere with a pleasant outlook over the river.
Nice food Quiet atmosphere Warm A little too many sandwiches. A little less sandwiches and a few more cakes would be best. Also, the butter could have been a little softer and not coming straight from the fridge. A little more cream for the scones would have been good as there wasn’t enough for 2 people for both sides of the scones.
Really good value for money
Would have preferred to have been asked if there was any sandwich filling we didn't eat as a result out of the 6 finger sandwiches -3 had prawns which were not eaten so a waste of food. Apart from that the small selection of cakes were lovely
Had afternoon tea for early mother's day treat. Scones were lovely and freshly made, sandwiches could have been a little more exciting: egg mayo, chicken (a slice of) and cucumber, cheese and tomato. Cakes were lovely.
Delicious food and great service.
