Contemporary beachside restaurant with magnificent views of Cheung Sha Wan beach. Unique destination dining for everyday getaways.
We are on a closed road and unless you have a private car permit can access via public bus or taxi from Tung Chung and Mui Wo ferry that departs from Central.
Lovely ambience but the music was too loud and we couldn't hear our conversation. We asked for it to be turned down and it was seen to immediately . Had the excellent sharing menu -all delicious . I chose the steak for an extra 50 hkd but it wasn't great - a bit gristly - so wished I'd had the burger! Good service.
Thank you so much to the Bathers team for a totally perfect evening! We were celebrating a very special occasion and every single member of the Bathers team went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. The service was excellent, the food was faultless, and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. THANK YOU!
Highly recommend Bathers
Nice restaurant by the beach. Totally worth spending a day there.
We have been coming to the restaurant for the past few years, we have always loved it and recommend it to friends however I do feel the menu is too limited and hasn’t been updated for a while. The sun beds could also do with some updating.
My friends and I had a mid week lunch here. We had a fantastic, relaxing time - a combination of sensational weather, great food and service and each other’s company!! If you have a car, recommend getting a single day permit (weekdays only) to drive on South Lantau’s roads (normally restricted unless you live in the area) and come here.
I booked a table online for 7 people which was confirmed but when we arrived the restaurant was closed. It took us a long time to get there so we were not amused, get your booking system sorted guys.
A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon with delicious, fresh food and a marvelous sea view. We’ll be back soon!
Outstanding service & beautiful food, we will definitely be back soon.
Had a lovely lunch!...was a slight mix up with one order as we were a large group and you more than made up for it providing extra calimari and with the lovely friendly service!...thank you. Will definitely recommend to all our friends!
We went on New Yesr’s Eve and had a great time. All of us felt that the food was good but a tad overpriced. We picked from the ala carte menu and was disappointed that the sharing option was not available as the New Year’s menu did not appeal. However, service was good and the setting stunning. We will be back.
A fabulous venue for a long lunch, no matter what the weather!
Nice Place ... Enjoy the environment very much ....
We had a fabulous day at Bathers yesterday - food and service were excellent! We were a party of 12 and the lovely staff looked after us fantastically! We will be back again soon.
Will definitely come back.
We enjoyed a fabulous evening at Bathers! The food was superb, excellent service with relaxed, friendly service & the best setting. Nothing was too much trouble for Ebonie, she's amazing. My family & I would highly recommend this place.
Fabulous setting, excellent staff and delicious food. We'll be back!
Nice on all environment, food, cocktails and service. Even absense of clear sky and sun could still get you an impressive dining experience with your loved ones
That is so sweet that you have menu special for kids!
This has just become my favourite chill out spot in Hong Kong. I thought about viving a1 star review so I can have the place to myself! Excellent wine moderate food , great service and great music not to mention fabulous views.
Great setting & service. Seafood was fresh & perfectly cooked we had Prawns, Red Snapper, Salmon ceviche & the kids Fish & Chips. The Snapper was a disappointingly small piece for $230 & served with no salad/vegetables so for that reason rated 4 stars for value for money. Good drinks list & great coffee.
Very nice ambience and great food, slightly pricy drinks for rural Lantau, but then again, this is Hong Kong. Main problem is that South Lantau is virtually impossible on weekends and holidays - hours of queuing for busses, all being full as they haul tourists back from Tai O and taxis impossible to get unless you add a massive tip and go to the other end of HK. Shame that Cheung Sha beach is so polluted - water full of rubbish, and way too crowded on a weekend. Would only come to this beach again for the food - if only transport was easier! Will definitely plan a weekday hike and finish at the beach in order to enjoy the Beach House once again.
Fabulous restaurant, fabulous setting, fabulous fun!
Greatly improved over the past few months. Love spending here. Make the salads bigger and it would be good to see more vegetarian dishes on the menu.
