Enjoyed a lovely stay in the hotel for pre-Xmas shopping and returned for a lovely meal on Valentine's Night. A big thank-you to Hana and her team. Will be back again soon.
Very good. Tasty food, nice setting and friendly staff!
We chose this place to have lunch at the same time we were watching the rugby match. Ireland vs Wales. TVs weren't working. They told us they were fixing them... Then that the problem was the storm which was a bad excuse...we had to rush our lunch to move during the break. Market bar had an amazing screen, good selection of beer and better atmosphere for watching the match.
Had a lovely night here. Love love the decor and the food we choose was just divine. No issues at all would def go back
Fabulous food and service!
Hi there, I wanted to leave a comment regarding our family get together lunch in the Grafton hotel on Sunday 22nd Dec. While the host was waitress' were absolutely lovely, the dinner was not great and definitely not worth €39 per head when renowned hotels such as The Westbury and The Shelbourne were charging €35 per head. Unfortunately they were both booked up when we hoped to book in. Where to start: Each course took at least 40 min between courses even though there was no one else in the restaurant. When the meals finally arrived the potatoes were so over seasoned they were almost inedible. The veg were so lightly blanched they were raw. When I received my Cod for main course it was literally about 2 x 2 inches squared. I then asked for another piece of cod and specifically asked them not to make another dinner. I had to wait about 15 min for the 2nd piece of cod to come out but was told that its taking so long as its been cooked from scratch! Keep in mind this is a piece of fish and there was no one else in the restaurant! Finally when it arrived I was handed a full dinner once again??? The fish this time was raw in the middle sitting in amongst the raw veg and over salted spuds! It really was not good and turned my stomach to look at that fish all slimy. Then with dessert we ordered Christmas Mess and what a mess it was. There was literally about 20 cloves in each dessert and it just tasted like a big bowl of Pot Purri., It was really horrible. I just feel that hotels like this are just been thrown up with no care for quality. I would have no interest in eating there again.
Staff fantastic and very attentive. Food and cocktails were gorgeous so will definitely be back again.
The restaurant staff was extraordinarily friendly and professional. The food was delicious. The decor is very creative and pleasant. We had a wonderful end of year party. I highly recommend
We had our Christmas party in The Grafton Hotel on Saturday night. Dinner in Bartley's was fab and atmosphere in the restaurant and Scaredy Cat bar was really great. Thanks Hana for looking after us and organising such a great evening.
We booked our company Christmas night at the Grafton Capital and we had an amazing time, the food the service was A+ and the newly decorated restaurant, bar and nightclub was so cosy but very stylish. We will definitely return. Thank you & Merry Christmas to all the staff.
Thanks for a great night
Servers were friendly yet quite slow, orders taken 25 minutes after being seated, another 10 minutes before drinks arrived. Delays of about 25 minutes between courses. Food: Main course (steaks) were lovely; soup starter was served without breadroll, scallops tiny portion. Desserts @€9 each: brownie was a very dry piece of chocolate cake; creme brûlée was basically a sickly, warm bowl of custard. Lovely place but some elements not great and not worth the price.
Great venue, inventive food, will be back soon
The surroundings and the service were fine, but the quality of the food was very disappointing. Starters were warm at best, though veering towards cold. Mains were very ordinary, veering towards poor.
Venue has great potential and loved the decor. Restaurant staff need training, not great table service, it was the small things that took away from the evening. In addition, there was no need for the music been played in the restaurant, it was too loud and not suitable for a restaurant.
Had such a fabulous meal for 11 here, excellent friendly service, gorgeous food especially the range of vegetarian options and bar food for the younger ones! Will definitely be back!
