About Baravin Aberystwyth
A buzzy independently run cafe bar with panoramic views of Cardigan Bay. Pizza. pasta, craft beer, cocktails, coffee.
I always love visiting Baravin. The staff are friendly, the food and drinks are good, and the view is perfect. It’s so popular and often busy, and it’s understandable why. But there’s no need to worry, cos even during the busy times, you’re never forgotten about by the staff, and they do all they can to ensure you’re happy.
A lovely little place with great food, only food suggestions would be, the bread on the meat platter is far too thickly cut. Service was great for the first half an hour but then we sat with no drinks twice we had to try and get someone’s attention and even when we wanted the bill we had to wait and try get someone’s attention and then left the money on the bar as they never returned. It was a real shame because it’s a lovely place and initially they were very attentive.
Great food and good value
Always fab food. Best banoffee pie I have ever had. Waiting times were a little long due to it being so busy, but always a pleasure to go to Baravin and food and drinks there are always worth it.
Fab food and service. I highly recommend
Excellent ...best location in Aberystwyth - good food and a fine selection of beers/wine Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommended as always. Diolch
Noson hyfryd. Gwasanaeth a bwyd da
Staff were super friendly and welcoming while the food was also above my expectations will be going again
Really lovely food and atmosphere we booked early evening due to cinema reservations and had a really swift service which was ideal for us
Cawsom swper bendigedig gyda gwasanaeth Cymraeg heb ei ail. Byddwn yn argymell i eraill yn sicr. Diolch yn fawr.
Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. I had duck and mango salad- plenty of salad but not much duck in evidence! Having said that we had a lovely evening and would definitely go again!
Ddiolch am bwyd ardderchog
Easy to book on line. Good food promptly served.
Fantastic rustic food, something for everyone and friendly service. Only point was that there was no music playing, would have added to the atmosphere.
We come every year and are never disappointed. Amazing food as always!
Unfortunately found this restaurant a little underwhelming. Booked for the famed views and only had views of a digger. Not the fault of the restaurant but would have much preferred a table in the bay window (sea view). The menu was quite limited. I opted for a risotto which came 5 minutes after the other meals and wasn’t cooked properly. As I’d already waited I decided to try and persevere, I couldn’t though when the rice started sticking in my teeth. My husband, who has the stomach of goat, swapped with me. His carbonara was much nicer. My daughter said she enjoyed her pizza. The cocktails were lovely and only £5. Atmosphere was okay, found the storage cage (with catering supplies) in the middle of the restaurant a little odd though. Probably wouldn’t return.
Lovely food and friendly staff. Diolch.
Fantastic evening at Baravin, as always! Delicious food, served efficiently and piping hot to all 15 of us by your very helpful and friendly staff, washed down with THE best cocktails. Thank you so much!
Lovely setting but food and drinks overpriced. 2.60 for a can of schweppes lemonade?? Bland floppy pizzas. Will not be returning in a hurry.
popeth yn ardderchog, diolch! everything was great, thank you!
We've been to baravin many times for special occasions but this time certainly didn't seem special. We're used to a great range of different and not-found-anywhere-else flavourful pizzas and pastas. There were 3 choices of pizza and the same of pasta. The "margharitta" pizza was some tomato sauce and 5 pieces of mozzarella with 2 basil leaves on top...disappointing to say the least! The location remains beautiful so it's a shame the food wasn't as wonderful as we remembered!
Great service, lovely lunch. Perfect for a girly lunch
